A young girl stood in front of the tall office center looking up to the almost 40-store building with its last floor disappearing in the sky, checking her appearance for the last time before she has to go in.

She had all reasons to be nervous. It was not only her first job after graduation, but the company sends her to their foreign branch, South Korea of all the countries. To be fare, they did give her the choice to accept or not, but Constanze being the long-lover of k-pop and fascinated by all other cultures could not let such an opportunity to slip away. Even if it meant that she will have to try double-hard.

So here she was, the assistant computer designer in one of the world-famous glossy magazines, South Korean branch. But she loved every minute of it. It also helped that she was not the only foreigner in the department, and the fact that she was interested in the Korean kitchen and even tried to cook some before, made it easily to adjust.  Plus, some people even approached her first, complimenting her pale skin, saying that’s its very beautiful. That was one of the cultural differences too.  It was funny, how at home she was sometimes asked if she was sick because of it.

Constanze was sitting at her desk, working on her next assignment.

-         Conny,

her colleague calls to her attention,

-         Mr. Han called earlier and approved the design. He just asked the background to be changed to the darker blue, can you do this?

-         Yes, no problem at all

Conny smiled and opened the said file to add the changes.

(You may ask why it is Conny? Well, her full name, Constanze, was little bit hard for most people here to pronounce on everyday use, so she did not mind them using her nickname.)

Suddenly their department boss came into the room.

-         Who was the designer on the SHINee concert announcement?

He asked looking in turn at each of the designers, sitting behind their computers.

-         Me, Sir. I did the final changes.

 Conny raised her head.

-         Please, Ms. Constanze , come to my office.

He said and left the room without waiting for her or saying anything else.

Conny rolled her eyes and nodded to her colleges, before going out. When she entered the boss’ office she saw some unfamiliar middle-aged man in business suit and .. Onew from SHINee?!

Her boss introduced her to the people inside.

The middle-age man gave her the curt nod, but she was surprised that Onew stood up and gave a perfect bow to her. She bowed politely back, still confused about why she was called into the office.
