My Prince
Falling in-love...after getting divorced?!(Kyuhyun's POV)
I looked around, making sure that Kim-seonsaeng wasn't anywhere near me.
God, sometimes, that lady scares me.
She's very aggresive.
I don't understand why she wasn't one of the doctors chosen to be a motivative speaker to the children.
I sgihed as I dusted my clothes.
They said Seohyun's class was here somewhere.
I wonder where...
"The prince gently put the slipper onto Cinderella's feet.
'Ah~! It's a perfect fit!' her stepmother and stepsisters exclaimed."
I smiled, unknowingly.
I decided to follow her voice.
I peered through the doors of each class until I stopped.
A beautiful, composed lady was sitting on the ground with kids around her.
Her long hair hung loose and her eyes sparkled when the kids tried to tell her something.
She was holding a book in her hands, and was smiling away.
You know, that kind of smile that makes you melt.
She looked completely 'herself'.
It was none other than my wife.
"Seonsaengnim~!" a little girl in pigtails raised her hand.
Seohyun gestured to her.
"What happens after that?" she asked.
Seohyun looked confused.
"After what?" she returned a question.
"You know, after 'happily ever after'.
What happens after that?" she asked.
Seohyun laughed.
"Well, I don't know.
The story ends there," she replied.
"Aye?"
All the kids seemed unconvinced.
"So they get married and then it ends there?" another girl asked.
"We don't know that for sure," she said.
"Come here~" she whispered as she leaned forward.
They formed a little huddle.
"I'll tell you guys a little secret.
There is no such thing as a happy ending," she said.
"What?!" they yelled, displeased.
They took the words out of my mouth.
Is she trying to kill the kids' hopes and dreams of true love?
"Shush~!" Seohyun put a finger on her lips.
"It's a secret," she said.
"So does that mean that I won't find my prince?"
One girl looked like she was about to cry.
Seohyun laughed.
"I never said that," she said.
"The thing is, when you find the one you know you're meant to be with, there's no such thing as an 'ending'.
Would you like something as beautiful and as pleasant as love to end?" she asked, rhetorically.
"No~" They all responded.
"Exactly. You want something like that to last forever.
That's why you have to give it your all to keep it alive and make sure you don't...lose it," she finished.
"You can lose it?" one kid asked.
She nodded.
"If you're not careful," she said.
"What about seonsaengnim?
Did you find your prince already?" they asked.
Seohyun was drawn aback.
She nodded.
"For sure," she replied.
"Really?
What's he like?" they asked, fascinated.
She looked up, dreamily.
"Well, he's tall, and handsome, and dashing, and funny," she said slowly.
They giggled.
"and he's my bestfriend," she finished.
Bestfriend?
"Seonsaengnim~!"
Another kid raised a hand up.
"How did you keep it alive?
You know, so you don't lose it?"
Seohyun's face fell.
I...wanted to run upto her and comfor her.
But I knew very well that I couldn't.
And that fact...makes me go crazy.
"I...actually lost it," she replied, softly.
My chest suddenly started to hurt.
Her face beamed again, like magic.
"So you have to be careful not to be like me," she said.

(Seohyun's POV)
I stared into the distance, watching the kids play.
They looked so free and...
happy.
I kind of envied them...
"Seo-seonsaeng,"
I turned around at the voice of Yoon-seonsaeng.
He handed me a cup of coffee, and I accepted it gratefully.
He settled next to me as I took a sip.
"How did the speaking thing go?" he asked.
"So-so," I smirked.
He laughed.
"I heard the kids talking about some 'secret' they said Seo-seonsaengnim told them.
They let me in on it too, if I promised not to tell anyone else," he said.
I swallowed hard, then bit my bottom lip.
"Well, they asked me about what happens after 'happily ever after' so I kinda just..."
I trailed off when I realised I was explaining myself.
Yoon-seonsaeng just laughed.
"You know, you do have a cute side after all," he said.
What's that supposed to mean?
I fake laughed.
"The thing is, I wanted to let you know that I'm ready," he said.
I turned to face him.
"I'm ready to give it my all so that you can forget about the prince charming you lost.
I can wait, you know.
I mean, you never know, maybe the love you had with him just wasn't meant to last forever."
I found myself staring into his eyes.
Maybe...he's right.
