Standing In The Dark
“Yes mom, I will. Yes. Yes. No. But- okay. Yeah see you later. You too” Dongwoo hung up, placing his phone in his pocket.
“Your mom?” Hyungsik laughed. He didn’t move his eyes from the TV screen.
“Yeah” Dongwoo sighed “She wanted to make sure that I knew that it was today I am going back home”
“You’re so lucky to be able to go home!” Jinyoung cried.
“Yeah…real lucky” Dongwoo said quiet enough so his roommates couldn’t hear him.
Dongwoo had been studying at the college for about two months now. He had been studying very hard but other than that it had been quite a nice period of time. His two roommates, Hyungsik and Jinyoung, were the best roommates he could ever had have. They didn’t enjoy dancing as much as Dongwoo neither did they share much in common but they were good lads. They didn’t even care that he was gay. They just shrugged it off like it was the most normal thing in the world.
Dongwoo hadn’t talked to Hoya since the day he had told him the truth about his feelings. But he had talked to Sunggyu. He had started working at their old school. Well he didn’t get paid but it was better than staying at home. Plus he could keep an eye on the younger guys that still were stuck in school.
“I should probably go so I don’t miss the train”
Being back in his hometown was weird. Nothing had really changed even though he had been away for a while now.
Dongwoo had talked to Sunggyu earlier and somehow Sunggyu had persuaded him to meet him in the school.
