Clean folded clothes were placed beside the couch on the ground and Jaejoong was folding the rest while humming a song. Jihoon was playing with his toy car in his lying position on the mat beside his father. Jaejoong looked over to his son when he noticed the sounds he was making to get his attention.
He chuckled and picked up the baby, placing him on his lap.
"What is it, baby? Missing your mummy?" He spoke to the baby softly, who only nuzzled his face in his daddy's chest in response.
"Aw baby. Let's get this work done and then take a nap?"
Coming back home from work, Minhwa and Anna opened the door and the first thing that caught their attention was the smell of Korean food.
"Jaejoong has cooked chicken stew for lunch!" Anna exclaimed, stepping inside.
Minhwa smiled. Her husband was doing too much for them. Being away from Korea, Jaejoong had nothing to do in that foreign country. So he would stay at home, take care of their baby and do house chores. No matter how much Minhwa told him to leave the housework for her and Anna to do, he wouldn't agree. And now, the folded clothes on the ground proved that once again he had done it.
She was placing her shoes away when she heard Anna walking silently back to her, grinning.
Minhwa frowned, "What--"
Not giving her any reply, Anna dragged her to the couch that had its back facing the door.
"Min, look."
Jaejoong was sleeping on the couch with the baby resting on his chest. Minhwa felt her heart warming at the scene. Never in her life she even dreamed of having such a sweet family.
She kneeled beside the couch, and slowly placed a small peck on the side of her husband's forehead.
Jaejoong blinked, and opened his eyes looking at her. "Ah, you're back?" He smiled.
"Yeah." She smiled back and picked the baby up from his chest. "I'll put Jihoon to his bed."
It was late at night when the married couple were cuddling on the couch, watching a romantic movie together. Jaejoong had his arm around Minhwa's waist, his thumb moving in a comforting manner while she was leaning on his shoulder. They had a warm blanket wrapped around both of them.
The wife was absorbed into the movie, but the husband was far from that. He only had his eyes on the movie, but he was deep in thought. Thinking about the first days they met. How wrongly he used to think of her. How their marriage was. How-
He was snapped out of his thought when he heard his wife's dreamy sigh. glancing at her and back at screen, it made his heart hurt at the scene in the movie.
There stood a bride and groom at the altar. The man slowly s his arm around his bride's waist and leaned in. whispering a soft 'I love you' in her ear, he captured the bride's lips in a sweet chaste kiss. They parted, and smiled softly at each other.
Jaejoong sighed in regret. He knew girls dream of a perfect wedding with their prince charming since their childhood, and what he gave her was not anything near perfect. He mentally hit himself for being so cruel to her. Only if he could turn back time...
"Jaejoong?" he heard her softly whisper.
