An Offcial Date (Part 2 of 4) [Seeing and old Friend]

Along for the ride

"We're going... shopping," I asked quizzically.

After eating Jiyong drove me to one of the most expensive shopping districts Korea had to offer. I really don't know what I was expecting when Jiyong planned on brining me on a 'date'. Not that I didn't love fashion, but I didn't find it particularly romantic.

"Yes," he said before taking my hand into his as we walked down the strip. I wandered what we looked like to the people passing by. A handsome and fashionable young man walking hand-in-hand with a short lady in a pencil skirt and blazer. A business woman and fashion designer. A unique pair. Maybe I was jumping to conclusions. Who said just because he decided to take me on a date that he we're a pair? He could very well be playing on of his mind games right now.

Just then Jiyong stopped abruptly. I stopped when I noticed he wasn't walking along.

"Here," he said simply before he turned into the shop, pulling me in behind him. The place was high end. The inside decor was all black and red with slight accents of white. The clothing was primarily those colors as well. I could have sworn I've been here before. It's entirely possible being that I occasional had to make runs to certain fashion boutiques to check out some of their clothes. But each time I did I was always in and out in a flash, barley remembering the boutique's name.

"Hello, welcome to Moi's Closet how may I help you," a young woman said as she quickly approached us. The woman wore a strapless black pencil dress with blood red heels. I looked at the golden name tag on her chest. Hyomin. She looked way too good to work at a boutique, high end or not. I was always looking for new models. Maybe I should ask if she-

"Yes my girlfriend here is in need of a new wardrobe," Jiyong said while his eyes seemed to scan the store. Wait a minuet. Did Jiyong just introduce me as his girlfriend? I looked at him with wide eyes only to see him still scanning the racks of clothing. Hyomin looked at me and smiled brightly.

"You're really lucky. I wish my boyfriend took me out to go shopping," she said, elbowing me playfully. I could only smile back. I was still shocked Jiyong called me his girlfriend.

"You don't need to go shopping. You practically get everything here for free," a handsome looking young man standing my the cash register said. His hair was bleached blonde and seemed to cover half of his face. He wore a white button up shirt and matching white dress pants. His loose black tie and black shoes popping against his bright attire. I couldn't help but to notice he was the only employee wearing white and also the only one without a name tag.

Hyomin rolled her eyes but had a smile on her face all the while. The man came up and wrapped his arm around Hyomin's waste and smiled at us. His eyes seemed to smile as well as he did so.

"This is my boss and boyfriend Kang Daesung," Hyomin said proudly.

"Yep that's me," he said before pulling Hyomin closer to him.

Then I finally realized why this place seemed so familiar.

"Kang Daesung," I asked. "The Kang Daesung?"

Hyomin, Daesung, and Jiyong looked at me strangely. Daesung laughed nervously.

"Well, I'm the only Kang Daesung I know-," he began. I quickly cut him off.

"You don't remember me? We went to the fashion school together. I was the girl who quit after only a week," I went on. I noticed Daesung's eyes widen I recognition.

"Ah! I remember you! You're the girl who had the panic attack. Your hair was longer then and less... blonde."

"I could say the same for you."

Jiyong seemed to get bored of the conversation and walked over to one of the racks and started flipping trough them, Hyomin following behind to assist him. Daesung and I were particularly close in that one week I attended fashion school. Everyone there seemed to want to be designers while me and Daesung just wanted to do everything related to fashion other than the actual designing. I wanted to make fashion magazines and Daesung wanted to open boutiques. He had sketched out a plan of what he wanted his first boutique to look like. And this place looked exactly like that sketch.

I remember how surprised I was to see someone like Daesung at fashion school. All the other guys there seemed more feminine or metroual whereas Daesung was a long time athlete. Not to mention I was the short, quirky, loud mouthed girl who didn't really fit in with the tall slim artistic ones. Though we never fit into your average stereotype for fashion lovers, we both loved fashion nonetheless. And because of that we became short lived best friends. In that week before I quit I experienced what seemed like a lifetime of friendship. The last time I ever saw him is when I finally broke down in the middle of class and stormed out without looking back. I always wandered what happened to him... and I guess now I know.

"Wow," I said. "So it looks like you got the boutique you always wanted."

Daesung smiled and nodded. But that's Daesung for you, always smiling.

"Yeah," he said before turning and looking as Jiyong hastily threw outfit after outfit into Hyomin's delicate arms.

"And I guess you're dating the infamous Kwon Jiyong," he said before turning back to me. I couldn't help but to blush. I keep forgetting Jiyong was kind of the Justin Bieber of the fashion industry right now. Of course Daesung would know about him. In our one week of friendship I told him about my childhood friend Jiyong. I wonder if Daesung knew that that Jiyong is this Jiyong.

"Not exactly. I don't quite know what we are... its-"

"Complicated," Daesung asked, completing my sentence. I smiled. Daesung did always seem to know what I was going to say.

"Sunny," Jiyong called from the other side of the boutique. I turned my attention back to Jiyong. He looked at me with expecting eyes and gestured towards the living shopping bag that is Hyomin. "I need you to try these on."

"Coming," I said back. I turned back to Daesung and smiled. "We should catch up soon. What do you say?"

Daesung smiled back. "I'd like that."

I smiled at him one last time and rushed towards Jiyong and Hyomin. Little did I know as soon as I left, Daesung called a friend. Daesung hesitantly pulled his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number.

"Hey. She's here with Kwon Jiyong... they probably won't be here long. Don't make me regret helping you Choi Seunghyun."

(A/N: OOOOH! JUST GOT REAL! Lol this must be one of my worst chapters ever. Even I was like 'wtf' when I was typing this up. I added Daesung and Hyomin for a reason. they're going to appear a bit more in the story. I really like Chaerin (CL) and Victoria's characters and want to write more chapters with them in it. If you guys wanted to see more Tiffany from like 2 chapters before you'll be disappointed. Tiff wont appear much in this story.... like at all. I'm defiantly going to add more TOP. I know TOP's supposed to be the creepy guy but I loooove his character and want to write about him a bit more. Next chapter will be better I promise!(Oh and I didn't forget about Sooyoung and Jessica) Decided to make Hyomin Daesung's girlfriend because I've been slowly becoming a T-ara fan. Scandal aside, their songs are infectuous)

This is literally one of my top 3 Sunny fics. You have to continue it or I will die from lack of Sunshine. Also your version of GD is amazing since he isn'the extreme in certain things. Like some people extreme his party/smoking habits or extreme his actual level of talent. You keep in at a good spot that could easily be seen as legit.

Im curious about what Daesung told to Sunny. seunghyun is kinda misterious and creepy, despite hid gorgeous look ofc. Jiyoung should clear the things out for them.
