Jimin and Jeongguk walk outside the convenience store after putting ice on Jeongguk jaw. Jimin silently glances over at him, feeling bad for hitting him despite Jeongguk saying it was fine since he was at fault for startling him.

“So…what’s up with the getup?” asks Jimin, breaking the silence,

“Um…I was out.”

“Ohhh…like a date?” teases Jimin, Jeongguk laughs, biting his lower lip as he continues walking.

“What’re doing out so late anyway?”

“Hmm, closing up the café took longer since I was by myself, decided to grab dinner.”

“And where did you learn to fight because that was one heck of punch?” Jimin burst out laughing,

“I’ve always been small, so I guess teaching me to fight was my dad’s way of reassuring himself that I can defend myself and my mom when he went away for a long time.”

“Yeah, you’re small alright,” teases Jeongguk, Jimin playfully glares at him, “If I wasn’t surprised or drunk, I could’ve dodged that just, so you know.”

“Oh okay,” says Jimin.

They reach Jimin’s car and gaze at each other laughing.

“Well, I should go home.”

“Yeah, me too,” says Jeongguk. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Jimin waves bye at him and gets in the car.

Jimin parks the car and gets off, heading towards his apartment, unable to stop laughing at the thought of punching Jeongguk, he still could not believe he punched someone let alone someone helping him with his café. The house was quiet, his parents most likely went to bed early, Jimin quietly makes his way to his room. He drops his bag on the floor and falls on the bed, exhausted, he sighs. He lies down for a few seconds and decides to go take a shower.

After a shower, he lies down on the bed, feeling giddy, he wishes Taehyung was in town, so he could tell him about what happened at the café being asked out by a customer and then punching someone who wants to be friends with him. Such a hectic day, he wanted to share with Taehyung, but he knows he is not going to answer his phone, he never does.

Jimin spots Jihyo as he gets out of his car, she waves at him and he waves back at her, glad to see her. He does not want to spend the day alone at the café it gets boring,

“Good morning oppa,” she says with a huge grin, handing him a bottle of banana milk,

“Good morning Jihyo, Thanks,” says Jimin, taking the milk, “How’re you?”

“Refreshed and early, impressed right?”

Jimin chuckles, “Yeah I’m impressed, keep it up.”

“Anything for you oppa.”

“Okay, let’s head inside and open the café, business is not going to work itself.”

Jimin stood behind the counter, listening to the music that was playing, the day was quieter than usual, but it was not surprising Thursday are usually slow. His stomach growls loudly, regretting having skipped breakfast, peers at the door wondering what was taking Jihyo so long. Since it was slow, Jihyo begged to go and buy a proper meal for the both instead of just snacks. Jimin sighs, watching the cars pass by slowly, lost in his own head. Today marked the first month of February what do people do around this time? Are people usually more lovey-dovey with the upcoming valentines day holiday? The door opens, and he glares at Jihyo who walks in holding a bag of food with a huge grin, and on the other hand, she was holding a magazine

“What took you so long?”

“Well, it was busy,” she says, she clears and puts the food on the counter.

“Busy, or did you get caught up reading tabloids again?” says Jimin, taking the magazine but she snatches it back, chuckling nervously. Jimin rolls his eyes and takes the bag,

“What’s so interesting about that magazine?” he mumbles as he goes to the back to unwrap the food. As he opens the bag the smell of fried chicken makes his stomach rumble and his mouth water, he takes out the chicken and plates them in a bowl, Jihyo joins him. He glances at her and she smiles at him, pacing back and forth, hands behind her back. Jimin sighs and glances at her again,

“Are you going to sit down or not?” She chuckles tucking her hair behind her ear, Jimin notices the magazine in her hand.

“Um…oppa has any customer come in here saying they are a reporter or something?” Jimin stares at her dumbfounded,

“What’re you talking about?”

“Um, I mean it…its jus…um how often do you read magazines?”

“Not very often, why?”

“Um…you know what it’s nothing, let’s eat,” she says sitting down. Jimin scoffs, sighing, he opens the small refrigerator their per
