An Offcial Date (Part 3 of 4) [I'm His]

Along for the ride

By the time we left Daesung's boutique Jiyong was carrying and arm load of bags. I had insisted on carrying some but he, of course, insisted on it. He then decided to sit them in the car instead. We were walking aimlessly down the shopping strip now. I watched as people passed us by and noted how pretty many of the girls were. Out of all the girls that Jiyong could have had, why choose me? Not that I'm complaining of course. I was just so short and not skinny. Nothing about me was excessively pretty. That and my hair style I had now made me look like an feminine, elfin, pre-pubescent boy.

But Jiyong confused me anyway. He always has. When we we're kids he'd do things for no reason and never bothered to explain why. His eyes always seemed to be off and distant yet playful at the same time. Now they were unreadable and unemotional almost. I always dismissed him as a reckless; mischievous boy. I sometimes enjoyed watching him and Sooyoung heads. While he seemed cold and unreasonable, Sooyoung was bold and headstrong. After an argument Sooyoung would often storm off in anger as Jiyong smirked in victory.

How Jiyong and I became close was everyone's question. Unlike him I was caring and earnest. I always had things planned out and had an explanation for everything. Jiyong was always the kid who came, threw away my well thought out plans, and pushed me into the unknown. I always used to get into trouble because of him. Every time I told him what he was doing was a bad idea, he'd always say, "Relax" and I would stupidly trust him.

Now here we are years later. Jiyong, a up-and-coming superstar fashion designer. And me, a fashion magazine mogul. Both of us on our first date with each other. That day at Starbucks was not forgotten though. Every time Jiyong so much as looked at me I remember his fingers pumping into me mercilessly. What he did that day was wreckless and without reason. He hadn't changed much at all.

"So he was your friend," Jiyong finally said after minuets of us walking in silence. I turned to look at him. His eyes were trained strait ahead as if concentrating on something.

"Yeah. We were close in fashion school," I explained. Jiyong just nodded absently. We continued walking for what seemed like hours until we stopped at a cafe. He stopped at one of the outside tables and sat down. I followed his lead and sat down on the other side of the table. We just sat there for a long time and looked aimlessly at the people walking by.

"You know," he said. "I never really saw myself as the designer type."

No . Neither did I. But I kept that bit to myself.

"You were always the one into fashion. When we were younger I didn't know what I wanted to be. Every other little kid wanted to be a fireman, doctor, astronaut. When someone asked me I always said 'nothing'. It wasn't until got older did I decide to be a designer. When you would force me to sit through those mini fashion shows you'd put on I always paid attention. I may have seemed like I didn't but I did, and I liked it. I would have probably never discovered my talent if it wasn't for you."

Well . What was I supposed to say to that? Jiyong just basically told me I was the reason for finding his calling in life and all I could do was sit there like a bump on a log.

"You're welcome," I finally said. Wow, way to go Soonkyu.

Jiyong just looked at me and smiled. Not one of those y sideways smirks he's been using now-a-days but a genuine smile. I couldn't help but to smile back. I noticed his hand slide across the table and hold mine. I knew I probably blushed like an idiot but I didn't care. He stared at me intently for what seemed like forever. Damn those eyes of his. They made my mind go to the gutter, no doubt ruining the fluffy feeling I had just a few seconds ago.

He brought my hand up to his lips and kissed it. But it was different from that night at Little Italy. His lips seemed to linger, scorching my skin with his kiss. It seemed more intent, more meaningful. His eyes never left mine as he did so. I couldn't help but to gulp nervously as my mind fell deeper and deeper into the gutter. Once again thinking things of my childhood friend that I shouldn't.

"Well, what a pleasant surprise," a deep voice said. A shadow casting over our table as the figure loomed above us. I looked up only to be eye to eye with none other than Choi Seunghyun. Jiyong looked up too, his lips leaving my hand.

"What are you doing here," I asked coldly. Seunghyun smirked and ran his hand along my jaw line.

"Don't be like that," he purred. His deep voice lowered in a tone that would make any girl quiver. Any girl except for me.

I pushed his hand away. Before I had a chance to reply Jiyong stood up and held out his hand.

"I don't believe we have met. I'm Kwon Jiyong, Sunny's boyfriend," he said in a friendly tone, though his eyes looked as cold as ice.

Seunghyun's eyes widened in shock before he turned back into his normal self and let out a low chuckle.

"Sunny huh? Well I'm Choi Seunghyun, Soonkyu's boyfriend," he said shaking Jiyong's hand firmly, returning Jiyong's icy stare. "But Sunny's a cute nickname."

I shook my head in disbelief of what was happening right now. Neither of them were my boyfriends. And I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly offended they were claiming me as theirs like a piece of furniture they were fighting over.

"We'll it was nice meeting you Sunny's other boyfriend. But it seems Sunny and I have to leave now," Jiyong said icily, his voice no longer coated in faux friendliness. In some weird way Jiyong's coldness seemed to . I may not like being claimed but he was so irresistibly y right now.

"I don't think so. I think Soonkyu would rather leave with her better boyfriend. Right," Seunhyun said before turning to me. A slight smirk still on his lips.

"No actually," I said matter-of-factly. Seunhyun frowned angrily as Jiyong smirked victoriously. I stood up as Jiyong took my hand into his. Just as we started to walk away Seunghyun grabbed my arm firmly.

"You'll pay for this later," he whispered huskily. His voice sent shivers down my back. What the was that supposed to mean? He finally let go of me, sending Jiyong and I on our merry way.

As we walked down the sidewalk I turned back to see if Seunghyun was still there. Sure enough he stood just where he was before, his eyes still on me.

"What did he say to you," Jiyong said once we we're out of eyesight. I wanted to tell him, but I didn't want him to worry. The last thing I wanted was for Jiyong to need to feel like he needed to protect me.

"It was nothing," I said. He didn't pry after that.

Once we made it back to his car we sat down in silence.

"Your mine. Okay," he said. He didn't say it in a menacing possessive way Seunghyun would have, but more like a teacher teaching a child the alphabet. Though my inner self wanted to say, "I'm not a ing dog you cant own me", he was looking at me with those eyes of his. I bit my lip and nodded. He smirked.

  "Good."

This is literally one of my top 3 Sunny fics. You have to continue it or I will die from lack of Sunshine. Also your version of GD is amazing since he isn'the extreme in certain things. Like some people extreme his party/smoking habits or extreme his actual level of talent. You keep in at a good spot that could easily be seen as legit.

Im curious about what Daesung told to Sunny. seunghyun is kinda misterious and creepy, despite hid gorgeous look ofc. Jiyoung should clear the things out for them.
What happened with Hyuna hyunseung ? I dont really understand what Sooyoung said, but i shipped them and has this imagination of them too kekeke~
