Falling in-love...after getting divorced?!

I enjoyed the fresh air by myself.

Yoon-seonsaeng came in first after all the guys were beckoning him to enjoy some drinks with them.

I told him to, anyways.

I needed...to be alone for awhile.

As much as I needed him to be with me for awhile.

"Uhm, excuse me,"

A poised and feminine voice called out to me.

I turned around.

Kyuhyun's girl.

She was smiling at me half-heartedly.

"Uhm, everyone's asking you to come in," she said.

I found it incredibly hard to smile when I didn't have a reason to, but I'm Seo Juhyeon.

I had the 'legendary composure'.

I flashed her a smile.

"I'll come in a bit later.

The fresh air's really good out here," I said.

She looked convince, and her half-hearted smile turned into a whole-hearted one.

"Then do you mind if I come join you for a while?" she asked.

I was surprised by her request.

"Uhm, sure," I muttered.

She made her way across the grass and then sat next to me, smiling.

I smiled back.

"I'm Ahn Sohee," she extended her hand for me to shake.

I took it, reluctantly, before breaking apart.

"I'm Seo Juhyeon, but people just normally call me Seohyun," I said.

I felt like I had to give her a reply, so I introduced myself too.

"I know," she said, half-embarassed.

"Everyone back there said that you knew Kyuhyun-oppa since middle school."

Kyuhyun-oppa?

I suddenly remembered when we were in juniour high and Kyuhyun begged me to call him oppa.

He even asked that from me as a gift for his 16th birthday.

He said it was his 'dream' to be called oppa by someone 'as cute as me'.

I refused, of course.

It was too cutesy and sweet for me.

Looks like he got his wish granted by Sohee.

I could only smile forcedly.

"What was he like?" she asked, looking incredibly curious.

I clenched my jaw.

"Exactly how he is now," I answered.

She looked...fascinated.

It then dawned on me.

This girl...is in-love with my ex-husband.

"Really?

That's a relief," she smiled to herself.

"Why is that?" I asked, truly wanting to know.

"Well, Kyuhyun-oppa always seemed to good to be true.

I wondered if it's all just a facade, but hearing that from Seohyun-ssi makes me feel really happy and relieved.

At least I know that even after we get married, he'll stay the same," she gushed.

"Married?" I snapped, without thinking.

She nodded happily.

"Yes, married.

This is a marriage date* afterall," she giggled.

"Well, it's too early to say, but considering this is our third date, I think things are going pretty well.

Even though I was the one who requested the dates, he came afterall.

Besides, I've already decided," she grinned.

So that's what it was.

A marriage date.

[♥]———————[♥]

I looked at all the different foods.

Suddenly, a big smile started to spread across my face.

I bit my bottom lip.

Everything...looks so nice.

I felt someone was looking at me.

I looked up.

Kyuhyun was staring right at me.

My smile faded.

I looked away too quickly and switched my eyes back to the food.

But of course, that didn't last long.

I glanced over to his plate, careful that my eyes don't go up and look straight at his face.

Why does he have...peach tarts on his plate?

He's allergic to peaches.

I looked up.

It all became too clear.

He was just randomly and absent-mindedly putting food on his plate.

His eyes...were on me.

I caught myself before laughing.

"You're allergic to peaches," I told him.

He looked down and his eyes widened in surprise.

"Uhm, yeah, this...isn't for me," he stammered, obviously making an excuse.

So it's for her?

I found myself frowning.

I looked over Kyuhyun's shoulder.

His date looked so awkward.

She was sitting...where I was sitting before.

In my seat.

In my position.

I swallowed hard.

"It's not very polite to leave your girlfriend alone in a place where she knows no one, no matter what," I said.

Kyuhyun looked over his shoulder.

"She's not my girlfriend," he replied, almost like re-assuring me.

"Besides, she'll be fine.

She's used to these things," he added, not seeming to care.

I decided not to say anything else.

I got back to deciding which food I should try first.

Should I try the peach tarts?

I didn't used to eat peach foods much when I was with Kyuhyun.

Maybe I'll just...

"It's a good match...you and Yoon-seonsaeng," he said, bitter with sarcasm.

"I saw you at the balcony before.

You guys looked like you were shooting some kind of movie."

I exhaled, annoyed.

"I see the word 'privacy' means nothing to you," I breathed.

"You know what, you're right.

He is a good match for me.

He treats me kindly, and he knows exactly what I need to hear.

He gives me the comfort I need and want," I said.

I could feel my face turning red.

He scoffed, obviously annoyed as he suddenly dropped the tong on the plate, making a racket.

I looked around.

Everyone was looking at us.

Kyuhyun didn't seem to care though.

He was still looking at me with a pissed-off expression.

My heart picked up its pace, and I tried hard to keep my 'legendary composure' on.

"Good luck with him then.

I wish you all the happiness in the world," he said, though his words sounded even sharper than a knife and it was as if he meant the exact opposite.

Kyuhyun...looked incredibly annoyed.

Intimidating.

But it didn't scare me.

For some reason, instead of feeling insecure, I felt so sorry to him.

I knew, somehow, that he felt like he was abandoned.

Like I left him.

Just like how he left me.

But until now, I can't bring myself to hate him for bringing up divorce, three years before.

Afterall, it was all my fault that we got to that stage in the first place.

*marriage date - a marriage date is like a blind date arranged by rich wives/mothers for their kids to meet equally rich or good potential future in-law.

(A/N) *sigh* You guys are right. No matter what I say, since I haven't written it in Kyuhyun's point of view yet, you'll still hate him.

I guess I'll have to watch poor Kyu get berated a little longer.onigiri_crying.gif

P.S. I changed the poster. The previous one was so crappy that I just had to change it! >_< Let me know what you guys think ;)
