Huh, it’s just a dream…

My name is Stephanie Hwang but a lot of my friends here in the states called me Tiffany. But when I was young they called me as Miyoung that’s my Korean name.

16 years ago an event changes my life…

--Flashback—

16 years ago…

We just move in at this neighborhood so I don’t have friends yet

“Miyoung-ah why don’t you go out and play with some kids outside”

“Yes Dad”

I’m living with my dad.. He works for a big company here in Korea..

My mom died after giving birth to me, so my dad is the only one that raise me..

I went outside few blocks from my house is a park…

I saw some kids playing… There playing with toy guns… like polices and robbers

BOYS…

I was looking at them…

Then one of them looked at me… That kid is wearing oversize dirty clothes…

“Hey, Kid what’s your name?”

“Miyoung”

 “Do you want to play?” the kid said

“Young what are you doing let’s play now”

So this kid name is Young

I just nodded and went play with them …

“I have a perfect role for you”

The kid smile… a devilish smile…

They tied me

“You are our Hostage”

I just cry….

“Let me go…!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh”

Not the best first meeting ever

“You’re no fun I’ll untie you” Young said

“Let’s play Hide and Seek” the other kid suggest

I saw a perfect place to hide I climb to the roof of the public restroom

I saw Young was there and we hide together, our playmates can’t find us.

“Hey, Miyoung”

“Yeah”

“Is it true you don’t have a mother?”

“Yes that’s right”

“hmmm I see, You know what I don’t have a mother or Father either…Guess we’re the same”

Young is just smiling at me..

We’re the same??

It’s time to go home and we walk together home..

“You live two house from my house?? that big mansion?” I said

“It’s just a house but it’s only my grandmother and me leaves there”

Yeah He’s parents are died already

“Young, what happened to your parents?”

“My grandma told me they died in an accident and I’m the only one survive”

“My mom died giving birth to me”

“We’ll I guess we’re really the same Miyoung”

After that we become bestfriend

We always play and he protects me when someone is bullying me…

But one day

My dad got promoted and his company wants to transfer him to the states…

“We’re moving again?”

“Miyoung, this is the last one.. they promise me that we will settle in the States”

“Dad, I don’t want to leave.. I like it here”

I run out…

“Young, I’m leaving..”

“Where are you going? And till when?”

“We are moving to the States and we will stay there”

“You’re not gonna come back?”

“I don’t know..”

After that I didn’t saw Young for days

The day we are leaving we are in the car on the way to the airport…

“Miyoung, wait stop the car…”

He’s running and chasing the car …

The car stop and I opened the window

“Miyoung Promise me you will come back here and see me again…” Young gave me a bracelet

“Yes, Young I will.. Take this ring… don’t lose it”…

That’s the last time I saw him…

He is my First Love…

I wonder what he is doing now…  thinking while looking at the bracelet he gave me..

I tried writing a letter to him but I heard that they moved already and no one knows where they moved…

I think he grew up as cute guy…

“Stephanie, you’re there?”

“Yes, dad I’m here come in”

“I have a surprise for you”

“What’s that dad? New phone?”

“Nope”

“New  tab?”

“No”

“What is that don’t tell me it’s a car?”

“No Stephanie why are you thinking like that?”

“Just say what it is?”

“You told me you want to be a singer right?”

“Yes and?”

“Well, your great father send an application in a prestige University  for performing arts and theater and you pass..”

“Really dad and where is it?”

“It’s So Nyeo Si DAe University in Seoul”

“Are you serious dad?????”

“Yes, I am… Here’s your registration form and plane ticket your leaving a week from now.. but it’s a boarding school I tried finding you a place but they won’t allow it”

“It’s alright dad.. thank you so much dad”

I hugged him…

I’m so happy… I’m going back to Seoul..

Dad saw the bracelet that Young gave me

“Are you still thinking about that kid Young?”

“Ah,.. Dad…”

“You don’t need to be shy… ow my princess grew up already”

I have a chance to see Young again…

Hopefully but I can look for him…

Does he still remember me… or he forget about already…???

I’m so excited…

After a week

I’m in Seoul already…

I went to my dorm to see my room.. good thing I don’t have a roommate..

This school is so big… I walked around and I saw some people  gathering up

“What’s going on here?” I asked

“The only daughter of the owner of this school is gonna be a freshmen this year… we’re waiting for her

We heard she’s so pretty kinda like an idol..” one girl said

“She’s not just pretty; she’s smart and talented… She can act, dance, model, sing and play an instrument” the other one said

“Of course She’s Choi Sooyoung” other one said again…

Wow how intriguing… So I’ll wait for her to arrive too…

“Yes, she is amazing” one guy just said..

“Who are they?” I asked

“They are Choi Sooyoung’s fan club … They called themselves as Sooyoungsters”

She has a fan club already… wow she’s pretty popular aren’t she..

“She’s here” one yelled

And everyone are just being excited and start pushing each other…

I was pushed in front… I didn’t know how that happened but I was in front of the line..

There’s a lot of guards came… wow looks like a celebrity is coming…

A black big limousine part infront and everyone is cheering…

When the car’s door opens everyone is anticipating to see her face…

Then she came out and…

“Wow”

She’s so pretty looks like an angel that came down to earth…

Everyone is mesmerized on her…

Then someone pushed me and I was out of the line… I bump into her…

Wahhhhhhhhhh

Everyone is looking at me… the guards are starting to get me

“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to… are you alright.?”

The guards grabbed me…

She looks at me… then

She keeps walking and says

“Let her go”

The guards let me go and they followed her…

Her eyes… I can see sadness on those eyes…
