Because I love her
Falling in-love...after getting divorced?!(Kyuhyun's POV)
"Cho-seonsaengnim," an IM came through from Hani at the reception desk.
"A 'Yoon Haena' came to see you," it read.
Yoon Haena?
What does she want?
She must've thought that once eight years have passed, it's okay to seek me out like that again.
I knew so well how Seohyun would've reacted, so I did what I thought was the right thing.
"Sorry, Hani-ssi, but please don't let her through," I replied.
A reply came not even a second later.
She must've already known what I was going to say and had a reply ready.
That or she hoped my reply would something along the lines.
"Arasseoyo," she replied.
I slumped back on my desk.
[♥]———————[♥]
I sighed heavily when the next patient came through the door.
Haena walked towards the patients' bed and sat down with a smile.
I closed my eyes for a while, telling myself to calm down and just deal with it.
I should've known that me saying I didn't want to see her was actually gonna stop her.
I looked up, half-hoping she would be gone (but of course she wasn't) and exhaled.
"What is it?" I said.
"Well, doctor," she began, trying to play the innocent patient.
"I'm sick."
I sighed.
"No, you're not, Haena," I told her.
Sick in the head, maybe, but not physically for sure.
I pondered about adding that line, but decided not to.
She wasn't worth it anyway.
"Yes, I am," she said in a high-pitched, matter-of-factly voice.
"I'm heart-sick," she blinked innocently.
I grunted in annoyance.
"Really, Haena?
To be honest, I really don't have time for this.
There are other people out there who actually needs my help-----------"
"Oh, stop exaggerating.
You're not the only doctor in the world.
They'll survive," she dismissed me.
I clenched my jaw as I held back the 'Get out!' just itching to jump off from the back of my tongue.
"Well, I heard your to dear Ara's birthday tomorrow bailed on you, so I came to fill in the position.
I was so hurt that I wasn't your first choice, but, oh well,"
Everything just suddenly went inaudible.
Did she just say...?
"Where did you hear that?" I asked, utterly confused, which was quite annoying since I wanted to be the one with the upper hand and not let Haena have the privilege to toy with me.
"Oh, you didn't hear?" she said in such a sweet and overly-innocent way that made me want to throw up.
"My brother invited Seohyun to a musical performance.
Now we all know how much our Seohyunnie hates that stuff and finds it absolutely boring, but she said yes anyway.
She must really like dear brother that much," she tutted.
I laughed under my breath.
"Will you cut that out now, please?
It's not gonna work," I said.
Haena sat right up.
"What? You don't believe me?" she blinked.
I sighed and tutted.
This girl is completely clueless.
"Yeah, I don't believe you.
Surely you know me well enough to know I trust my wife, right?" I told her.
"Wife? What wife?
You don't have one," she countered.
I clenched my fists.
Up until that point, the only reason I held back on Yoon Haena was because she was a girl.
She's extremely lucky, because if she turned out to be a male, then I definitely would've already beaten the crap out of her long before.
But then, I decided to do what I've always been doing: Keep my calm.
"I did, Haena," I said.
"I had one, and I lost her, but I'm definitely getting her back."
Haena's eyes turned red.
"But why?
It doesn't make sense.
Why would you do that?" she demanded like a little girl begging for lollies.
"Well, because I love her," I replied.

A short update and I'm off to school
Sorry for being MIA for ages guys
A lot of you asked Haena to be killed, but I can't help it.
I did kinda write her as a hateful character...
Buut, oh well :)
