After such a busy morning, Jimin was glad it was starting to die down, but a smile lite up his face. If their café could have many days like this, his family would be financially set but he knew days like this are rare unless he finds ways to expand the business. As for now, he just wanted to enjoy the soft chattering coming from the customers sitting down, sipping a cup of coffee, making eye contact with him and exchanging smiles. A customer’s smile is worth millions of dollars like his mother always says because when a customer is satisfied, he or she always shares the experience, unfortunately, it is worse when they are not satisfied. Word travels fast when a customer is not happy, something he learned the hard way when he first started working at the café. Jihyo comes and stands beside him,

“He’s still not here.” Jimin glances at her,

“Who?”

Jihyo scoffs in disbelieve, “That cute photographer who took pictures of the café, he said he was going to come back this morning.”

“Oh, that Jeongguk kid. Maybe he got held up with something important or changed his mind.”

“And that doesn’t concern you, he has pictures of the café.”

“So, what, if he uses them people will know about the cafe and if he doesn’t oh well.” Jimin smiles, nothing was going to ruin his mood, he was looking forward to receiving professional pictures of the café, so he can use them, but he is not holding his breath. Today is a good day, and he just wants to focus on the positivity- he can boast to his parents about how busy today was.

Jimin sighs, time went by slow, he checks his watch for the time, two hours remained until they closed the café. With nothing to do but stare at the door, was excruciatingly dull. Jimin begins to drift into a pleasant daydream, all the noise disappearing in an instant. He smiles at the thought of being about to be on a stage, dancing, all eyes on him, as people stare at him with open mouth and wide eyes, in awe with what they were witnessing. Lost in his daydream, he was oblivious to the door open, and Jeongguk approaching the counter.

“Hi.”

Jimin jerks up and gasps, he stares at Jeongguk wondering when he came in, he looks past him at door.

“Sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you.” Jimin chuckles, brushing his hair back, embarrassed he was caught daydreaming at work. 

“It’s fine,” he replies, “You’re here?”

“Yeah, I brought the pictures, I wanted to show you, so you can choose which copies you want,” says Jeongguk, his eyes scanning Jimin’s face. Jimin smiles surprised he came by.

“You came back,” says Jihyo, standing beside Jimin, “We thought you changed your mind.”

“Oh, sorry, I came by in the morning, but you guys were really busy, so I left.” Jimin and Jihyo exchange looks, Jimin clears his throat, feeling bad for thinking otherwise.

“Anyway, can I see the pictures now?”

“Yes of course,” replies Jeongguk, walking to a table and sits down, Jimin comes and stands in front of him as Jeongguk opens his bag and pulls out his laptop. A very expensive looking gray and black Apple laptop, He must be making a lot.
