The incident last time was only the start of the fans loitering around and in front of the clinic. Paparazzi’s soon found out about this and also added to problem. Some of the fans and reporters tried to use their own pets as an excuse to get in the clinic and wait inside there but the staff and vets inside could sense their wrong purposes after a while.

“Hey doesn’t that cat look like the one that L got from a pet shop with his brother?” _________ heard one of the girls say when they were on their way out the door.  

‘Myungsoo bought that cat? He found it right?’ A guy distracted _______’s thoughts before she could ponder anymore about the conversation she eavesdropped in.

“Special delivery for the pretty vet lady.” Taecyeon chirped as soon as he spotted _________ after walking through the doors of the animal clinic.

________ turned around after hearing his familiar voice and smiled right away when she saw Taecyeon, who she hasn’t seen for a while.

“Hey you.”

“I got you something while I was in the states.” Taecyeon handed a paper bag to ________ that contained a cute animal plushie and a ‘high-tech’ white cat ears headband.

“awww…it’s so cute.” ________ looked really fond of the soft and adorable plushie.

“I actually named that…” Taecyeon then explained to ________ how he combined his and her name to make a cute pet nickname for ‘their’ plushie. Cheesy but sweet.

“And look what I have as well.” Taecyeon brought out something from his bag and showed _______ that he had the same cat ears headband but in another color which is black. He wore it much to _______’s amusement and her eyes widened when the ears moved. “Woah. How did you do that?”

“The cat ears actually that translates your brainwaves or your emotions into ear gestures. So for example, this is me thinking that I got sad when I was away from you.” Taecyeon’s cat ears flopped down “And how I feel now that I’m with you.” The ears then pointed upwards.

“Ooohhh so it’s like mind control. Cool! It’s the first time I’ve seen anything like this.” _______ excitedly wore the headband and as soon as she had it on it wiggled, probably caused by her excitement. “Did it move?” Taecyeon chuckled at ________’s cute child-like behavior and brought out his phone so she could see herself through the front camera.

Taecyeon took this opportunity for them to take a photo together using their ‘couple item’ as if they’re already a couple.

“I look stupid don’t I?” ________ asked Taecyeon after she realized that she’s thinking of different kinds of things just to see the different movement reactions of the cat ears.

“No one looks stupid when they’re having fun…certainly not you. You’re happy, aren’t you?”

“Of course. Thanks Taec.”

“I like the sound of that coming from you.” Taecyeon went back to his ‘greasy’ self and winked at _______. “Great! Since I made you happy, can you please eat out with me? I’m actually hungry.”

“Now?”

“Yes. You have someone to cover for you right?”

“Yeah but…” _______ hesitated not because she didn’t like to be with Taecyeon but it’s because it’s still an hour early before her due break. Taecyeon’s pout didn’t send _______ to the edge, but it was actually Eunji, who has been observing and sighing because of them, who pushed _________ to go with Taecyeon. She couldn’t bear getting envious with the two’s move-like interactions plus Taecyeon’s pout that didn’t match with his buff body. “Just go out with him now please.”

“Fine. Give me a few minutes to freshen up and get my stuff.” ________ gave in and walked towards her room.

“Thanks EunJi. I owe you one. Tell me who you want me to hook you up with, we’ll go on a double date.”

“I might just take you up on that offer.” Eunji shook hands with Taecyeon to make a deal. She was already making a mental list on which her crushes are that Taecyeon may have a connection with.

Taecyeon opened the door for ________ and just when the two were about to head to his car, someone sees and walks towards them.

“Hey, where are you two going?” Myungsoo just had the best timing to interrupt the two.

“Gonna go eat with the lady.” Taecyeon informed him.

“What a perfect timing. I am actually starving.” Lie. Myungsoo just came from a press-conference that served buffet and he’s still full. He was on his way to the gym to exercise but changed his plans when he passed by the vet.

“Well, have a good meal.” ________ answered back, not even offering Myungsoo to join them.

“So where are we eating?” He shamelessly invited himself. Before the two could reject or let Myungsoo come with them, another person joined their conversation.

“I want to go to.” Eunji suddenly approached them. She was ogling at her boss and her almost-boyfriend when she saw Myungsoo show up out of nowhere. She wants to live an entertaining life and so she wanted to go with and watch how this love triangle plays out.

“What? You’re still on duty. Who’ll manage the counter?” ________ turned her attention to EunJi who suddenly seemed prepared to have a break.

“I’m sorry I get hungry too. Blame my stomach. Naeun is there anyway. I gave her a shout out already before I stepped out.”

________ didn’t know what to do so she just looked at Taecyeon, her eyes asking him what to do. Although Taecyeon wanted to have a solo date with ________, he didn’t have the guts to turn the other two down. He’ll just have to think of a way to still spend quality time with ________ despite ‘babysitting’.

“Everyone get in before someone else comes along or before fans see us.” Taecyeon opened the passenger door for ________ and let Myungsoo open the back door for Eunji.

The four arrived at Miss Lee café to try out the lunchbox meals that is known to be the star of that café besides bringing back ‘childhood memories’ because of the vibe and interior design.

The place certainly gave them a nostalgic feel making them reminisce and share old memories with each other, letting them know more about one another.

The manager of the place asked for a picture and autograph of Myungsoo and Taecyeon since they are famous stars who visited her place.

________ looked at Taecyeon and then at Myungsoo’s hand writing since they were requested to write a short message to be displayed on the café. She couldn’t help but notice that Myungsoo’s hand writing looks familiar…similar to the note that she found on the cat? Coincidence?

Taecyeon drove back to the clinic to drop the three because he still had another appointment to go to. 

“I’ll see you soon.” Taecyeon got _______’s hand as he walked them back to the entrance.

“Soon meaning…weeks or months again?”

“Awww…you do miss me!” Taecyeon couldn’t help but feel happy, and spontaneously pecked ______ on the lips, making her widen her eyes out of surprise. Myungsoo had the same reaction but tried to recompose himself right away.

“Hopefully that’s enough to last for our memories til we see each other again.” Taecyeon whispered before walking stepping back with a grin plastered on his face.

“Hey, you can’t just steal kisses.”

“Well I wouldn’t have to if only you take me as your boyfriend already.” He replied before rushing out of the clinic.

Myungsoo didn’t leave the vet’s place right away, he used her workplace as a hang-out spot.

“You looked nice with Eunji earlier. Hmmm…was that a double date?” _______ wondered out loud as she leaned against the counter.

“You don’t look good with Taecyeon hyung.” Myungsoo bluntly said and stood beside ________.

“Wow, you should have replied with a compliment about us too you know.”

“Oh I’m sorry I thought we were playing an honest game.” ________ simply rolled her eyes at Myungsoo’s remark.

“You should go out with me.” Was Myungsoo being frank or did he just mindlessly ask her on a date?

“Did you just ask me out?? Where did that come from?”  ________ got flustered and didn’t know if she should take Myungsoo seriously.

Myungsoo just shrugged his shoulders and acted nonchalantly about the matter when in fact his heart was starting to beat faster.
