Chungdam Elementary School

KRIIIIIIIING! 

The last bell rang and school was officially over. The students of Chungdam Elementary packed their bags at the speed of light and ran out of campus grounds and back home. 

Ah Mi was still packing her bags when a couple voices interrupted her, " Still packing... tsk tsk... and I thought we were heading out for ddukbokki. " She looked up to see her two best friends standing at her table, crossing their arms and complaining, again. 

Ah Mi chuckled before zipping up her bag and slinging it on her shoulder. " I'm done now. Can we go? " Her friends, Ji Eun and Jinri nodded before following out her out of campus. 

While walking, Ah Mi realised that Ji Eun and Jinri weren't following and looked behind to see the both of them talking on the phones. When they hung up, their faces showed sadness. Ah Mi went to them with a worried expression, and for a moment, no one spoke. 

" Sorry, Ah Mi. My mom said I need to go home to do my chores. " Ji Eun apologised. Ah Mi nodded. " Same here. But, babysitting Junhong. "Ah Mi frowned. 

" Great, last day of school and I can still be ditched by my friends. " Ah Mi complained. Ji Eun and Jinri gave her "the face"  as they separated ways. 

Alone, Ah Min sulked as she walked to the ddukbokki stand across from school. While walking, a woman wearing a dark grey suit stopped her. 

" Hello, I was wondering if you would like to be an idol in a famous company. " The woman said. * Idol? Famous company? * 

" Who are you? " Ah Mi asked. The woman smiled. " I'm JYP's scouting agent and we are looking around Gagnam for fresh faces such  as you to be a trainee. " 

Surprise crossed Ah Mi's face. " T-trainee?! M-me? " The woman nodded and gave her a card. ah Mi looked at the card and the woman was right, the card was labeled 'JYP Entertainment' and it showed that the company's address was in Gagnam. 

" Discuss it with your parents, and if they're willing and so are you, give us a call. " The woman said as Ah Mi nodded. As the woman walked away, Ah Mi jumped up and down. She was lucky that there was no one. With a happy expression, she skipped her way to the ddukbokki shop. 

When she got home that day, " Mom! Dad! Are you home?! " she shouted. Immediately, two heads appeared from the kitchen. 

" Oh? Ah Mi! You're home! " Ah Mi's mother said. Ah Mi rolled her eyes. " I have great news! " Ah Mi began. She took the card out from her pocket and showed it to her parents. When their parents saw the card, their eyes widened. " Isn't this, Ah Yeon's company? " Ah Mi nodded. 

" Well, since your sister is there. Why not? But you still have to go to school. " Ah Mi nodded. She took the card from her parents and went to her room to call the company for an audition, which of course she passed. 

From there, she trained everyday and went to school everyday for the next four years.
