“Girl come on we’re going to be late!” my sister griped at me when I was still changing.

My best friend raised an eyebrow at my sister. “And how are we going to be late? The park closes at midnight.”

“You know how long the lines to get in are?” my younger sister complained.

“We have the tickets already. Remember?”

“But I want to be there when the park opens so we don’t have to wait in line to ride the best rides!”

The two bickered for a good minute until I put my round glasses on and narrowed my eyes. “Gwen!” I snapped at my sister who plopped on one of the beds frustrated, my best friend Jane trying hard not to laugh, “Disneyland’s not going anywhere.” I grabbed the bag with our wallets, jackets, and unmentionables, and walked toward the door. Noticing the others not moving, I turned and smirked. “We can go now.”

Gwen shot up from her seat and swung the front door of the hotel open. “Finally!”

Jane rolled her eyes and smiled. “Hey Gwen aren’t you forgetting something?” She hung Gwen’s car keys by her index finger.

“Oops! Thanks a bunch!” Gwen excitedly said.

We giggled with much excitement as we headed out the door and into the small Honda.

In the car, Gwen was driving and texting our mother at the same time, while Jane was putting her hair up in a messy ponytail.

I decided to listen to my iPod because I cannot be or go anywhere with complete silence. The first song playing through my Mickey Mouse earbuds made me smile and close my eyes, tapping to the rhythm and mouthing the words. I watched the music video to the song in my head, but was interrupted by a nudge on my shoulder. Taking an earbud out, I looked at my sister. “Yes?”

“Whatcha listening to?” Gwen asked curiously, Jane’s attention on her cell phone.

I giggled. “EXO.”

Jane popped her head up as Gwen yanked my iPod out of my hands, both yelling, “Listen please!”

While my sister ripped my earbuds out from my iPod and plugged said iPod into the car radio with a cable, I grunted as I rubbed my ears which were throbbing a little. Gwen quickly restarted the song, squealing a bit.

Jane bobbed her head to the beat. “Angel by EXO-K!”

EXO was without a doubt our favorite K-pop group, and we’re not even Korean or Chinese! Jane is Caucasian and is the one who introduced me to the world of K-pop which I then told Gwen about.

Once the song was over, we arrived at Disneyland. Giving me my iPod back, the three of us exited the car and started to walk through the parking lot, not knowing what was in store for us.
