Zico-

I ran up and grabbed Chaerin’s forearm, “Coach Chaerin and I will pair up!” I smiled inwardly to myself when Coach nodded and checked us off the clipboard in his hand.

“Alright is everyone paired off?”

“Anniyo Brad-ssi doesn’t seem to have a partner,” Chae said pointing at him. I couldn’t help but furrow my brows, “oh right it seems like Yoona and Brad will have to pair up,” coach said. I heard Chae chuckle. She was giving him thumbs up? What are they planning exactly..

“Hey what was that just then?” I whispered to Chae. She shrugged off my question, “don’t worry about it. Uh…let’s stretch instead.” I looked around to see everyone else had already started their partner stretches.

“Ladies first,” I gestured laying her down on the gym floor rather abruptly. “Ha how nice of you to offer,” she said as I grabbed a hold of her ankles. “5, 6, 7” she said strained as she kept pushing herself up, “Um Chaerin the reason I wanted to be your partner was” I started to say when she cut me “-am I glistening too much?” she asked fanning herself. I rolled my eyes. Only at a time like this, a time of me confessing my love does she come in with her bad timing. Only Chae would care about her appearance during gym class! “I guess not” she said looking around at the couples around us. She continued with her counting as if I never had opened my mouth to speak with her, “8, 9, 10! Done. Switch” she commanded. I nodded my head as I started to do my rep of sit-ups. I winced feeling her knees press into my feet. “Ahn Chaerin, I’ve changed!” At this point I shouted it loud enough for the entire gym to hear. My eyes were closed I couldn’t face her—this wasn’t how I wanted to confess. I peaked at her threw one eye to see her expression. She wasn’t even looking at me!

I am not really worried about Brad. He’s pretty smooth with the ladies I mean he did get me didn’t he? I squinted my eyes to locate him: all the way across the gym. Him and Yoona were laughing. Laughter. That’s always a good sign. He’ll be fine I couldn’t help but smile at my work. I turned back to Zico and realized he had been talking to me, “oh Zico eh were you by any chance saying something?” I asked him. Some guy out of nowhere scoffed, “he just confessed to you idiot!” a girl yelled.

And all this time I thought he had been a huge flirt and grown tired of me. I looked down at him and his eyes were closed tightly. I lightly hit his chest, “Zi-zico is this true?” I practically whispered. I could hardly get the words out deep down I was so happy. “Can we talk after gym class?” he asked getting up. I found myself frowning as I got up too.

Hey guys ! Sorry that there was a longtime no update; I've almost totally abandoned this fic because I had writer's block. Call it an unplanned hiatus but I am back now. THank you for all the new subscribers and people that stayed with me through this fic! More to come xx.
