Chapter Thirty-Nine ; My Home

Jaejoong opened the door for Anna who walked in with a sleeping Jihoon in her arms. She noticed Jaejoong gazing softly at his son and smiled softly.

She glanced up at him briefly. "Do you want to hold him?" She offered.

Nodding quickly, Jaejoong stepped closer to take Jihoon in his arms. Smiling, Anna passed the baby to his father. It was such a lovely sight. Jaejoong holding the baby close to him so livingly that brought tears to her eyes.

Soon, Jaejoong and Anna walked to the kitchen where Minhwa was sitting at the kitchen table, waiting for them. she stood up as they walked into the kitchen. Anna went to her and gave her a friendly hug.

"Hi." Anna muttered, a little smirk forming on her lips. "Having good time with your husband."

"Oh, shut up you sly girl. How dare you betray me?" Minhwa faked hurt.

"Oh come on~!!" Anna laughed, smacking Minhwa playfully on the arm. " You should thank me by treating me to a nice dinner. Not only you, but both of you."

Both friends turned to look at Jaejoong who was too occupied with the baby to notice them. Or maybe he wasn't showing any reaction not to make them uncomfortable.

He was gazing at the sleeping baby lovingly, completely in daze.

"He must've wanted to hold his son for so long." Anna whispered. Hearing a sniffing sound, she looked back to Minhwa, who was trying to hold back the tears from falling. Glancing back to Jaejoong, who seemed as much as overwhelmed as his wife, Anna knew that it was time to let them be alone.

"I need to leave now. my sister's waiting for me. I'll pay a visit tomorrow, okay? Take care." She said, flashing a warm smile to Minhwa.

"Oh? So soon? At least have a cup pf tea before you leave."

Jaejoong who was now aware of their conversation agreed. "Yeah. I made tea. There's fruit too."

"No thank you. That's fine, my sister wants to have dinner with me. I don't want to keep her waiting." Anna started walking to the door. "I put your suitcase beside the doo
