It takes a while to get used to sleep in the dessert. The deafening quietness that settles at night in reality is filled with a lot of noise: the rustle of crawling bags, hissing of the snakes and even occasional echo of lion’s roar coming from afar.  But it took only few days to get used to it, and soon all the sounds that were disturbing in the beginning became the soothing lullaby and Rinnie slept peacefully till the late mornings.

She was glad that she came. It took a lot of begging and pouting, till her parents agreed to let her participate in trip to Zambia as part of their volunteer schedule this summer. But Rin would not agree to miss it for million dollars!  It will be something to be proud off and also to brag a little among friends. Plus, how many of them have been in Africa?

But today’s morning started very different. Rinnie opened her eyes to the unusual noises that filled the camp. She could hear roaring engines and shouting of dozen new voices. Curious at what is going on she quickly left her tent and went to the group of younger volunteers who stood with her parents.

She heard them talking among themselves:

      -    I wonder who had that “genius” idea to invite here those idols?

      -     Just look at that doll-boy! I bet he’ll play drama queen and complain all the time!

-         Yes, and we will end up doing all the work anyway. Them and their filming will just be a trouble and will slower our work.

-         It will be good already if they would not hinder the process with their filming. We need to finish everything before the rainy season starts.

“Doll-boy? Filming? What’s going on?” - Rinnie was really curious now. She came closer and OMG! She could not believe her eyes. It was Yoon Doojoon, BEAST's leader! You will ask what is that “Beast” is? The best band in the world of course! At least for her, Rin Chyeon.

She hardly stopped herself from running to him, but the imagination already was working wild – how they will work together, become friends, and than he will even like her!

What were the odds to meet him in Africa?? Bookmakers would have probably gone bankrupt trying to figure it out. But still, here he is and she has chance and all the possibilities to be with him! Yes, Zambia was the best place on Earth at that moment!

But than she realized that he was staying close enough to the talking group. Even if he had his back turned to them, he still probably heard everything.

Rin glared, looking at her parents. Great! Now it all was ruined for her. He would not want to talk to the daughter of people who dismissed him so casually. Would not he?
