“Is it true Jieun? You’re in love with me?” I asked surprised

She didn’t turn around but just kept looking at the ground. I placed my hand on her shoulder “Jieun?”

“I have to go” she said as she pushed my hand away and ran

“Jieun!” I yelled

Thunder ran past me with the other kid on his tail “Jieun wait!”

“I’m such an idiot” Hana mumbled as she bowed at me and then ran after them.

“Jieunie is...” I couldn’t believe it

Khun whistled “in love with you man. Who would have thought?”

I was the guy all along. Was it me she was trying to impress at the party? Was that why she ran away when she heard me talking to...ah .

I ruffled my head “I broke her heart”

Jieun P.O.V

“Good job Jieun!”

“Nice work!”

“Thank you for coming to our talk show!”

I smiled and bowed “thank you for inviting me”

The Mc bowed back and left. I sighed once I heard the door to my dressing room close. I can’t believe he found out. Hana apologized but I wasn’t even mad at her. What were the odds that he was standing behind us? It had been two days since I escaped from Wooyoung. Sadly today was the day I had to face him. He had come to me before the show and asked me if we could talk. I couldn’t say no, I knew I had to face him eventually.

*Knock. Knock*

“Jieun” somebody opened the door

I stood up and put on my best smile “Wooyoung oppa”

“Are you ready?” Stop looking at me like that. Don’t pity me.

I nodded and grabbed my bag “yes”

“Let’s go” he pushed me slightly out the door

It was a quiet walk as we made our way outside the studio. It was already seven in the morning and barely anybody was outside. Still we wore our disguises just in case. “Jieun look-“he started saying but I didn’t want to hear it

I pointed to a café smiling “can we have breakfast? I haven’t ate yet”

He sighed but nodded “sure”
