Chapter Forty-Two ; Worried

After putting Jihoon to sleep, Minhwa walked to their bedroom, opening the door as quietly as possible to surprise him. But after opening the door, she decided not to as she saw her husband sitting in silence on a chair next to the wide window, staring into space. Her heart clenched in guilt as she heard him sigh softly.

Slowly, she went closer to him, wrapping her arms around his neck from behind, putting her chin on top of his head. Minhwa saw Jaejoong smile from his reflection on the window, and he held Minhwa's hands which were around his neck, and squeezed them assuringly.

"Jaejoong, what's wrong?" Minhwa asked, keeping her eyes on her husband's reflection on the window.

"Nothing, darling. Why are you asking?" Jaejoong smiled softly, tugging on her hands. "Is it because of your career? What did the fans say this time?" Minhwa sighed, and unwrapped her arms from his neck. She walked to his front, looking at him sadly, "I'm sorry. It's all my fault. Only if I hadn't come to your life, your life wouldn't be like this right now."

She turned around, ready to walk away, but she was pulled quickly to his lap before she could even take a step.

"What are---" Her words were muffled by his lips in hers, kissing her deeply.

"Jaejoong, I --"

" Shhhh.." He silenced her by putting his index finger on her plump lips. "Don't say anything about that anymore. It was my own decision and I'll handle it. " He said seriously.

"But what do I do? I keep worrying about you." She mumbled, playing with collar of his shirt.

"I admit, it's really stressful. In fact, I'm mostly worried about Junsu and Yoochun. But I believe they are going to be fine without me." He tightened his hold on her, pulling her closer with his hand on her back. "But, you don't need to worry because I'm happy when I am with you. All you need to do is to be good to me." He grinned, his eyes sparkling.

"How?" Minhwa asked innocently, nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck.

"Shall we start with some activities... On the bed?" He smirked mischievously.

Instantly, he was smacked on the arm by his blushing wife, "Yah! You ert!"
