Chapter Eight ; The protective brother

minhwa was sitting in a corner of her room,staring at the blank wall in front of her while

hugging her knees.it was her everyday routine.

ding ding

she heard the door bell.

'who is it at this time?' she thought.

jaejoong and his close friends were the only ones who knew about her existence at that

apartment,plus naeun and minho.

"who is it?" she asked.

"It's your one and only lovely oppa!minho oppa!" the manly voice said.

minhwa opened the door exited.
"oppa!!!" she screamed as she jumped into Minho's arms.

she was so happy from the fact that her brother had surprised her with his unexpected visit.it

was about a week since jaejoong had left the house,and she had been all alone and

bored.jaejoong always made her feel at ease and safe even with him ignoring her,teasing her...

Minhwa led her brother inside.but as she wasn't allowed to use the living room furniture,she

decided to ask minho to sit in her room.

"so,this is where you live.."minho said,sitting on the couch.

"oh no oppa,please,don't sit there! let's go to my room." she nervously said.

"what?" minho asked,confused.

"Ah...I'll explain,just get up now.my room is there." she said,pulling minho's arm.

They entered the room.Minho stared ar all-around the weird room.it was almost empty.there were

just some old beddings and a wall wardrobe.

"sis,what's wrong? why like this? tell me now!" he commanded.

"well,oppa..."minhwa said,combing her hair with her fingers.

"he doesn't like me use his apartment furniture.it's not that he is a bad person.just bcause.."

she continued,trailing off.

"just because what minhwa?" minho furiously asked.

"the truth is...that he is a neatfreak.that's it." minhwa said.

"stop it! how can you bear with all this and not complain?" minho asked.

"I..just don't want to be a burden...to add more stress for him.and about my room,he has given

me money to buy what I want,but i just wasn't in the mood.believe me oppa." minhwa said.

"look at yourself! he is treating you like trash! you call this living?" minho yelled.

"where is your luggage?here?" minho asked,opening the wardrobe.

"w-what are you doing oppa?" minhwa asked, shocked by his actions.

"I'm packing your things.you're coming to live at my place with me." he replied.

"oppa,i know you're worried about me and i'm grateful.but I'm now a married woman.I'm kim

jaejoong's wife.I'm supposed to live at his place." minhwa said.

"and does that so-called kim jaejoong care about you? where has he been? has he even called

since he left? why do you have to live in a place you can't even use its funiture? I can't let

my precious little sister live in a place like this,and all alone. Is that understood?" minho

said,stating at minhwa's eyes.

"let's go" minho said,taking minhwa's wrist with one hand and the her luggage with his other

hand.


The ride in minho's car was really uncomfortable for minhwa.Minho had always cared for her,but

she had never been in such situations to rely on him.
she felt useless. ' I'm a burden for everyone.even to my busy brother.I feel sorry to him.' she

thought,sighing.

They finally arrived at minho's place.it was a two-bedroom apartment.minho led her to the guest

room which was decorated perfectly.

"sis" he called.

minhwa turned around to face him: "nae"
 
"don't bother calling that man to tell him.I'll deal with him about this.arasso?" he said.

"nae,oppa." she repiled.

"I have to go now.I have an interview recording.please cook your famous kimchi stew for me.will<
