Date 3: A promise...
Falling in-love...after getting divorced?!I sat in Kyuhyun’s car in silence as he as drived.
Ever since we broke the hug yesterday, it’s been so awkward between us.
In fact, it was driving me crazy.
It was like high school all over again.
It reminded me of how we were before the divorce, and I’m not sure it’s a very good thing.
Maybe agreeing to this three-day date wasn’t a good thing at all…
I stole a glance at his profile, his dark brown hair turning light under the sun, and the bridge of his nose so perfectly sculpted.
Nope, it was definitely a good thing, just not a smart thing.
I gasped and turned away when he turned to look at me.
I heard him chuckle.
“So, I was thinking of eating at the restaurant near the Thai restaurant that we used to hate but then closed down and then they put up the Trinket place which we loved.
I haven’t eaten there in ages!
What do you think?” Kyuhyun asked.
I turned to face him, a little bit bolder.
“Really?
I thought you’d have brought one of your prospective marriage dates there along the years,” I giggled as a joke.
Kyuhyun’s face looked serious all of a sudden.
“I won’t eat there with anyone else other than you,”
I cleared my throat.
So much for breaking the awkwardness towards us.
“Actually, I was thinking that since you planned the last two dates, we’ll do something that I planned for today,” I told him.
“Really?
You planned something?” his face looked so excited I just couldn’t help laughing.
“Yeah,” I nodded.

“Come on,” I beckoned Kyuhyun, who was looking around the nostalgic place with an expression I couldn’t read.
Instead of hurrying (like I wanted him to), he actually paused.
I rolled my eyes and pulled on his arm.
“Come quickly,” I told him, dragging him off with me across the garden.
(Kyuhyun’s POV)
I got back to my senses when we reached the rose gardens.
I tugged back, and she paused, turning around to look at me.
“What are you trying to do?” I asked, my eyes defensive.
She let go of my hand as she bit her bottom lip.
“N-nothing…” she muttered, losing her ‘Legendary Cool’.
I wanted to say something, but I decided not to.
After being together for a long time, I figured she knew what I meant.
She sighed, giving up.
“Alright, alright,” she said.
“Remember before our divorce,” she choked on the word ‘divorce’.
I think I was gonna choke too.
“We promised to each other that we would meet, right here where we got married, on our 10th year anniversary, remember?”
Of course I remember.
I was the one who suggested it.
“Where are you getting at?” I asked.
“”Well, I just figured, since we probably won’t be able to do it exactly as how we imagined back then, we might as well do it now,” she replied.
“Wha…what are you saying?” I fumed.
Seohyun looked shock at my reaction.
“I just meant-----“
She stopped halfway when I started breathing heavily.
When I was ready, I turned towards her.
I looked at her in the eyes.
“Listen to me,” I said.
She was all-ears.
I sighed.
How could I ever get it in her head that I’ll do everything it takes to get her back?
“You don’t need to do that, because we will celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary together,"
She opened to speak, but I cut in.
"That’s a promise,”
