It was usually me waking Jungkook whenever it was his birthday, but this time, I woke up with him barging in and jumping on top of me. What a kid. 

"It's my birthday!" he announced, a party hot on top of his head. He grinned at me with his bunny teeth and placed a party hat on my head, too. 

"Be quiet." I growled, my eyes fluttering open to see my alarm clock. "It's 6AM, what do you want me to do?" 

"We have breakfast! You're lucky my birthday is on a Saturday!" he said lightly pulling on my arm. "We eat at my favourite restaurant with the others!" 

I couldn't help but giggle on how childish he was being, all excited for his birthday. I gave in and groaned, sitting up, my forehead hitting his. 

"Ow!" we said in union. He placed a hand on his forehead and stood up. "I think I'm going to have a bruise.. but anyways, it's my birthday, so hurry up Yuna, I'm going to go to the living room to wake up Baekhyun!" he shut the door closed to let me prepare. 

I ended up wearing a white t shirt, with a jacket on top, black leggings, and some rubber shoes (which were too big for me, but Baekhyun insisted me to wear it in the meantime). I tied my hair into a ponytail and walked out of my room. 

"What took you so long?" Jungkook scoffed, as him and Baekhyun were eating some cookies in the flower shop. 

"It literally took me 3 minutes to get ready. Both of you are so inhuman." I rolled my eyes and grabbed one of the cookies. "Since it's your birthday, treat us?" 

"Nah." he stuck out his tongue. 

Baekhyun laughed and opened the door for the both of us. "I didn't get him anything for his birthday, so I think I need to treat him for today." 

I playfully rolled my eyes and made my in front of them, walking backwards, my hands pocketed. "You do know that means you have to pay for all of our meals." 

He shrugged. "I have money." 

Jungkook pointed at Baekhyun teasingly. "Yuna, you are going to marry a rich man." 

I flushed and playfully hit him in the shoulder, as Baekhyun just laughed it off. "I'm assuming the others are already there?" 

"Most likely." I replied, scoffing at Jungkook. I tightened my grip around my shoulderbag, which was luckily big enough to fit my gift for him. "We all have to be the one adjusting for Jungkook." 

"That's a lie!" he stuck his tongue out. 

"I'm going to the river with you, pabo." I said, lightly bonking him on the head. "Because I'm a good friend." 

His smile dropped. "Y-Yuna.. are you sure?" 

I rolled my eyes and gave them a reassuring smile. Even Baekhyun frowned when I mentioned coming with them. "I'm going to be alright." 

He sighed and nodded, before directing his gaze in front. We waved at the three people waiting for us at the restaurant, who luckily happened to get us seats. 

I sat between Jaehee and Hobi while the other three sat in front of us. 

We ordered our food. 

"Oh my god!" Hobi said in english, staring at me with wide eyes as I enumerated the food I wanted. "Yuna, how can you be ordering so much?" 

"How can you be so light when you eat like.." Baekhyun's voice trailed off. 

"A monster!" Namjoon finished, as I handed my menu back to the waiter, who was on his second page. 

Jungkook and Jaehee sighed, obviously not even surprised anymore. "I can eat all of those in one sitting! I'm glad Baekhyun's nice enough to pay for that!" 

He laughed awkwardly, and I felt him lightly kick my foot below the table. "Hmm." 

I flashed him a playful glare and lightly kicked him back. 

I felt Jaehee shift beside me. So as the other boys talked about nonsense, I turned my head. "Hey, is something the matter? Is something bothering you?" 

She lowered her gaze and bit her lip. "I.. I got Jungkook a gift, but I don't know if he'll like it.." 

She lightly pulled up a bag from under the table. I smiled. "Are you kidding? You didn't even tell me about it. But either way - I'm sure he'll love it." 

"Yeah?" she looked up with a grin. I nodded and gave her a reassuring smile. 

"Ah, so you're a big fan of IU?"

"Jungkook." Jaehee cleared and looked up at the male. Jungkook turned his head and gave her a questioning look. She blushed and quickly placed the bag on the table. "For you." 

"Talk about crushes." Namjoon ooh'ed. 

Jungkook blushed slightly, then took the bag. He opened it and pulled out an iron man figure, which made him smile and about 2 bags of plain t-shirts. 

"Woah, I guess you seem to know him more now, Jaehee." I laughed as he put them back in the bag and flashed Jaehee a thankful smile. 

"Ne, thank you, Jaehee! That was thoughtful." he placed two fingers on the edge of his lips and pulled them up, gesturing for Jaehee to smile as she was too flushed about it. 

Jaehee gave him an awkward smile in return. 

I sighed and placed the box on the table, as he was just directly in front of me. "Here." 

"Girls are so thoughtful!" Hobi smiled widely. 

"Hmm." Namjoon and Baekhyun nodded. 

"I feel a bit guilty now, I only get to treat him food." Baekhyun laughed softly. 

"Don't be." I gave them a reassuring smile as Jungkook opened the box, to find himself face to face with timberland shoes I've been saving up for. 

His eyes glimmered. "Yuna.. you actually saved up for this?" 

I shrugged. "Thank you for being with me for 16 years." 

He smiled and placed it beside him. "Yuna.. Jaehee, thank you." 

"Yeah, give them more credit." Namjoon nodded. 

"Hey." Hobi raised his hand and turned to us. "Did anyone bring sunscreen? We wouldn't want to have sunburns." 

Everyone stayed quiet, making Hobi smile wider and bring out 6 bottles of sunscreen. "Well, I would never let you burn your skin! Here's one for each of you!" 

"I feel stupid for not being able to think of that." Namjoon said as he tucked the sunscreen bottle in his bag. "Glad you remembered, Hoseok." 

Then the food came. As we ate, we talked about random things. Like the dance competition, our ambitions, school.. 

Before we even knew it, we were off to the river. "Look, there's another route to the river besides the school. Cause the once in campus is dangerous." Jungkook started, as we turned to one of the streets. 

"I never really noticed that the town's this beautiful." Baekhyun, who was beside me, murmured as we approached some stairs that leads to the river. 

"Man, you guys are lucky." Jungkook laughed. "When me and Yuna last went here, there were no stairs! We had to walk down the hill." he was first to walk down. 

"That was dangerous!" Hobi exclaimed as he carefully walked down the steps. 

"Why am I not surprised?" Namjoon sighed as he went next. 

Baekhyun lends out his hand for me to take. Smiling, I took it, and I couldn't help but blush as he held my hand until we were down safely. 

"How cute." Jaehee snickered behind us, her phone out, either taking selfies or pictures. 

"Oh, thank god." Hobi said once his eyes landed on some huts nearby. Luckily, there weren't much people, only about 2 groups, excluding us. 

We occupied one of the huts. 

Jaehee blushed madly when Jungkook started taking off his shirt and put on one of the t-shirts she gave him. Jaehee was wearing long sleeves and some shorts. 

The others were in swimming attire or in a t-shirt, which was good. 

"I'm off!" Jungkook said, running off to the river with a laugh. 

"Picture first, Yuna!" Hobi said, moving closer to me and taking a picture of both of us. "Ah! You're so adorable!" 

I felt a tap on m shoulder. I turned my head and found Baekhyun smiling at me, now in a white shirt. "I'm going, stay safe, alright?" he placed a hand on my shoulder and exited the hut. 

As he was walking away, I saw him send me a flying kiss. I laughed and waved at him. 

I crossed my legs and watched as they had fun in the water. Believe me, I wish I wasn't afraid.. that I could swim.. 

I turned my head and found myself face to face with some bread. And being the food enthusiast, I grabbed it and started eating, as I watched my friends have fun. 

Soon, they exited the water to take a break. 

"Are you getting bored?" Hobi asked, lightly poking my cheek. 

I shook my head and took a bite out of my 5th piece of bread. "Nah." 

"Man, is your stomach an endless pit?" Namjoon laughed softly as he dried his hair with a towel. "I'm pumped up to swim again! This is fun." 

"Well, the day just got started." Jaehee shrugged, chewing some candy. Where she got it, I have no idea, but wow, was she into sweets. 

"Let's play volleyball!" Hobi insisted. 

Jungkook leaned on the hut. "We don't even have a ball." 

"I have one!" Jaehee raised her hand and pulled out an inflatable volleyball, that didn't have any air. "But someone needs to blow into it, I guess." 

I lend out my hand and took it from her. "I can do this in 4 minutes!" 

"I don't believe you.." Namjoon said, sitting across from me, then grinned. "Prove it!" 

"Ah, don't underestimate her!" Jungkook laughed, running over to where we were. 

"I'm setting a timer." Baekhyun pulled out his phone. 

"I bet she can do it." Jaehee placed a hand on her hip. 

"Yuna, that's dangerous!" Hobi scolded. 

"That's what you always say." I sighed, then reassured him I would be fine. "I'm starting.." I started blowing lightly into the inflatable. 

"Hmm.. I guess that's pretty good." Namjoon nodded, crossing his arms. 

"Are you kidding me?" Jaehee exclaimed. "She so got it in less than 4 minutes!" she said, as I handed her the now inflatable ball. "Suyung, you're the best!" 

"Seriously, you're pretty odd." Baekhyun laughed as the others already went out to play ball. "I mean that in a good way." 

I cocked an eyebrow. "You're not going with them?" 

For a while, I saw a look of pity in his eyes. Then he shrugged and sat beside me. "Nah. I think you're getting pretty lonely." 

I scoffed and rolled my eyes. "I'm not lonely. Go." 

"I want to be be with you for a while.." he said, smiling cheekily. His eyes fluttered a bit. 

"You look tired." 

He shrugged and ran his fingers through his hair.  "I slept late. Sorry." 

I turned my head to where our friends were, then to him. I sighed and scooted a bit. "Lay on my lap in the meantime.. I think it'll take a while for them to finish." 

He hesitated for a while, but ended up doing it anyways. He looked up at me. 

"Suyung.." he murmured. "You're cute." 

I rolled my eyes and looked down on him. "You always say that. Has Hobi's words been rubbing on you?" 

He laughed softly and moved his hand upwards to put a strand of hair behind my ear. "No.. nevermind.. you're beautiful." 

I pursed my lips and smiled at him. 

"You're the most.." he paused, and I couldn't help but admire his attractive eyes. "Beautiful thing I've ever seen." 

It would've sound cheesy for others, but I swear.. if you heard someone telling you that.. your heart will surely skip a beat like he did with mines. 

I blushed, looking away for a while, then glanced down on him again. 

I smiled and ran my fingers through his hair. "You look really tired.. go to sleep, Baekhyun." 

He grinned at me, as I felt his hand find it's way to intertwine itself with mines.
