Chapter Twenty-Six ; The two choices

Four months later

Minhwa smiled as she softly patted her small baby bump while waiting for her turn to take a test in the doctor's office in the hospital. a DNA test.
soon,she was done and the old doctor informed her that the results will be out in one week. she bowed as she thanked the doctor and left the hospital taking a taxi and going back home.

Jaejoong had been good to her for the past four months,like usual,having dinners with her,and randomly taking her out for a walk or something. things had been somehow awkward,though. fortunately, Jaejoong was wise enough not to bring up his
uncertainty about being the baby's father to make the things more awkward than it was.

once she arrived home she immediately changed her clothes to some comfortable ones and laid down on her bed. she sighed softly, her hand carassing her belly.
"aegi-ah, just wait one more week, okay? your appa will love you so much, i promise." she whispered to the baby as she smiled faintly.


hearing some voices in the house,her eyes flickered open as she woke up from her little nap. she blinked as she tried to listen to the muffled male voices. she heard some greetings. she listened more carefully as she tip-toed to the door and pressed her ear on it. she heard familiar voices. yoochun and junsu. and the manager. Jaejoong had finally made peace with yoochun. it wasn't like he had any other close friends he could talk to.

" Jaejoong, we have to do something about this picture paparazzis took."

"they want to know your relationship with her. and who she is."

"what should i do? we can just say it wasn't me,something like that."

"but it's obvious hyung. your face can be clearly recognized, though her face can't be seen well."

"can't we say it is photoshopped?"

"no, this is definitely not photoshopped. they can't be fooled like this. they're professionals."

"damn it... how could they even capture this?"

"you should've been more careful,you know."

"i know,i know."

"you have two choices." the manager explained. "one is that you deny any relationship with her, divorce her, and then she will disappear silently."  

minhwa's heart dropped. *how can they be so cruel? i have his baby growing inside of me.*

"the second one is...." the manger spoke up again,  " that you reveal your secret marriage to the public, and stay with her. but,that will risk your career,jaejoong. i'm serious about it.  It'll destroy your singing career over one night."


"we'll leave now. you have a few days to think about it, man.  talk to your wife too. i believe in you. stay strong."

soon, the sound of closi
