Jiyeon sat on the sofa, as she stare continuously at L.

L look at the Tv awkwardly, as he hugged onto Baby.

Jiyeon clenched her teeth, as she crossed her legs, trying to get L's attention.

L ignored her, and continued watching TV.

Just then, Jiyeon stood up, and turned off the TV.

 

'YAH!' L shouted.

Jiyeon glared at the Tv's reflection, and then at L.

'YOU!' She shouted back, leaving L in shock.

'You...Why did you do that!' Jiyeon pouted.

 

Flashback:

 

'Don't regret.' Sunggyu said, as he pulled Jiyeon to the door.

Jiyeon looked at Sunggyu blankly, as he told Jiyeon that she's leaving with him.

'Let's go Jiyeon.' He said, as he held her hands tightly.

Just as Jiyeon was about to open the door, L ran towards it, and grabbed her hand.

'Mwoyah...' Jiyeon looked at him.

L stared at Sunggyu, as the both of them start their intense eye war.

 

'Let her go, hyung.' L said.

'She's leaving, with me. You should let go.' Sunggyu said, pulling Jiyeon to his side.

But L's strength wouldn't allow him to it.

 

'She's mine. I made a contract with her, I would be breaking it if I did.' L said bluntly.

'Besides, why are you so caring towards her anyway?' 

 

Sunggyu's grip losen, as he heard L's words.

Taking the opportunity, L pulled Jiyeon to his side, and made her stand behind him.

'Mian hyung, I don't know what's going on with you, but she will have to be with me, whether she likes it or not.' L looked at Jiyeon, who was in a confused state.

 

'Fine, If I catch you doing this to her again... Be careful.' Sunggyu said, as he walked out of L's house.

 

 

Flashback END

 

 

L sat awkwardly on the sofa, with Jiyeon in front of him.

Jiyeon folded her arms.

L his lips, not knowing what to say.

'Yah... Hokshi...' Jiyeon mumbled, as she narrowed her eyes, and lean closer to L.

'Mwoh?' L said, as he backed away.

'You... Do you have a crush on me?' She asked.

 

L opened his mouth, shock that she said such ridiculous words.

He rolled his eyes, and pulled Jiyeon, causing her to fall on the sofa.

'OUCH!' Jiyeon pouted and stare at him.

 

L ignored her, and continue watching tv.

Jiyeon sighed, as she sat beside him again, and took a look at him.

 

'Yah... Can I ask you something?' Jiyeon said.

L shook his head.

'Why is your name L?' 

L sighed, and switched off the Tv.

'Didn't I just shook my head?' He asked.

Jiyeon smiled sheepishly at him, as he ruffle his fingers through his hair.

'Then why do you hate tomatoes? They're really nice, you know that?' 

L sighed again, as he finally opened his mouth.

 

'I just hate them, okay?' He said.

Jiyeon nodded, as she look at Baby.

 

'Why did you adopt Baby?' She asked.

'Eunseo adopted it.' L said, as he patted his dog.

Jiyeon nodded again, but look at him.

'You don't look like a dog person to me. You look more like you adopt cats.' 

L look at her.

'Why did you say that?'

Jiyeon shrugged.

'Because you look lazy to me.' 

 

L rolled his eyes, as the both of them started talking to each other.

 

'Why did you break up with Eunseo? Is it really because of me?' Jiyeon asked.

L sighed and patted Jiyeon's head.

'Yes. So don't make things worse.' He joked, as he stood up, and walked upstairs, leaving Jiyeon and Baby alone.

'Is it really my fault?' Jiyeon pouted.

 

 

Just as Jiyeon was about to grumble about not having dinner, L came down with his car keys.

'Let's go.' He said, pulling Jiyeon up.

'To where?' Jiyeon asked.

'Don't you want to eat?' He smile at Jiyeon.

 

 

 

 

The two of them sat in the VIP section of the restaurant, as Jiyeon gawk at every single thing she sees.

'Psstt!!!' She whispered to L, who was in the midst of choosing the food.

'Don't you think its a little too expensive?' She said.

L giggled, as he passed the menu to the waiter, and ordered for both of them.

 

Jiyeon looked around again.

'wahh... Why do we have to sit in such a big room?' She asked.

'If you forgotten, I'm an Idol.' L reminded Jiyeon.

'And Idols don't dine in places where normal people does.' 

Jiyeon rolled her eyes, as she mumbled to herself.

'Idols are humans too.. What's the big deal.'

 

Just then, the waiter came in again, and this time, with two cards.

'Sir, Miss, today we are giving out discounts if you're a member of this restaurant. Would you like to get the membership card now? You can use it for later.' 

 

 

'YES,NO' Both of them said together.

Jiyeon stared at L, as he shook his head.

 

'Yes, Please give us one each.' Jiyeon smiled at the waiter.

Jiyeon waited for the waiter to walk away, and then threw the card onto L's desk.

'Fill it up!' Jiyeon said, as she started filling up her details.

 

L sighed, as he took out his pen from his pockets, and started filling up the blanks.

Peeking while writing, L scoffed.

'Eheyy... Cheater.' 

Jiyeon looked at L, then at his card, then squealed.

'OMO! We have the same birthdays!' She exclaimed.

 

L rolled his eyes, as he took Jiyeon's card, and waved for the waiter to collect.

'coincidence...'Jiyeon mumbled to herself, as she rolled her curls with her fingers.

'Let's go.' L said, as he walked out of the restaurant, leaving Jiyeon tagging behind.

 

 

Jiyeon stood beside the car, as she look at L.

'Mwoh?' He asked, feeling annoyed.

Jiyeon pouted, as she shook her head.

'Can't we go somewhere else?' She asked.

'Instead of... Your house?' 

 

L look at Jiyeon, as she gave a pleading look.

'Where to?' He asked.

Jiyeon gave a wide smile, as she sat into the car.

 

 

 

The both of them reached the beach, as Jiyeon walked in front, taking a deep breath.

L just leaned on his car, as he looked at the dark night.

 

Jiyeon walked along the beach, and finally sat down on the sand.

She looked at the big broad sea, as L walked towards and sat beside her.

'Look.' Jiyeon pointed at the sky.

 

L squinted his eyes, but still could not see anything.

'What?' 

 

Jiyeon scoff, and then pointed higher.

'See that little star?' She said.

 

L looked a little longer, and smiled.

'Its too small to be noticed.' He said.

 

Jiyeon giggled, as she bent her knees.

'That's me.' She said.

'I'm just like that star, no one can see me.' She smiled to L.

'Ever since young, I've been treated like I was a nobody. Not even once, I celebrated my birthday with my friends and classmates, because I had none.'

She continued.

'My friends laugh at me, for being a poor girl, who has nothing to eat, but bread everyday... I was particularly a failure in life, even in relationships.' She sighed.

 

'I'm so envious of you, L.' She said.

L looked at her.

'Why?' 

'Because you are always at everyone's attention, you have so many friends who's there for you.' She said, as she lay her head on her knees.

 

L chuckled, as he sighed even louder.

'Being in the limelight is not always a good thing.' He said.

'When you're at the top, everyone expects you to give them something even better. You'll never satisfy them. And because I'm in the limelight, look what I've done to you.' He said, patting Jiyeon's head.

Jiyeon smiled as she looked at L.

 

'Aniya... I'm actually grateful.'  She said.

'Thanks for bringing me out of my boring life. And even though its only 3 months... I'm still grateful for that.' 

 

 

L suddenly felt guilty, as he look at Jiyeon, who's closing her eyes, and enjoying the breeze.

He felt like as if he had cheated on Jiyeon, and cheated on Eunseo.

His heart ached a little, as he heard Jiyeon's story.

'Wanna go home now?' He asked, as Jiyeon looked at him.

'Aniya... You can go first if you want to...' She smiled at him, as she look at the beach.

'DO you know the way back?' L asked, wanting Jiyeon to leave with him.

Jiyeon nodded.

'Everytime when I need some rest, or catch a breath, I'll always come here. You can go first.' She smiled at him.

 

L became worried, as he ask.

'Is there anything wrong?' He asked.

Jiyeon shook her head.

'I just don't want to stay indoors all day. Its suffocating.' She chuckled.

 

Trying to look cool, L just stood up.

'Then head back home yourself, don't regret.' He said.

Jiyeon scoff at him, as he walk away.

 

 

L kept looking back, as he walk to his car.

He sat in his car, as he continuously look at Jiyeon's back.

He wanted to go, but didn't dare. 

'What if she gets into trouble? Again?' He thought to himself.

'Aniya... I should just go...' He said.

'But what if she loose her way?? Aniya... She said she's familiar with the place.'

'AISHH! Why do you care so much for!' L shouted at himself in the mirror.

'But... Let me just stay for a while more...' L mumbled, as he lean on his seat, and watch Jiyeon, who is staring at the little star in the dark night.
