Minah crept up against Jiyeon, as she look at Jiyeon sleep.

It was 8 in the morning, and Minah was pissed to see Jiyeon still asleep.

'YAH!' Minah shook Jiyeon up rudely.

Jiyeon woke up to see Minah sticking her nose up at her.

'Mwoh?' Jiyeon sat up, as she rubbed her eyes.

Minah folded her arms, as she lean on Jiyeon's bed.

'Don't sleep already.' She shook her.

Jiyeon nodded, as she looked at Minah.

Minah rolled her eyes, as she sat up.

'Ya, don't you know what is the day today?' She scoffed at Jiyeon.

Jiyeon looked at her phone, and smiled.

'L's birthday...' She mumbled.

Minah rolled her eyes, as she sat on her bed.

'I'm going out today, so I can't celebrate his birthday. You better make him happy or I'll kill you.' She threatened.

Jiyeon cocked her head to her side, and blinked.

'I thought you liked L...' She muttered.

 

Minah's eyes dropped, as she uncrossed her arms.

'Its not that I liked him.' She mumbled, climbing out of Jiyeon's bed.

'I... I just... YA!' She shouted at Jiyeon.

'Why are you asking so many questions! Keep your nose to yourself!' Minah scoffed, as she walked out of her room.

 

 

Jiyeon gave herself an evil smirking face, as she pumped her arms up in the air.

'Its our birthday...' She smiled to herself, as she got out of bed.

 

 

 

 

 

L lay on Eunseo's bed, as he smiled, looking outside the window.

*That girl must be excited now.* He thought of Jiyeon, as he sat up from the bed, and looked into the mirror.

Just then, he felt his phone ringing.

He nonchantly picked it up, and yawned.

'Yeobuseyo?' He said, laying back onto the bed.

His eyes opened, as he immediately sat up.

 

 

Jiyeon tip toed towards Eunseo's room, as she leaned her face on the door.

She used her tiny hands, and knocked three times, before popping her head in.

Jiyeon looked around the room, as she saw L sitting on the bed, talking on the phone.

'Arasso... mmm... Bye..' He hung up the phone, and looked at Jiyeon.

 

Jiyeon gave him a smile, before entering.

'Morning.' She smiled to him.

L gave her a smile, as he stood up.

'Morning...' 

'I've cooked breakfast.' She smiled, as she took a step back.

'Come out and eat.' 

 

L nodded, as Jiyeon disappeared.

He looked at his phone, as he sighed, before getting himself fresh.

 

Jiyeon sat in the kitchen, as she keeps thinking of the day.

L took guilty steps down as he looked at Jiyeon.

'Jiyeon ah...' L mumbled, walking towards her.

'Yah Park Jiyeon!' Minah's voice cut him, as he stood there, looking at Minah walking to Jiyeon.

'Neo... YOU better make the best birthday for my oppa.' She pouted, looking at L.

 

'Oppa mian... I can't celebrate with you today... I'll be leaving now.' She smiled sweetly for the first time.

L broke into a small smirk, nodding his head.

 

 Minah dragged her luggage to the door, as L followed along.

'Going back so soon?' He teased.

Minah rolled her eyes, as she leaned closer to L.

'Wae? Wanna make me stay longer?' 

L immediately shook his head, making Minah cross her arms.

 

'I must be a monster to you.' She mumbled, glaring at L.

L nodded a little, and stood a step back to avoid her scary obsessed aura.

Minah pouted a little, then jumped onto L, giving him a big tight hug.

 

'Oppa! I'll get going! And...' She let go and took a look at him.

'Jiyeon... That girl...' She smirk.

L shook his head.

'Don't think about bullying her again... She's..'

'A nice girl.' Minah cut L off.

L looked at Minah.

'I think its my first time hearing you compliment.' He laughed.

Minah stood back, as she smiled.

'Alright oppa... This time, I'll promise no more obsession over you... I'll be you cute and loving younger sister this time.' She smiled, as she turned around, seeing her car already parked outside.

 

L looked at Minah as she jumped into the car, wondering why she changed over a night.

He stopped smiling, as he suddenly remembered about Jiyeon.

*I have to tell Jiyeon first...* He thought to himself, as he ran into the house.

 

 

 

*This would look pretty I guess...* Jiyeon thought to herself, as she looked into the mirror.

Jiyeon slipped the pink knee length dress her mother gave it to her when she used it for blind datings, and let go of her bunned hair.

She smile to herself in the mirror, as she walked out confidently to seek for the birthday boy.

 

L sat in the living room, with his sleek and proper outfit, as he puts a finger under his chin, thinking of what he should do.

His eyes opened wide, as he saw Jiyeon walking carefully down the stairs, with smile stuck onto her face.

 

'I'm done.' She smiled,hopping a little all around.

'Uh...' L was about to say something, but Jiyeon cut him off.

'Where are we going? Is it possible that we stop by my parents' bakery? I want them to celebrate our birthday too.' She squealed a little.

L's heart dropped, as he stood up, holding onto Jiyeon's shoulders.

'Are we going now?' She ask in a happy tone.

L opened his mouth, but his heart flustered.

'Y..Yes.... Let's... Lets go..' He gave her a weak smile.

 

Jiyeon held onto her seemingly large tote bag, as she skipped outside to the car.

Inside, was a butler that L hired, as he opened the car door for Jiyeon.

'Gamsahamnida!' Jiyeon smiled happily to the butler and got in the car.

L followed behind, as he sat next to Jiyeon.

 

 

Jiyeon was extremely chatty, asking what are they going to do, at where.

L calmed Jiyeon down, as he looked into her eyes.

'Jiyeon ah...' He gulped.

'Neh?' She smiled.

'I...I...I can't celebrate your birthday today..' He mumbled.

 

Jiyeon's smile disappeared, as she sat there, looking at L.

'Eh?' 

L lay back, as he avoided Jiyeon's gaze.

'Mian... But... Eunseo says she would rush back from overseas to celebrate with me...' He mumbled.

'You know how hard is it for her to travel so long... I don't want her to...' 

'Of course!' Jiyeon cut L off.

 

Jiyeon held in her tears, as she smile even wider to hold those drops.

'Eunseo is such a sweet girlfriend! Of course you should celebrate with her!' She exclaimed.

'I'll be fine! Just.. Maybe stop me around here, and I'll go find my friends.' She said, looking out of the window.

'Really?' L asked, looking at Jiyeon.

'Of course! My friends actually called me out, its just that I pushed them away. I could call them again, they won't mind!' She smiled, as the car stopped.

'I'll... I'll get going then.' She said, opening the car door.

L held onto her hands, as she was about to alight.

'Mian.. I'll celebrate once we get home.' He said.

Jiyeon rolled her eyes upwards, as she silently wiped off the tears.

'Arasso' She smiled, alighting the car.

'Have fun!' She said, looking at the car driving away.

 

L lay in the car, as he took out his phone to see Eunseo's message.

'Oppa, I'll be taking the 2 pm flight. Oppa come get me at 6!' 

He closed his phone, as he thought of Jiyeon.

He shook his head, thinking.

'Mwoh... She said she already got plans... I shouldn't worry so much then.' 

 

 

Jiyeon stood alone at the path way, as she look at the car driving away.

Her head lowered, as she nodded to herself.

*Why did I even ask for such demands?* She smirk to herself, walking away.

She walked slowly with those heels, as she took out her phone.

She sighed, as she look through her contacts.

*But I have no friends...* She frowned, as she sat down at the bus station, thinking of where she might go.

 

 

 

 

L picked up his phone, as he texted Eunseo.

'I'll meet you at the old restaurant.' He texted, as he sighed.

*I wonder how is Jiyeon now...* He thought.

He shook his head, trying to shake away his guilt.

*Aniya... I'll just celebrate with her before midnight when I get home..* 

 

 

Jiyeon walked in the shopping mall, as she tried to find something interesting to do.

As she walked around, her legs are starting to give away.

*These heels are so pain* She pouted to herself, as she began to have 2 left feet.

'Woahhh!!' Jiyeon tumbled, as she closed her eyes, preparing to feel the cold hard cemented floor.

But instead of that, a pair of warm hands wrapped around her, and hung on to her.

Jiyeon opened her eyes, and found Woohyun's face right in front of hers.

'Jiyeon?' Woohyun looked at her, as he pulled Jiyeon back up.

Jiyeon smiled awkwardly as she regained her balance, and combed her hair nicely.

 

Woohyun looked at Jiyeon from top to toe.

'Yahhhhh~' He teased.

'You loook amazing!' He patted Jiyeon's head.

'Where's L?' He looked around.

'You know he's boasting to the members about celebrating his birthday with you...' 

'He's not celebrating with me today.' Jiyeon mumbled, trying to hide her disappoinment.

 

Woohyun looked at Jiyeon, shocked.

'WAE?' He exclaimed.

Jiyeon rubbed her neck, as she gave a bitter smile.

 

'He... He's celebrating with Eunseo...'

 

 

 

L sat in the restaurant, as he held up his coffee, giving it the last sip.

He looked at the time.

'She's supposed to be by the airport by now..' L smiled, as he looked at the bouquet of flowers he bought on his way.

 

*FlashBack:

L picked up his phone, as he yawned.

'Yeobuseyo?' 

'Yeobuseyo... Kim Myungsoo!' 

Eunseo's bright voice startled L.

'Yah, do you miss me?' Eunseo giggled through the phone.

L kept silent, as his eyes pierced into the walls, shocked to hear Eunseo.

'Are you listening?' Eunseo asked.

'Anyway, its your birthday today! And I got you a surprise!' 

'Mwoh....Mwoh?' L stuttered.

'I'm coming back!' She shouted.

 

L's head went dizzy.

'Mwoh?' 

'I'm coming back just for a day. Its my rest day, and what's more its my boyfriend's birthday! How can I give it a miss?'

L's heart drooped.

'We... I ...'

'I told you to wait for me, didn't I?' Eunseo's voice changed, worried over L's reaction.

'Did you?' She asked.

L kept silent, as he thought of what to say.

'Cause... Cause I've always been thinking of you... Myungsoo yah... Wait for me.. Just a few more hours and we'll get to see each other again...'

L looked at his watch one more time, as he nervously waited for Eunseo.

The door then opened, as someone stepped in...

'Where's Eunseo?' L stood up, as he watch his driver walking in.

 

 

 

Jiyeon sat down at the cafe with Woohyun, as she sipped onto her chocolate milk.

Woohyun shook his head, as he looked at Jiyeon.

'Yah, andwaeji...' He mumbled.

Jiyeon looked up at Woohyun.

'Hmmm?'

'He's celebrating his birthday so happily, we must celebrate yours too!' Woohyun exclaimed, as he stood up, and took out his phone.

 

'yah, let's go back to our practice room.' Woohyun smiled, after he texted someone.

Jiyeon raised her eyebrows, as she allowed Woohyun to pull her out of the  cafe, running towards the car park.

 

'Wae?' Jiyeon looked astonished at Woohyun, as he buckled up.

'I just need to get something... Just wait for a while.' He winked at Jiyeon, as he started driving.

Woohyun got out of the car, as he ran off into the company, leaving Jiyeon alone.

After a while, Woohyun got back again, as he started driving off.

'Where exactly are we going?' Jiyeon asked, confused by Woohyun's actions.

'Just wait...' He smiled, as he drove off to another place.

 

 

 

 

L sunk his back onto the chair, as he looked at the driver.

'What do you mean by she's not here?' He muttered.

'I'm sorry sir, but the plane has already arrived in Korea. I couldn't contact her either.'

L plopped back, as he sighed.

'What was I waiting for?' He shook his head, as he took out his phone, scrolling for Eunseo's name.

'The number you have called in currently unavailable, please try again later.' 

L hung up his phone, as he looked at his driver.

'Then when is the next flight to Korea?' 

His driver shook his head.

'Not till tomorrow, sorry sir, I don't think she will be here tonight.' 

 

L sighed again, as he dismissed the driver.

The waiter came in again, as L stood up, and put the bill on the table.

'Keep the change.' He coldly said, as he walked out of the restaurant.

 

 

 

 

Jiyeon's lips broke into a smile, as right in front of her, stood 5 cuties, smiling at her.

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIYEON!!!' The boys shouted, as Woohyun pushed her into the crowd.

Jiyeon broke into a smile, as she stood in the small cafe back at the shopping mall, as Infinite surrounded her.

The plain simple cafe was now decorated with Balloons, and a big sign writing *Happy birthday Jiyeon*.

Her eyes gleamed, as the big birthday cake appeared in front of her.

'What are you waiting for?' Woohyun asked, as he point to the cake.

'Make a wish and blow the candles!'

 

Jiyeon nodded, as she intertwined her fingers together, and wished.

*I wish L is also having fun now.* She thought, as she blew the candles.

 

Jiyeon look at the boys, as they all smiled to her.

'Yah, you're so lucky today!' Hoya beamed, as he wrapped his arms around Jiyeon.

'Woohyun doesn't spend his money so easily. But because of you he's spending a bomb!' Hoya said, teasing Woohyun.

Woohyun elbowed Hoya, as he turned and looked at Jiyeon with a soft look.

'Gomawo.' Jiyeon smiled softly at Woohyun, as he blushed and scratched his head.

Woohyun sat beside Jiyeon, as they both enjoyed the cake, and the rest of Infinite started dancing around and singing, making Jiyeon giggle and laugh like nobody business.

 

 

The night soon ended, as Jiyeon waved goodbye to the boys.

'I'll send you back.' Woohyun smiled, as he opened the car for Jiyeon.

Jiyeon nodded, as she sat in.

 

The way home was long, as Jiyeon felt her eyes drooping down.

Slowly, her eyes closed, as Woohyun drove even slower, to prevent her from waking up.

 

They reached home in a while after, as Woohyun looked at Jiyeon.

'Yepudda.' He smiled to himself, as he used his fingers to brush away some hair on Jiyeon's face.

Jiyeon cringed a little, as she woke up.

'Uh?' We reached.' She sat up, making Woohyun fluster.

'Ah... Yeh... I was about to wake you up.' He lied.

Jiyeon smiled, as she stepped out of the car.

'Gomawo. I had so much fun today.' She smiled, as Woohyun followed along.

 

'I'm glad you had fun today.' Woohyun smiled, as he reached the door.

He pierced his lips, as he stood in front of Jiyeon.

'I....' He mumbled, as he scratched his head.

'I....' 

'Oh?' Jiyeon cut him off, as she opened the door.

'Its not locked...' She mumbled, as she walked in.

Woohyun sighed, as he mentally slapped himself, and held the door.

'I... I shall see you some other day then.' He smiled bitterly, walking towards his car.

 

 

Jiyeon locked the door, as she walked into the house confidently.

'I'm home!' Jiyeon shouted, happy as she skipped towards the living room.

 

'oh You're back home so early.' Jiyeon smiled to him, as she sat down, taking out her shoes.

'How was your date?' 

L sat there coldly, as he looked at Jiyeon.

'Who did you celebrate with today?' He asked.

Jiyeon shrugged.

'Infinite and Woohyun.' She smiled.

'They're such sweet guys...' She smiled to herself, remembering all the fun moments.

L slammed his remote control on his couch, as he stood up, walking away from the living room.

 

Jiyeon sat there stoned, as she quickly stood up.

'Waeyo?' Jiyeon asked.

L ignored her, as he walked up the stairs.

 

Being braver this time, Jiyeon ran upwards, and held onto L.

'Waeyo? Its your birthday today, don't be so pouty.' She tried to , but he returned a cold gaze.

 

the two stood silently as they stare at each other.

L rolled his eyes, as he pushed Jiyeon to the side, walking up.

Trying to brighten L up, Jiyeon followed him.

'Yah... Birthday boy!' She stopped him again, as she pouted cutely.

'C'mon... SMILEEEEEE' She stretched L's face, trying to make him laugh.

Instead, L pushed her arms away.

'Stop it. I'm not in the mood.' He said, opening his room door.

'Why? Did you fight with Eunseo?' Jiyeon asked, trapping the door with her legs.

 

L stayed silent, as he looked away.

'She didn't appear.' He mumbled.

'Mwoh?' Jiyeon looked at L, as he avoided her gaze.

 

Jiyeon could feel his sadness, as L closed the door.

 

 

L lay on Eunseo's bed, as he rolled around.

'Why was I even anticipating?' He laughed abruptly to himself.

'She's always like this since we started dating.' He stopped smiling, and sat up.

He looked around the room, filled up with his photos and Eunseo's.

He closed his eyes, feeling burdened and frustrated.

 

Jiyeon's head popped into the room, as she saw L laying on the bed, covering his eyes.

'L...' She mumbled, as L looked at her.

'What?' He sighed, sitting up.

Jiyeon smiled, as she walked into the room, and pulled L up.

'C'mon... Let's go down for a while.' She said.

'For what.' He push off Jiyeon's hands.

'To celebrate our birthday.' She smiled.

L shook his head.

'Forget it, its too late.' He said.

'Ani.' Jiyeon shook her head, as she pointed at the clock.

'Its only 10.30. We have more than an hour . C'mon...' She pulled him out of the room, down to the kitchen.

'WAEYOO...' He tried to whine, but stopped, as he saw the kitchen set up.

Jiyeon smiled, as she stood in front of him.

'Happy birthday!' SHe smiled.

L smirk, as he look at the dough in place, and two aprons on the kitchen counter.

'What are you going to do?' He asked.

Jiyeon shook her head.

'Not me. WE.' 

'hmm?' 

'We're going to make a birthday cake!' She exclaimed.

L shook his head.

'You do it yourself.' He shrugged, walking out of the kitchen.

'NO. WE will do it together!' She insisted, pulling L into the kitchen.

 

L somehow smiled, as Jiyeon put the apron on him, as she started getting to work.

'Here... crack the egg.' Jiyeon said, putting an egg in front of him.

L cracked in the egg, but Jiyeon shouted.

'YAH! How can you throw in the shells as well?' She laughed, taking them out, as she carried on the task.

The two of them started having fun, as L mischeviously smudge a little of flour onto Jiyeon's nose.

Jiyeon started pouting, as she threw some back onto L's face too.

 

half an hour past, as Jiyeon and L sat on the couch, both tired and messy.

'Yah. Is it done?' L asked, pointing at the oven.

Jiyeon nodded her head, as she looked at L.

'Take it out please.' She lay on the couch.

L stared at her, as he shook her off the couch.

'You take it.' He said, laying on the couch, blocking Jiyeon from sitting again.

Jiyeon sighed, as she stood up and took the cake out, and continued the icing by herself.

 

L just sat in the living room, as he ocassionally peeked at Jiyeon, and smiled at her.

 

'ITS DONE!' Jiyeon ran towards L with the cake, as she knelt down by the table, and looked at him.

L smiled, as he looked at the cake.

The cake was decorated with beautiful delicious icing, with L's cartoon picture on it.

'You did this yourself?' L asked, amazed by Jiyeon's artwork.

Jiyeon nodded proudly, as she put on the candles, and looked at L.

'Happy birthday L!' She whispered softly, as she looked at him.

'Blow the candles!'

 

L closed his eyes, as he was about to blow, but stopped, as he looked at Jiyeon.

'Let's do it together.' He smiled.

Jiyeon nodded, as both of them closed their eyes, and blew the candles together.

 

L broke into a smile, as Jiyeon looked at him.

'L...' She mumbled, as she sat beside him.

'Hmmm?' L looked at her, as he tasted the icing.

Jiyeon went forward, and gave L a tight hug.

'Gomawo...' She mumbled in his ears.

'Thank you for such a memorable day.' She said.

L kept his hands tensed, as he felt his heart beating.

 

'Well...' Jiyeon let go of him, as she took her bag out, and pulled out a present.

'HAPPY BIRTHDAY!' She smiled, presenting the gift to him.

L smiled, as he took it.

'What is it?' He asked.

'Take a look!' Jiyeon smiled, as she took a scoop of cake into .

L's eyes dropped, as he saw the present.

 

'This...' He looked at it.

'I know you've been wanting it so long.' Jiyeon smiled.

'I caught you looking at it. So I thought you might want it.' She said.

L looked at Jiyeon again, as he suddenly felt guilty.

'I... I didn't get you anything.' He said.

Jiyeon shook her head.

'Gwaenchana. You're the best present.' She said.

L looked into her eyes, as Jiyeon startled.

 

'Ani... Not... Don't mistunderstand... I mean... You celebrating with me... Its the best present.' Jiyeon tried to explain, as she found herself digging her grave deeper.

L smirk, as he went closer to her.

'Don't tell me... You're already falling for me?' He asked.

Jiyeon blushed, as she pushed L backwards.

'Mwoh?! Ha...Ha.. Don't mistunderstand... We're on contract... Remember? How can I fall in love with you...' She rubbed her neck nervously.

'I...I have to shower.' She stuttered, as she stood up.

 

L pulled her down on the couch again, as he hugged Jiyeon tightly.

'Don't go.' He whispered.

He looked at Jiyeon, and slowly, his lips touched hers.

 

Jiyeon's eyes slowly closed, as she felt L's lips genlty touching hers.

'Don't go...' L's words echoed in her mind, as she hugged L back...

L had his eyes opened, as he pulled himself back.

He smiled to Jiyeon.

'Happy birthday.' He smiled, kissing her the last time, as he walked up the stairs, leaving Jiyeon alone.

 

Jiyeon had her eyes wide open, as she tried to recall what had happen.

Her heart was about to explode, as she smiled, and lay on the couch, screaming into the pillow.
