"8/20?? Seriously? Ughhhh!!"

Sana scoffed at the score shown on her laptop screen in annoyance. She had attempted the online English quiz for the 3rd time, yet the result was still not much improved.

"Why is this so hard? Am I really that stupid? Why should I learn English anyway I will pay all money I have to hire a translator than learning all these grammar stuff!!" Sana said to herself. 

Meanwhile Mark was walking to his room, but he overheard someone talking in one of the room he passed by. Most of his housemates were downstairs, so who the hell was talking?

Mark reversed his steps, only to see Sana was talking to herself-from Mark's observation- in an annoyed way. Mark walked closer to the door that was left open in the first place and lightly knock. Sana failed to notice him, so Mark cleared his throat instead. The girl almost jumped at her seat while looking at the door in widened eyes, before she let out a relieved sigh when she saw Mark at the door.

"You suprised me!" She said, clutching on her chest. Mark chuckled.

"I knocked but you didn't hear me," 

"Come in, oppa. Do you need anything?" Sana asked. Mark carefully stepped inside the room. It's stated in the rule that the guys can never enter the girls' room and vice versa, so Mark had never been in one. He helped cleaning up the room once when there was a new member moving in but he'd never been in anyone's room. There's not much difference except for the curtain was purple in colour, it smells more soft- like lavender than the usual wood smell of the boys, and a lot tidier than the boys' room too. Whoops, that sounds like a lot of difference.

"Nah, I was just walking to my room. It seems like you're the one in problem," Mark said.  Sana immediately blushed.

"Uh... You heard that?" She asked shyly. Mark smiled while nodding.

"So what's that fuss is about?" Mark took  a seat on the bean bag nearby Sana's study desk. Sana sighed.

"Actually I'm having  trouble in my English subject. I have a test this Monday so I tried practicing with the online quiz but I did soooo bad, I think dogs can bark English better than me," Sana said. Mark laughed at the younger girl's words. Sana blushed again in embarassment and she grabbed the pikachu stuffed toy on her desk and threw it at Mark.

"Don't laugh! I feel offended!" Sana said. Mark calmed himself down and suddenly felt bad when he looked at Sana who was pouting.

"No, no, I'm not laughing because you said you're bad in English. I'm laughing because, how on earth does dog bark in English?" Mark asked and chuckled again. Sana who just realized what she said shyly rubbed her nape.

"T-that's not the point!" 

"So you're having problem with English? I can help that, I'm called Cali Boy for a reason," Mark said, flipping his non-existent long hair. 

"Oh, right!! Oh my God how can I forget that? So you can help me?? Pleaseeee help me I really need to pass this subject, I don't want to take it again on other semester!" Sana said, looking at Mark with hopeful puppy eyes.

"Hmmm....." Mark pretended to think.

"Oppa, pleaseeee!" Sana said, blinking her eyes at the older guy. Mark bit his inner cheek to stop himself for laughing. He'd say yes to teach her anyway but getting to see her aegyo wasn't a bad thing too.

"Oppa, come on, you offered me in the first place," Mark finally laughed hearing how Sana slowly became annoyed at him.

"Alright, alright. Sureeee, just let me take my phone first, then we'll start okay?" Mark said, before he smiled seeing Sana's eager nod at his words.

Bambam looked up from his phone screen when he heard the girls laughing. Turned out they were listening stories from Nayeon. His eyes suddenly caught the sight of the new member, Tzuyu, who was laughing along the other girls.

"Hey, Yugyeom," Bambam nudged Yugyeom's side. Yugyeom just hummed in respond, as he was busy looking at a dance video on Youtube.

"What do you think of the new girl?" Bambam asked, despite the lack of attention his best friend gave.

"Tzuyu? Why?" 

"I asked you first, what do you think about her?" Bambam repeated his question.

"I don't know. I think she's pretty," Yugyeom said, trying to satisfy his friend.

"Right? I think she'll look good with you," 

"Pffft, what?!?!" Yugyeom asked, a little bit louder than he intended. He caught Dahyun and Mina looking at them but quickly turned away since they saw that he was just talking to Bambam.

"Your height matches her perfectly, bro. And you said it yourself that she's pretty. Try to hit on her," Bambam said with a teasing smile.

"Just because my height fits her? You're being ridiculous," Yugyeom said.

"Ah, come on, get over Chaeyoung already. You've been single for like... what? 1 year?"

"Who said I'm not over Chaeyoung?" Yugyeom defended himself. He tends to become extra sensitive when his ex-girlfriend's name were brought into the conversation.

"Then try to get to know Tzuyu. I dare you," 

"Sometimes I wonder why I'm friend with you," Bambam chuckled.

"Because I'm amazing. You'll thank me later, bud,"

"Ahhh , !!" Youngjae screamed as his body moved along the movement of the car he was controlling. Jeongyeon laughed as she watched Youngjae almost jumped up of his sitting. 

"You're so into the game," Jeongyeon commented.

"I play game as if it's my life. I dedicate my soul, and my body to gaming," Youngjae said dramatically as he continue fighting for his life.

"By the way, you remember the guy that I did my assignment together with?" Jeongyeon said while inserting a potato chip in .

"Wonpil? Right? The one who like you--wait, feed me," 

"Yup, him," Jeongyeon held the potato chip in front of Youngjae's lips and the guy bit onto it.

"What's with him?" Youngjae ask with his mouth full. Jeongyeon made a disgusted face, but it's not like it's the first time she witnessed something like that so she just ignore it.

"He chatted me just now. It's our first time talking about, you know, stuffs other than assignment thingy," 

"Stuffs like 'the weather is nice today'?" Youngjae asked. Jeongyeon laughed.

"Exactly! He said that just before I told you this!" Jeongyeon said in amusement and Youngjae laughed.

"Bruh the guy is so lame. You must be the first girl he try to get. Aaaaaa," Youngjae opened his mouth, demanding Jeongyeon to give him more chips and the girl did so.

"So what do you think of him?" Youngjae asked. 

"Uh... well, he's nice. So far he doesn't make me uncomfortable or anything," Youngjae smiled at his best friend's reply.

"Awww my Jeongyeon is a grown up girl already. She's gonna have her first boyfriend already~" Youngjae sang. Jeongyeon punched Youngjae's side and the guy immediately screamed in pain. Jeongyeon just laughed. Serves you right, Choi Youngjae.

"By the way, make sure you bring that Wonpil guy to see me one day," Youngjae said, suddenly becoming serious.

"Why? Oh, you want to tell him to take care of me? To treat me right? Or else he'll be dead? Wow, I can't believe you love me that much!" Jeongyeon said. At the same time, Youngjae won the game and while waiting for it to load, he looked to his side, staring at Jeongyeon straight to her eyes. He then gave the girl a wide, overly sweet smile.

"Nope. To tell him that you're violent---AAAH AAAH SOMEONE SAVE ME!!"

Jeongyeon tighten her arm around Youngjae's neck- headlocking the guy who was screaming for his life.

"I'll show you all my skills so you can tell him without missing any details,"

"Stop smiling, I know you're in love," Mina said while looking at the reflection of Sana on her mirror. However her words only made the said girl grinned wider than she already was. Mina chuckled before she walked to her bed and laid down.

"Tsk tsk, are you that happy?" 

"Of course! A whole day with my crush next to me, it's a miracle that I'm still alive," Sana replied. Mina shook her head.

"Can't relate," 

"You have to see him, he's really cool. He can explain everything in the book in detail but he always check on me whether I get it or not. He patiently repeat everything I don't understand," Sana said while holding her hands together as she looked up like the love of her life was up there, looking at her in dreamy eyes.

"Actually if you raised up your hand in class the lecturer would explain it to you again too," Mina said, earning a glare from Sana.

"Don't ruin my love story!" Sana said, and Mina  laughed.

"You didn't do anything weird right? Mark oppa didn't notice anything, right?" Mina asked. Sana grinned.

"Of course not! I know how to keep it inside!" Sana said. 

The two girls continue talking about other topics, but what they didn't know is, there's someone behind the door who overheard their conversation.

Uh-oh... who's behind the door..... Could it be Mark?!?!?!

Btw, because I'm lazy to mention in the story, here is the list of who is roommate with who.

Dahyun-Tzuyu, Nayeon-Jeongyeon, Sana-Mina, Jaebum-Youngjae, Mark-Jackson, Bambam-Yugyeom and Jinyoung alone.
