Chapter 13
Because Of YouDonghae burst through the door as soon as Eunhyuk took off his shirt to get dressed.
"Hyukkie!" Donghae said, a huge smile on his face.
"Huh?" Eunhyuk asked. He quickly covered his stomach but Donghae already saw.
Donghae's smiled into a frown.
"Were those bruises?" Donghae asked, coming closer.
"N-No." Eunhyuk answered.
Donghae lowered the shirt that Eunhyuk was using to hide his stomach with. Donghae looked at the wounds.
"They're bruises," Donghae said, touching them gently, "What happened?"
"Oh, just something in gym." Eunhyuk lied.
"Was it the dodgeball?" Donghae asked.
"Yeah! It was that!" Eunhyuk said, putting his shirt on.
Donghae looked at the clock, "We better get going. Get dressed quicker." He said then left the room.
Eunhyuk got dressed, brushed his teeth then rushed downstairs.
"Come on, Hyukkie! Eat this while we walk." Donghae said and threw an apple to Eunhyuk.
He caught the apple and bit into it as he put on his shoes.
The two arrived at school. A pretty girl with short black hair approached them.
"Hi Eunhyuk." She greeted, "Hi Donghae."
"Hi JiEun." Donghae said. Eunhyuk nodded at the girl.
"Um, Eunhyuk, I was wondering if you would go out with me this weekend." JiEun said.
"Sorry, I can't. I'm busy." Eunhyuk replied. He was trying to sound nice, but you tell it sounded a bit forced.
"Oh, okay. Maybe some other time then?"
"Maybe." Eunhyuk replied then walked into the school.
Donghae followed.
"Why'd you turn down JiEun?" Donghae asked, looking back at the sad teenage girl.
"I…" Eunhyuk stopped, he wasn't going to tell Donghae he didn't believe in love. So he'd say something else instead. "She's not my type."
"What is your type?" Donghae asked, curious now.
Eunhyuk walked to his locker, pretending he didn't hear the question.
"Hey, after school wanna go to this arcade I saw yesterday?" Donghae asked. Eunhyuk shrugged. Donghae took that as a yes.
Classes went by and soon it was lunch.
"Kyu! Wanna go to an arcade with us after school?" Donghae asked.
"Sure." Kyuhyun replied, taking a sip of his drink.
Kyuhyun's phone buzzed.
"You should hide that, before it gets taken away." Donghae suggested.
"Fine." Kyuhyun mumbled. He texted the person back then put the phone away.
"Who were texting anyway?" Donghae asked.
"That Sungmin guy." Kyuhyun replied with a shrug.
Eunhyuk raised an eyebrow.
"Seems like you two are getting close." Donghae said with a smile.
"I guess."
Eunhyuk got up and threw away his trash.
As he was walking back to the table, a girl stopped him.
"Um… Do you, uh, will you go out with me this weekend?" A girl asked.
"Sorry, I'm busy." Eunhyuk replied.
"O-Oh, okay, maybe another time…" She said, clearly disappointed.
Eunhyuk walked away.
"What did she want?" Donghae asked as Eunhyuk sat down.
"She just asked me out." Eunhyuk shrugged.
"What'd you say?" Donghae asked.
"I rejected her."
"Not your type, again?"
Eunhyuk nodded slightly.
The bell rang and Eunhyuk got up. He walked to class alone.
During class, Eunhyuk stared out the window. Looking at the clouds. He sighed to himself.
The bell rang.
"And remember! The paper will be due Tuesday!" Their teacher said. People started leaving. Donghae and Kyuhyun walked up to Eunhyuk.
"Let's go!" Donghae said and put an arm around Eunhyuk.
