Peter Pan and Tinkerbell

My Fate At Disneyland

DATE?! My mind almost exploded by my inner screaming. “D-D-Date?” I repeated aloud as calmly as possible.

“Yup,” Xiumin continued to smile, still dragging me along, “so let’s go!”

“But you still haven’t said where you’re taking me.”

“Oh yeah. About that.” he halted our steps in the middle of the huge cemented walkway, “I have no idea.”

Shaking my head in disbelief, “So you kidnapped me?”

“It’s supposed to feel more like a date.” Xiumin frowned a bit, but soon smiled. “Besides, I want to spend some time with you without the others around, especially Joonmyun if I tried doing anything to you.” Puffing his cheeks, “Is that so much to ask?”

Sighing, “I guess not.” I began to notice a crowd forming around us, some simply staring and pointing in awe and curiosity while others took pictures and squealed, immediately assuming they were fangirls by the way they were squealing. Clearing my throat as I shyly hung my head low, “M-Maybe we should think of somewhere to go soon before we get more of your fangirls eyeing us.”

“Huh?” he tilted his head, eyes darting around, “Oh… Any suggestions? You probably know more than I do on where to go.”

I quickly spotted the Disney Animation building, smiling while pointing. “What about there?”

Xiumin’s eyes suddenly lit up, grinning as he once again pulled me with him, glancing at the Once Upon A Time… writing on the wall as we walked in.

Once inside, I could not help but smile at Xiumin’s reaction. “Wooooooow.” he let go of my hand and wandered toward the middle of the incredibly spacious room with surprisingly not that many people around. His eyes looked upon every widescreen television of various sizes randomly scattered and covering all the walls, jaw dropped in awe, the music of Rhapsody in Blue from Fantasia 2000 playing. Ecstatic, he turned to face me, throwing his arms in the air. “This is amazing!” Xiumin shouted.

Moving to him, I chuckled. “It gets better.”

Xiumin wrapped his arms around me, gazing into my eyes, smiling. “Can’t wait.”

Gulping, I nervously pried myself from him. “O-Onward!” I awkwardly marched to the Sorcerer’s Workshop, hearing the other chuckling while following.

With no one in the first part of the workshop, it allowed Xiumin to make an adorable fool out of himself as he excitedly jumped around while exploring. Engraved pictures of familiar Disney characters littered the walls, spinning cylinders placed atop pedestals in the room, wooden tables with pieces of wide blank sheets of paper and pencils on either side of each other, different colored lamps hanging from the ceiling, a huge oval mirror at the end of said room.

“What is this place?” Xiumin questioned, returning to where I stood, calming down a bit.

“The Magic Mirror Realm.” I explained, “There are still images inside the spinning cylinders with mirrors, showing you that it tricks the human eye into thinking said images are moving. You can also draw still images of anything like a person jumping or a flower blooming and put it into an empty cylinder.”

“That’s really cool!” the other beamed.

Hastily searching for an example, I fortunately found one near the entrance, gesturing for Xiumin to look inside. “Here.” It was Sorcerer Mickey casting a spell. “Go ahead and spin it.”

Without hesitation he did what he was told, watching astonished as Mickey came to life. Bolting to one of the wooden tables, “I want to try!”

Just then there was a loud noise, facing the mirror which showed animated flames followed by the Magic Mirror himself. I heard a squeak, feeling Xiumin link arms with me as he stared wide-eyed at the mirror. Magic mirror spoke about characters from A to Z and personalities.

“What did he say?” Xiumin asked.

“He told us about the next room.”

“Next room?” Xiumin blinked twice, stunned, “You mean there’s MORE?”

“Of course.” I giggled, yanking him as I walked, “Now let’s go.”

The next room was Beast’s Library, definitely nicer and crowded than in the previous room. It was bright with books surrounding, a portrait of Beast in human form hanging above the fireplace, a single rose in a glass case sitting atop said fireplace. There were also red seats in front of interactive books placed against the walls, leaving some empty space in the middle. I hastily spotted an empty seat in the far right corner, pulling Xiumin into it.

Tilting his head at the book in front of him, Xiumin, “What’s this?”

“It’s basically a questionnaire on what Disney character you are based on your personality.” Snickering, “I was Nala from The Lion King last time.”

“Oh I see.” Xiumin nodded in understanding.

Lumiere appeared before our very eyes in the book, acting as our guide, reading each question and answer aloud. The EXO-M member was first, me translating everything Lumiere elicited. When it was time to reveal, “Drum roll please!” he yelped, he and I drumming on our thighs while snickering. Then a picture of Peter Pan appeared. “Daebak!” he yelled, thrilled with his result as he gave the book a thumbs up.

HE WOULD BE PETER PAN. I thought, finding the character very fitting.

He suddenly grabbed my hand and pulled me onto his lap. “Y-Your t-t-turn.” he nervously stuttered.

“O-Okay.” I blushed, heart picking up its pace as I stayed seated on his lap. When I was finished, my result was surprising yet coincidental at the same time. I was Tinkerbell.

“Well look at that.” Xiumin laughed, “You’re Tinkerbell and I am Peter Pan. I guess it’s meant to be.”

All of a sudden we were startled by lightening, the lights flickering until it was dark, claw marks across the Beast’s portrait. The only lights resonated from the fireplace and the rose which a single petal fell from.

“You okay?” Xiumin smirked.

“What?” I did not realize I was holding onto Xiumin as if my life depended on it with my head buried in the crook of his neck. Hurriedly standing, I fiddled with my fingers as my head hung low. “I-I’m okay.”

Snickering, he slowly rose from his seat, gently holding my hands. “Shall we go TINK?”

“Tink?” I repeated.

“You don’t like it?”

“I do.” I admitted, “It’s cute.”

“Like you.” he grinned.

“Wh-What did you say?” I blushed.

“Nothing.” the other innocently whistled, winking soon after as we exited hand in hand.

We came to the last area called Ursula’s Grotto, the spacious room dark and looking like an undersea grotto, hence the name. Slowly but surely we approached one of the interactive machines in front of a screen, Ursula speaking through it.

“What do we do now?” Xiumin curiously raised an eyebrow.

“Voice acting.” I replied, “You can either talk or sing.”

There were four scenes to choose from; once being from Aladdin with Jafar and Iago, the second singing Hakuna Matata from The Lion King, and the third with Bambi, Flower, and Thumper, and the fourth Belle and Beast from Beauty and the Beast. “Hmm…” Xiumin pondered aloud for a moment, “Which one to choose…”

“What about Bambi?” I suggested, “I could do both Flower and Thumper’s voices, and you can be Bambi. All he says is ‘Flower. Pretty flower.’ at the end.”

“Sounds good to me!” Xiumin smiled with his eyes closed.

We first listened to the actual voice actors, and then it was our turn. Taking a deep breath, I read the words on the screen to the best of my abilities, trying to sound like the originals, ignoring the snorts and chuckles coming from the other. I nudged his arm when he was next, Xiumin quickly fixing his composure and carefully observing Bambi’s mouth.

Surprised and startled, instead of the EXO-M member using a cute and innocent voice, he was loud and roared like a lion, his accent heavy. “FLOWER! PRETTY FLOWER!” he roared. When he was finished he looked at me, shyly half-smiling. “Was that too much?”

Suddenly, I burst into laughter, holding onto something in order to prevent myself from collapsing out of laughing so hard. Between laughs, I managed to answer, “No it was perfectly fine!”

“Then why are you laughing?”

“I wasn’t expecting Bambi to sound like that!”

Xiumin began to snicker. “Gives him character don’t you think?”

“I guess!” OH GOD WHY WAS THAT SO AWESOME?! I shook my head in disbelief.

Xiumin and I could not stop laughing, Xiumin’s arms wrapped around his stomach, and it only got worse when we heard our results, a family nearby curiously eyeing us. As soon as we returned to normal, Xiumin touched The Lion King picture on the screen, Hakuna Matata playing. “One more time, but it will only be YOU doing it.”

Raising an eyebrow, “What?”

“A little DEER told me you sing.” he smirked, “I want to hear you.”

I knew Xiumin was referring to Luhan. Sighing, “I’m not that good…”

“Awe don’t be shy.” he playfully pouted, “Pretty please? The song is about to start again.”

Giving in to his adorable face, “Okay fine.”

“Do you know the song?”

“Yes…” I opened my mouth and began to sing once the song played for the second time, concentrating on the words rather than Xiumin’s sweet smile directed toward me. Near the end I heard Xiumin perfectly harmonizing with me, smiling and closing my eyes to listen to his voice more. The song over, I tilted my head in curiosity at Xiumin staring at me.

“You can sing!” he yelped, “You’re REALLY good!”

Face heating up, “Th-Thank you. I try.” Half-smiling, I spoke nervously. “And by the way, I-I liked our harmonizing.”

“Me too.” Xiumin smiled, “We should do it again sometime.”

I nodded in agreement. Upon moving out of the grotto, I became curious on why Xiumin was suddenly grinning,“What’s with that look on your face?”

“I bet you like me better now.” Xiumin began to walk backwards, hands behind his back, “In fact, I KNOW you do.”

Chuckling, “Is that so?”

“Yup, especially after spending more time together. Besides, you told me you like me and yet you haven’t told Joonmyun.”

Halting my steps, I blinked twice as I realized he was right and that I should finally tell Suho how I feel, also remembering the others who are most likely looking for us. Before I could think of what to say, Xiumin spoke once more.

“And since you do you can call me by my real name.” he stood right in front of me.

Tilting my head, “Minseok?”

Frowning, Xiumin, “You say it like you’re guessing my name.”

Chuckling, “I’m sorry Min.”

“What did you say?”

I quickly shook my head. “I mean Minseok. I’m sorry I didn’t mean to shorten it without your permission.”

“No no no it’s ok there’s no need to apologize!” Xiumin grabbed my hands, interlacing our fingers together, bringing us closer to each other. Shyly smirking, “It feels nice to hear you say that.”

Smiling as I bit my lip, “I’m glad you think so.” OH MY GOSH IT’S LIKE MY FANTASY IS COMING TO LIFE! I screamed in my head, THE ONLY THINK MISSING IS A… My eyes stared at the other’s lips for what seemed like an eternity, and he definitely noticed because of the smile forming on them.

“Your lips are tempting too.”

Snapping out of my trance, “Wh-What?”

“You want to kiss me as much as I want to kiss you.”

“Min wait…” I trailed off, my heart racing, blushing when Xiumin closed his eyes and leaned forward in an attempt to plant his lips upon mine, but we heard Xiumin’s names angrily being called, the two of us turning to the side to witness everyone hurriedly approaching us.

With a sigh, “Great timing…” Xiumin mumbled, rolling his eyes.

My sister tightly hugged me. “Where were you guys?! We were worried sick trying to look for you!”

Sighing, I slightly pushed Gwen off of me. “I-I was technically kidnapped.”

“What?” she blinked twice. I watched her glance between Xiumin being scolded by both Leeteuk and ZhouMi as he scratched the back of his head and me. Nodding, “Ah~ I see.” Grinning, she slowly patted my shoulder. “I forgive you.”

Luhan also decided to embrace me, yelling my name in the process.

“YOU.” everyone heard a voice angrily sound throughout the lot of us, turning to a surprisingly furious Suho sending a death glare toward Xiumin. He marched up to Xiumin, blocking ZhouMi and Leeteuk, and grabbed him by the collar, pulling him so that their faces were inches apart. Eyes narrowed, “What the HELL were you thinking pulling a stunt like that? Something terrible might have happened to _____.”

“Joonmyun!” ZhouMi snapped, eyes darting around the room at some people staring at them, “Don’t--” He tried prying Suho off of Xiumin, but Leeteuk laid a hand upon his shoulder.

“Wait.” Leeteuk interrupted, “Let’s see how this plays out.”

“Thanks for worrying about me buddy.” Xiumin rolled his eyes, sarcastic.

“If you EVER do something like that again, friend or no friend, I swear ZhouMi-hyung’s wrath will not be the only thing you will be forced to endure.”

Xiumin yanked the other’s hands off of him, smirking. “Are you threatening me?”

“Maybe.”

All of a sudden, Suho’s beautiful chocolate orbs seemed like they were boring a hole into my soul, gulping as I blinked twice. He approached and embraced me, resting his chin on my shoulder. “You don’t know how happy I am to see you’re okay.”

“Joonmyun…” I could not help but return his embrace, hands instinctively wrapping around his waist. It was then I realized what escaped my mouth, shying away.

“Wh-What did you just call me?” Suho blushed, cupping my face.

Taking a deep breath, “Joonmyun.” I repeated confidently.

No one, not even I, was prepared for what happened next.

HE KISSED ME.

Yeah that’s exactly how I feel about this chapter XD OMFG Suho kissed you! In front of everyone including Xiumin!! I wonder what everyone’s reactions would be, especially Xiumin’s… poor guy T.T I know there is also Turtle Talk With Crush and the Animation Academy, but I felt like the chapter would be too long so I only wrote about Sorcerer’s Workshop since it has more interactive things to do.  Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this chapter and please look forward to Chapter 16 with an overprotective Suho and a sulking and pissed off Xiumin!

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for reading, subscribing, and commenting! <3 and hugs!
