I opened the door, still half-asleep.

"Kyuhyun?" I groaned as I rubbed my eyes.

"GOOD MORNING~!" he held out a bouquet of tulips, my favourite flowers.

A coy smile played on my lips for a split second as I took it from him.

"Uhm, thanks Kyu, but it's barely morning," I said, my voice hoarse and croaky.

I peeped my head out through the door to look outside.

God, it's cold.

"What time is it?" I wondered out loud.

"It's 5:30," Kyuhyun replied eagerly.

"5:30?!" I echoed.

That's just great.

I got woken up at 5:30am by my ex-husband on a Sunday.

Oh well, I can't make him leave now.

"Come in then," I scratched my head.

I left the door open for Kyuhyun to enter.

I heard the door close silently.

"Uhm, do you need anything?

Like, uh, breakfast?" I muttered half-asleep.

I put the flowers down on the kitchen bench.

"Nope, I'm fine," he replied as he sat on the sofa.

"Oh, okay, well then I'll just...go back to bed," I muttered.

"What?

But it's morning already!" Kyuhyun jumped right in front of my tracks.

I sighed as I yawned.

"Fine, fine, I'll get up already," I mumbled.

"It's not like I wasn't used to this when I was still Mrs. Cho.

And besides, I can't really go to sleep while a guest is in my house, right?"

I'll get up," I said, turning to get some coffee.

I saw a look I couldn't read in Kyuhyun's face.

It seemed like he wanted to say something, but is debating whether he should say it or not.

I poured some coffee into our mugs.

Kyuhyun sat on the kitchen bench seat, across me.

I placed the mug in front of him.

We sat in silence as we finished our coffee, and by that time, I was wide awake already.

"Okay, so what now?

What do you want to do today?" I asked.

Kyuhyun looked up and around him, eyeing the entire house.

"I think you need to wash your curtains," he smiled cheekily.

I knew what that meant.

When we were still together, Sunday was cleaning day.

We'd wash the curtains, change the sheets and well, clean the house.

We had heaps of fun, putting the sheets and curtains up and soaking in the warm sun while we were at it.

Well, while it lasted, of course.

I exhaled heavily.

"Okay then, let's get started!" I said.

Kyuhyun grinned.

I turned the vacuum off and wiped my sweat by sliding the back of my hand across my forehead.

I forgot how tiring this was...

"Hyun~!" Kyuhyun called me sweetly from the laundry room.

When I realised my heart skipped a beat, I laughed at myself mockingly.

It turns out that even after being together for more than 20 years, Cho Kyuhyun still has the same effect on me.

And my heart.

"Coming!" I called back as I unplugged the vacuum from the wall socket and headed for the laundry room.

I found Kyuhyun trying to take out the sheets.

"They're finished," he said with an excited smile.

For a moment there, I got lost in his brown eyes.

I realised this a bit later than expected.

I looked away and cleared my throat nervously.

"Uhm, okay, let's go then," I muttered as I tried to avoid his eyes.

(Kyuhyun's POV)

I couldn't help laughing at Seohyun's cute flushed face.

I gathered the sheets into my arms and followed her out the backdoor.

Seohyun started taking the pegs off the empty clothesline.

I stood right next to her, and she seemed to have gotten a fright cause' when she saw me, she nearly jumped.

"Whoa!

You okay?" I laughed.

"Of course!

Why wouldn't I be?" she looked up at me with pink cheeks.

"And stop appearing out of nowhere like that!" she took a good five steps away from me.

"Sorry," I shrugged as I began hanging the white sheets over the line.

Seohyun started pinning them down with the pegs too, careful not to touch me.

We got a bit faster at it too, as time went by.

I hung the last of the pillow covers and adjusted the position, when Seohyun accidentally put a peg ON MY FINGER.

"OUCH!" I yelped as I crashed to the grass.

"Oh my God, are you alright?!" Seohyun freaked as she held my hand, more tightly this time.

She knelt down beside me.

"Yeah, I'm fine.

Just got scared----"

Then, an idea hit me.

"Actually, no, I'm not fine.

I think all the blood circulation stopped here," I said, indicating to my index finger which she just pegged.

I 'cried in pain'.

Seohyun froze and stared at me.

Amusement flickered in her eyes.

"Haha, very funny," she flicked me on my forehead with a smile.

I grinned.

When she was about to get up, I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her down to my lap.

I tightened my arms around her waist and leaned towards her head.

"What are you...?"

"Just for a couple of minutes," I said.

"Just for a couple of minutes, let me hold you."

I felt Seohyun cuddle up to me.

"You said that last time too," she told me.

"I did?" I muttered.

She sighed.

"Don't worry about it," she said.

Seohyun's right.

I should just enjoy this.

I knew so well that a couple of minutes with her in my arms flies so fast, it'll feel like a dream to me.
