First meeting.

Match Made In Heaven

Hyukjae groaned in annoyance as he felt his body being shook violently, "LEE HYUKJAE WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING IN BED?! IT'S LIKE NINE!" The brunette gasped and sat up straight, "What?!"

"But classes started like an hour ago!" He reasoned. His sister suddenly stopped shaking him and stared stupidly, "Well, duh." He gasped once more, put his thick, black glasses clumsily on and jumped out of bed. How could he oversleep like that? This was like his first day in college!

Hyukjae ran out of the house like a maniac about five minutes later; the boy didn't even brush his teeth. He groaned and ran as fast as he could; pausing at the sidewalk, "Taxi! Taxi!" After a while of yelling those words some old taxi driver pitied him and stopped, "Hop on." He said hoarsely. The twenty year old thanked him a good few times before getting into the back seat, "Take me to SM University, please." He panted. After what felt like a few minutes he finally had the chance to take a look at himself.

Holy . I look like a ing hobo.

His white dress up shirt was tucked in on one side while on the other it was awkwardly sticking out of his black jeans, his hair looked like he had just had and his tie was all messy and hanging loosely around his neck. He groaned repeatedly before stomping his feet to the ground; throwing some sort of soundless tantrum. Hyukjae gracelessly ran his fingers through his messy hair in an attempt to straighten it up a bit and tucked his shirt fully in before fixing his annoying necktie.

A short while later, the brunette was finally in front of the University gates; he took a deep breath before stepping slowly out of the car and into the huge building. He aimlessly walked through the hallways, looking around the empty campus. He wasn't going to show up for whatever lecture he had since it was almost time anyways.

Sighing in relief, the bell had finally rung and quickly, the campus and hallways were crowded with students. Hyukjae walked over to his assigned locker and made the combination before shoving his unneeded books inside. The awkward boy slowly turned around and because of how much of a klutz he is, he bumped quite harshly into someone, "Sorry, I'm so sorry!" He bowed several times and when he didn't get a response he slowly looked up to the person.

His expression was set into a grimace as he stared at the brunette weirdly. Hyukjae felt himself shrink at the other's gaze upon him, "Get a haircut, would you?" The guy finally spoke up with a small smirk and patted the brunette's once again, messy strands. Hyukjae heard snickers from his friends and some of them high fived the guy. He widened his eyes and instinctively ran his hands through his hair, trying to fix it; however, before he knew it, the guy was already gone with his friends following close behind.

Sheesh, how rude!

After he realized how much time he wasted, he ran- for the umpteenth time that morning- to his next class. He entered the lecture room and almost tripped face first on one of the steps. He bowed several times to the Professor in front and took a seat next to a girl. After finally settling down, he smiled politely at her and to his surprise, she actually returned it with a much brighter one, showing her perfect white teeth, 'Hi!" He waved quickly with the same grin on her face.

Hyukjae laughed nervously, "Hi…" she looked at him briefly, "I'm Hyoyeon." She said barely above a whisper this time as to not disturb a class. Hyukjae nodded smiled lightly, "I'm Hyukjae." Surprisingly, the two had gotten along pretty well, and somehow, Hyoyeon wasn't the slightest bit annoyed by the monkey's awkwardness and his very clumsy attitude, well, at least she didn't show she was, and instead, she actually called him cute.

A few hours later, the students were dismissed to have their small lunch break or leave the building for a few minutes if they wished to. Hyoyeon had dragged Hyukjae along with her into the large cafeteria and they sat on one of the small tables that were placed at the far corner. She still had her beautiful smile spread across her face as she started chatting nonstop with the awkward boy, "So, how is your first day so far?" She chirped gleefully. Hyukjae couldn't help but pout, "Is my hair really that bad?" Hyoyeon seemed a bit confused but when she didn't seem to respond, Hyukjae whimpered and his face in his palms. The blonde chuckled, "It could help if you get a haircut, if it makes you feel any better."

Hyukjae's pout only deepened, "I accidentally bumped into a guy this morning, seriously, and he's like the most disrespectful person ever! He actually told me to get a haircut, well excuse me but my hair is just fine!" He blabbered angrily. Hyoyeon giggled quietly at him, the brunette suddenly stopped complaining and widened his eyes, "That’s him." He scrunched his nose up as he stared at the orange haired guy who was walking like he owned the world in the lunch cafeteria.

Hyoyeon widened her eyes and suddenly started laughing uncontrollably, "Oh god, Hyukjae. That's Lee Donghae, he's like the most popular dude on campus; every girl wants to date him and every guy wants to be him." She explained. Hyukjae rolled his eyes, "Well I don't, and look at his hair! Orange? Seriously?" The blonde just grinned, "Why are you making such a big deal out of it, anyways? It's not like he said anything huge." Hyukjae let out an offended gasp, "You have no idea how much my hair is a sensitive subject for me, Hyoyeon!" He stated.

"HaeHae~" Jung Jessica cooed as she placed herself on Lee Donghae's lap. The orange-haired boy smiled forcefully at her, "Hey…" Heechul, his best friend, snorted at the sight. Hyukjae was staring at the scene with a frown, while Hyoyeon just rolled her eyes, "She's Jessica. I've heard she and Donghae had been together since they were kids, and she had always been the clingy girlfriend type, even though they're not really a couple. It's seriously pathetic how she's so head over heels for him." Hyukjae hummed in response as he silently stared at Donghae's futile attempts of shoving the girl off of him.
