Chapter 6
Because Of YouThe two walked in and saw Leeteuk talking to someone.
"Hyung!" Donghae called and ran to the man.
The man turned and smiled when he saw Donghae, "Donghae, how have you been?"
"I've been good Kangin Hyung."
"That's good to hear." Kangin said.
"Eunhyuk, I'd like you to meet my boyfriend, Kangin." Leeteuk said.
Eunhyuk nodded.
"You a friend of Donghae's?" Kangin asked.
Eunhyuk shrugged.
"Hae found him on the streets." Leeteuk explained.
"Oh…" Kangin said.
"So, Eunhyuk, how you like it here?" Kangin asked.
Eunhyuk shrugged.
"Don't talk much, do ya?" Kangin said and chuckled.
Kangin turned to Leeteuk, "How long is he staying here?"
"Dunno." Leeteuk said.
Kangin nodded.
Eunhyuk walked away.
An hour later, Donghae walked to Eunhyuk's room. He walked in and poked Eunhyuk.
"What?" Eunhyuk asked, his voice loud and cold.
"Hyukkie, are you okay?" Donghae asked.
"Don't call me Hyukkie." Eunhyuk said, "And I'm fine."
"Sorry… Leeteuk told me to ask you if you wanted lunch." Donghae said.
"I'm fine." Eunhyuk replied.
"Okay." Donghae said and walked out.
Eunhyuk went to his bed and laid down.
'I can't stand that guy… He's so cheery it's sick. I have GOT to get out of this place…' Eunhyuk thought to himself. He stayed in his room planning an escape plan.
A few hours later, Eunhyuk was finishing packing his backpack.
"Eunhyuk! Donghae! Dinner!" Leeteuk called.
Eunhyuk sighed and went to the dining room. He sat and they all ate.
"Hyung! This is really good!" Donghae said.
"Thank you." Leeteuk said.
Eunhyuk ate in silence.
"Kangin Hyung, how long are you going to be here?" Donghae asked.
"I'll be here for about a week. My boss let me go on vacation." Kangin said.
"Okay." Donghae said.
Kangin nodded as he ate.
Donghae turned to Eunhyuk, "Are you okay?"
Eunhyuk looked at Donghae. He was quiet for a moment, trying to decide if he should fake being nice or not.
Eunhyuk decided to smile, "I'm fine." Eunhyuk said.
"Are you sure? You seem-" Donghae started but was interrupted.
"I'm fine!" Eunhyuk said louder.
Donghae looked away, "Sorry…"
Eunhyuk got up, "I'm done. Thanks for the meal." He said as he picked up his dishes. He put the dishes in the sink and walked to his room.
Eunhyuk shut his door and sat on his bed. He pulled out a book.
After half an hour, Eunhyuk heard footsteps. He looked at the clock and saw it was only 8:00pm. He sighed and pulled out his cell phone from his pocket. 1 new message
Eunhyuk opened it.
To Hyukkie
From Sora
WHERE ARE YOU?!
Eunhyuk read the message. His sister was worried. He pushed the reply button and was about to type something but he stopped himself. He shouldn't tell her. She'll just bring him back to the place he tried to get away from. Eunhyuk set his phone down on the nightstand and rolled over so he was facing the door.
After hours of waiting, Eunhyuk got up from his bed, put on his backpack and opened his window. He climbed out and jumped onto the lawn. He started to run.
Eunhyuk's bedroom door swung open and Donghae walked in.
"Oh. Where'd he go?" Donghae said. He scanned the room. He stopped when he saw the open window.
"Hyukkie's gone!" Donghae yelled. He ran into the room. He noticed Eunhyuk's phone on the nightstand. He picked it up.
Leeteuk came running, Kangin following closely behind.
"I heard you yell. What happened?!" Leeteuk asked.
"Eunhyuk… He left…" Donghae said and pointed at the open window.
"Well, he'll have to back. That is, if he wants his phone back." Kangin said.
Donghae nodded. He slipped the phone his pocket and the three walked out of the room, shutting the door behind them.
