“So… are you Dongwoo?” the guy repeated. He’s cute, Dongwoo thought to himself. The guy was wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue jeans. His hair was light brown and styled messily.

“Uh yes” Dongwoo stood up “Who are you?”

“I’m Kibum” the guy flashed a smiled, showing off his pearly white teeth. “I’m Hoya’s friend”

“Oh…okay”

It grew quite. Dongwoo awkwardly shuffled his feet. Kibum ran his finger through his golden hair.

“Should we sit down?”

“Yeah sure!”

Dongwoo and Kibum sat down on the blanket.

“You’ve known Hoya for a while, huh?” Kibum asked.

“Yeah, I’ve known him my whole life” Dongwoo smiled “How did you know?”

“Just the way he talked about you”

Dongwoo’s stomach twisted.

“So how long have you’ve known him?”

“Not for too long” Kibum looked down at the glass with sprite in it “is that mine?” he pointed at the glass.

“Yes”

“Good” Kibum took a sip from the glass “we took the same dance class a couple of years ago”

Dongwoo looked down at his hands that were placed neatly in his lap.

“How long have you known that you were… um” Dongwoo stuttered.

“Gay?”

“Yeah” Dongwoo waited for him to burst out laughing since he couldn’t say the word that would be describing him for the rest of his life. But Kibum didn’t laugh. Dongwoo slowly looked up to meet Kibum’s eyes. They were dark brown but when the light hit his face they would shift to green. He had this look on his face. He wasn’t mocking Dongwoo nor did he pity him.

“I assume you haven’t been out of the closet
