Jeongguk looks around the store, as he waits for his photos to be printed at the local Emart. The staff comes back with his order in twenty minutes, he hands the envelope to Jeongguk. He thanks the staff and on his out, he pulls a photograph out of the envelope. He smiles, happy at how the quality of the picture is. He heads towards the café, excited to show Jimin the photographs since last night he was unable to sleep. He got into with his father for missing dinner, his father demanded to know where he was, so he lied and told him, he lost track of time. He spent the night thinking about eating noodles at the convenience store with Jimin, wondering why he was so happy doing something so simple, hoping to eat noodles with Jimin again.

He parks in front of the café and gets out of the car. He opens the door, the smell of coffee, milk and a scent of lemon fills the atmosphere, a scent that is no longer a bother to him. He scans the café and spots Jimin standing behind the counter, there were two customers sitting at the table, drinking coffee and eating cake. Jeongguk makes his way to the counter, Jimin oblivious to him, was startled when Jeongguk greets him suddenly. Jeongguk apologizes and Jimin says it’s fine. Jeongguk places the envelope on the counter,

“They came out great.”

“Yeah?” says Jimin, smiling, as he picks up a towel and wipes his hands. He picks up the envelope and opens it, pulling out, he places the envelope down as he stares at the photograph. His face lights up and he gazes at Jeongguk with a huge grin.

“Wow, thank you so much, these will make the flyers stand out so well.” Jeongguk smiles excited to see Jimin so happy. He clears his throat, looking around,

“Hmm, Jihyo is not here today?”

“No, she is not working today, it’s fine it’s slow today.” 

“Hmm.”

“Anyway, thanks for the pictures.” Jeongguk glances at Jimin who smiles at him and goes back to cleaning the machine.

“You're welcome, I’ve been wondering is flyer the only advertising you guys do?” Jimin looks at him, puzzled.

“What do you mean?”

“I mean… you guys don’t have an online website or something?”

“Online, it’s expensive creating one of those.”

“Well, if you know the platform, it’s not hard to do on your own. I can show you if you want.” Jimin stares at him suspiciously,

“Look, um... thanks for the pictures but it’s okay.”

“Are you sure, it’s not hard.” Jimin sighs, wiping his hand with the towel,

“What do you get out of this anyway?”

“What do you mean?”

“I mean helping me advertise the café, the pictures and now volunteering to help me set up a website. What do you hope to get gain?”

“Nothing, I just want to, besides I like working with computers, editing, and stuff.” Jimin gazes into his eyes as if he is trying to read his mind, silent for a second.

“So, you’re helping a stranger out of the kindness of your heart?”

“Well yeah, but if you want you can think of me as a friend, so it won’t be so weird.”

“Friends?”

“Yeah.”

“Um…thanks for the offer but I don’t have time for all these online things,” replies Jimin. Jeongguk stares at him and he was about to say something but his cell phone rings,

“You can get that, I’ve to attend to my customers anyway.” Jeongguk follows Jimin with his eyes as he walks out of the counter and walks over to the customers at the table. He sighs, disappointed that Jimin rejected his offer and takes his cell phone out his pocket. He stares at the screen and it was Dahyun, damn, what now?

“Hello.”

“Hi oppa,” says Dahyun, “Where are you?”

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing, just wondering if you want to go to the Gym?”

“No, I’m not home right now.”

“Oh, where are you?”

“Just out, I’ll talk to you later.”

“Wait! I called you because I wanted to tell you not to make any plans tonight.”

“Why?”

“Because I want you to join us for dinner, it’s been awhile.”

“Ahh, I don’t know Dahyun.”

“Come on, it’s not like it’s the first time, we’ll see you at seven.”
