(Kyuhyun's POV)

Seohyun stared at him in horror.

Yoon-seonsaeng...just looked confused and bewildered.

I sighed heavily.

How are we ever going to fix this?

"Haena, is this your little brother?" Mina asked brightly, eyeing the tall guy next to Haena and in front of Seohyun.

"What little? It's not like he's not towering me enough already!" Haena laughed.

She turned to me with a smile.

"Hi, Kyu-oppa," she gushed.

I could only force a smile.

Out of nowhere, Seohyun suddenly grabbed my arm and linked our fingers together.

"Hey, Haena," she smiled her 'viper' smile.

"Could you have guessed? We're married!" she laughed, obviously forced.

My eyes widened.

I don't think Seohyun really thought about anything before saying anything.

And she said my reactions weren't quick enough...

For a moment there, Seohyun lost her 'legendary composure'.

I slowly turned to Yoon-seonsaeng, who had the same expression as her older sister.

Shocked, surprised, puzzled, lost for words.

Yoon-seonsaeng had a reason to, but Haena?

I...didn't know what to do in that situation.

By then, everyone was giving us weird looks and there was this awkward silence that dragged on.

And by this time, Seohyun realized what she'd done, because I saw, at the corner of my eyes, that she closed her eyes gently in frustration.

Secretly, I smiled to myself.

At least now, I get to tell her 'I told you so'.

This doesn't happen very often, because she always seems to be right.

But that's beside the point.

"Haha, I mean, everyone would've thought so already, right?

Seohyun and Kyuhyun only had each other!" Soori laughed nervously, trying desperately to lighten the mood.

"In what way is that true?" Haena snapped.

"In many more ways than one," Seohyun retaliated, obviously annoyed out of her wits.

I could do nothing but close my eyes in annoyance.

She has got to stop doing that!

"Yo-you guys should take a seat first," Mina suttered as she got up and tried to push Haena gently towards her seat across us.

Everyone else muttered in agreement at a failed attempt to take away the awkward silence.

Yoon-seonsaeng followed, but his eyes were still on us.

Seohyun hung her head down, looking as guilty as ever.

I could only sigh.

What's happened has happened.

All we got to do now is tell the truth.

I affectionately her hair, as if telling her everything will be fine.

She let me.

(Seohyun's POV)

The whole time, I could only feel Yoon-seonsaeng's cold stare at me.

I tried to avoid his gaze as best I could, but it was still awkward.

I felt incredibly guilty to this guy who was nothing but honest and truthful towards me.

How I must've hurt him...

To top it off, it seems as if Kyuhyun being married didn't put Haena off one bit.

Her flirty remarks and giggles toward Kyuhyun made me angry enough to want to strangle the life out of her.

I think I prefer Sohee way better.

Not like Kuhyun responded to Haena at all.

It just annoyed me that after ten years, she's still not giving in to the fact that Kyuhyun chose me.

He married me.

I mean, of course now, that's not really the case...

These thoughts made my throat dry.

I took a sip of red wine.

I always enjoyed being in the balcony of a restaurant.

It gives me time to clear my head and think.

"Am I supposed to ask what went on back there?"

I turned around at his voice.

All I managed to get out was "Yoon-seonsaeng,"

He laughed under his breath as he made his way down next to me.

"Whenever I see you, you're always thinking of something, deep in your thoughts, and you'd always be surprised to see me-----almost annoyed," he said.

"That's not true," I muttered.

Well, about the 'annoyed' part anyways.

...I don't think?

He breathed in the cold air and sighed.

I clenched my jaw.

I really should...say something.

It was my fault in the beginning, right?

I was the one who pushed Kyuhyun to lie as well.

And now I'm in this situation...

We're all in this situation.

All three of us.

And again, it's because of me.

"I---"

"I think I get why you did what you did," he said.

I closed my mouth, letting him speak first.

"I always knew anyways, who 'the prince charming you lost' was.

I just didn't say anything because I have no intentions in uncovering things people try to hide.

What's the point anyways?

It annoys them, and I'm sure, there must be a good reason they hid it in the first place,"

He looked up at me and gave me a crooked smile.

"So I intended to wait until you were ready to tell me yourself.

But this happened..."

He laughed under his breath.

"Sorry," he scratched his head.

I'm the one who lied.

I'm the one who pretended.

I'm the one who wasn't honest to him.

Ans he's the one saying sorry?

He drives me crazy...just like Kyuhyun does.

"You always knew?" I echoed silently.

"Uhm, well, you were always looking at him, and he was always looking at you.

And I could see, though you tried not to care, that you still cared very much.

Cho-seonsaeng was the same towards you,"

He gulped hard when he said Kyuhyun's name.

"I guessed that maybe you two were in a relationship before, and maybe something happened to make you break up, but I never would've guessed you're actually married," he laughed softly.

"Were married," I corrected him gently, though it hurts to say it with my own mouth.

"In anyway, I'm never taking back what I said.

This won't make my feelings for you magically disappear into thin air."

I looked up into his sincere eyes.

"I really, really like you," he said.

I think, for a moment there, my heart fluttered.
