Hyukjae glanced at Donghae who was still playing on his laptop (it had been that way for the past hour since they arrived). The redhead let out a small pout, "Do you really think I'm boring?" He asked out of nowhere. Donghae furrowed his eyebrows and glanced at Hyukjae for a moment, "What was that, Hyukkie?"

                 The elder sat up straight this time, "Are they really more fun than I am?!" He screamed in frustration. Donghae was startled by the sudden change in tone and almost dropped the laptop. He blinked innocently before scooting closer to Hyukjae and letting out a toothy grin, "It's not that you're not fun, Hyukjae. It's just that…" He suddenly paused, seeming to not have anything sweet to say, and instead deadpanned, "Oh, who am I kidding? You're so ing boring, motherer."

                   Hyukjae gasped; clearly offended, "Well, excuse me, you ungrateful person!" Donghae stuck his tongue out in the other's face, "Just think about it, Hyukkie. Since we became officially together, you didn't even bother doing something interesting for the two of us to get closer and stuff!"

"Well neither did you!"

"Why should I?!"

"In that case, then why should I?"

"Because you wear the pants in this relationship!"

"..."

"…"

"…So you admit it?"

"What? N-No! Of course not! It just slipped out- It's not like I meant it or anything!"

"Suuuure."

                     Donghae buried his face into his hands since he knew he was a blushing mess by now. He heard Hyukjae laugh in triumph next to him and it took him all he's got to not smother the dude with a pillow.

                     "S-Shut up, Hyukkie." He managed to croak out- his voice all muffled. And to his surprise, the redhead stopped almost immediately. Hyukjae bit his lip, trying to prevent a goofy smile. He scooted next to Donghae and hesitated just a moment before pulling the other toward him and patting his head, "Okay, I'm sorry." He couldn't help but laugh silently.

                    The younger, however, didn't notice that and just snuggled closer to Hyukjae's shoulder and practically buried his face in there. Hyukjae smiled and pulled away slightly, "So, what were you doing on the laptop for the past hour?"

                  Donghae smiled lightly, "Talking to Donghwa Hyung." Hyukjae blinked, "who is Donghwa Hyung?" The younger face-palmed, "Right, I didn't tell you. He's my brother." Hyukjae nodded his head in understanding, "Doesn't he live with you?" Donghae smiled sadly, "He does; he's just too scared to stay alone for too long. It's been a rough year for him."

                 Hyukjae rested his elbows on his thighs, and then his cheeks on his palms, "Oh. Well I'm sorry for that." He whispered. However, he panicked once he saw a thick tear rolling down the younger cheek, "Hae?" Donghae immediately wiped his eyes with his sleeve and sniffled, "I just hope he gets better soon." He smiled a little, trying to calm Hyukjae down- which didn't work at all.

                  The elder frowned and gave the younger a bear-hug, trying to comfort him in any way possible. He relaxed when he saw Donghae sigh in content and rest his weight against him. Donghae felt his cheeks heat up, "I-I know I'm such a crybaby." Hyukjae smiled brightly and subconsciously nuzzled his nose in Donghae's hair.

                   Hyoyeon and Hyukjae were walking through the hallways, chatting happily with each other, "So how are you feeling now?" The redhead asked softly while rummaging through his messenger bag. Hyoyeon yawned, "Much better."

                 Suddenly, Hyoyeon stopped walking and gasped, "Oh my god, Hyukjae! I didn't tell you yet!" Hyukjae stared at her with curiosity, motioning her to continue. He bit her lip and squealed, "Remember the waiter from the café I took you to weeks ago? Kikwang?"

                 Hyukjae nodded slowly before her squeals got louder, "I had finally built up some courage to ask him out last night! He even told me to give my number to that he can call me on our date!" The redhead blinked, letting all the information sink in before he grinned widely and threw his arm around the blonde's shoulder and chuckled, "Awesome."

                  Slowly, the two noticed that Donghae and Heechul were walking toward them. The younger stood on the tip of his toes and pecked Hyukjae's lips. The two started laughing as soon as Heechul practically jumped on Hyoyeon with a huge grin on his face.

                 "They seem to be getting really close." Hyukjae commented while instinctively wrapping his arm around Donghae's shoulder. The younger nodded but yelped in surprise when he felt strong arms wrap around his slim waist and pull him away from Hyukjae's hold.

                  His tense body immediately relaxed when he recognized Siwon's warmth and smiled, "Hey Wonnie." The taller boy hummed in response and laughed when Hyukjae shoved him off. Siwon sat on one of the benches, "Hey, did you guys see Kyu today?" All four of them shook their heads in unison.

                  Siwon laughed gleefully, "He was actually making out with Sungmin in the library this morning." Donghae gasped in shock, Heechul laughed maniacally, Hyoyeon squealed her little heart out, and Hyukjae simply raised his eyebrows.

                 Donghae immediately averted his gaze to meet Hyukjae's, "We should do that too, Hyukkie!" The redhead swore his eyes were sparkling- He looked like a child who was allowed to buy his favorite candy. He narrowed his eyes, "Making out in the library?" Donghae grinned childishly, "Not necessarily, it can be anywhere!" He flailed his arms in the air.

                Hyukjae gaped, "I never knew you were so forward." Donghae just giggled and bounced in excitement. Hyukjae could hear some snorts and snickers and comments thrown from Hyoyeon and Heechul, but he decided to just ignore it, not even wanting to know what the evil duo was talking about.

                    Hyukjae was yawning like crazy by the time he got home. He couldn't study at all and his eyes kept on closing. He groaned in frustration and banged his head against the table.

                  He went to the bathroom and washed his face with ice cold water repeatedly, only to groan once more when he felt even sleepier. He sighed and returned to his desk, place a finger over his eyelids so that they didn't droop.

 ------------------------------------

                   The redhead woke up the next day with his face planted on a book and a pen in his hands. He cursed under his breath and quickly rushed to the bathroom and took a shower to refresh himself.

                    After hastily getting dressed he practically sprinted out of the house and into a taxi car, "To SM Uni. Please drive as fast as you can." He said through pants as he rested his head on the window to his right.

                    When Hyukjae had finally arrived at the campus, he immediately glanced at his watch and sighed in pure relief, he still had ten more minutes until the exam started. He ran his fingers through his red strands and decided that since Hyoyeon's class already started, he would go look for Donghae.

                   Just a few minutes later, he had found that all too familiar head of orange on one of the benches. He smiled when he noticed that the younger was sitting alone and munching cutely on a sandwich with a book on his lap. I wish my head was the book. Hyukjae slowly walked over to the dazed Donghae and rested his head on his shoulder as a greeting.

                  He felt Donghae tense up for a moment before relaxing and pecking Hyukjae's cheek. Reluctantly, Hyukjae lifted his head and chuckled at the other. Donghae looked absolutely adorable stuffing his cheeks up with the sandwich like that and staring innocently at him.

                  The younger slowly reached out the sandwich against Hyukjae's chest, as if telling him to take a bite. Hyukjae realized that he was indeed hungry and willingly took a huge bite.

                    Donghae traced the dark circles under Hyukjae's eyes gently with his index finger before asking softly, "How much sleep did you get, Hyukkie?" Hyukjae smiled weakly, "Two hours. It's okay though, it'll stay that way just until the exams are over."

                   The younger sighed and pecked Hyukjae's cheek, "Well then, I'll see you later, baby." He slowly sat up and hugged the book to his chest before speed-walking to his lecture room. Hyukjae didn't like the tired atmosphere between them one bit, it just succeeded in making him all the more tensed up.

                      That day was really quiet; Donghae and Hyukjae almost didn't speak at all, only occasional hugs and kisses, Heechul and Hyoyeon just spoke softly with each other, not even bothering the new couple once, Siwon kept on reading his bible for good luck with the exams, and Kyuhyun and Sungmin wouldn't stop making out.

                   Donghae let out a small pout, "I don't like this." Heechul yawned loudly with a small grin, "You don't like what?" The younger's pout deepened, "It's too quiet!" Hyukjae smiled, "Do you want to do something?" The younger nodded his head.

                   Hyoyeon chuckled, "There's nothing to do, Hae." Heechul cleared his throat and put on his signature smirk, "Unless you and your monkey want to do something together- That would be possible." He emphasized a lot on the 'something' part as his smirk grew wider.

                    Hyoyeon giggled, "It's true. Besides, has always been a stress reliever, right, Chullie?" Heechul laughed out loud and high fived her, leaving out a flustered Hyukjae and Donghae. The redhead gasped and stared at the blonde, "Hyoyeon!"

                    Donghae buried his face in his arms, "Oh my god, you guys are so sick!" Even though he was redder than a tomato, Donghae couldn't help but let out a small smile since the atmosphere between their group was getting better.

                    A while later, Hyoyeon and Heechul left the campus to get some rest in their homes, Siwon left for a walk, and Kyuhyun and Sungmin decided to 'hang out' in Sungmin's place, which left Donghae and Hyukjae all alone.

                 The redhead was about to leave the almost empty campus to go back home and get his beauty sleep, but just as he was about to step a foot out of the gates, Donghae held his hand and turned him around, pinning him against the wall.

                  Hyukjae raised his eyebrows in shock, "Hae?" Donghae smiled innocently before capturing Hyukjae's lips in a somewhat…longing kiss. Hyukjae was caught off guard at first but them started to kiss the younger fiercely.

                  The redhead turned them around, so that Donghae was the one pushed against the wall, never breaking their kiss at the process. He felt the younger grin against his lips and wrap his arms around his neck, tugging lightly on his hair.

                 Hyukjae nibbled on Donghae's lower lip, begging for entrance, and willingly, the smaller parted his lips and their tongues battled for dominance. The redhead slowly pulled away after a while in need for oxygen. Both of them were flushed and panting like crazy. Donghae smiled slyly, "That was refreshing." Hyukjae laughed out loud and pecked the younger's lips one more time, only to receive a small giggle in response.
