[CONTENTID3]The brunch went well except the kimchi part but everything was nice and peaceful. “Let’s eat together again next time, Woori.” Taeyong smiled.

“Yeah, let’s eat together again.” Jaehyun patted Taeyong’s shoulder. Eat together? Again? I’d rather eat with a donkey.

“So, where are we heading now?” My jaw literally dropped right after Jaehyun finished his question. “Ehm.” I bit my lips while staring at Taeyong and back at Jaehyun over and over again.

I seriously didn’t know how to deal with Jaehyun, he could be so irritating sometimes! Correction, all the time!

Before Taeyong got the chance to answer him, his phone vibrates.

Drrt drrt

“Hello, Mr. Son?” Yuta and Winwin swarmed Taeyong. I guess it’s their coach?

“Ah, yes. Yes. We’ll be there right away.” He nodded. “Thank you, Mr. Son.”

So, was this the end of our saturdate?

“I’m so sorry, Woori. The coach called us and told us to come to school because he needs to discuss something about the upcoming competition. But, I’ll take you home first.”

I gave him my widest smile and patted his shoulder. “That’s okay, Taeyong. I can walk home by myself. The competition is far more important!”

“Thank you for being so understanding, Woori. I promise you next time we’ll go together again.”

“Uh, please stop being gross. It’s not like he’s going far away. The school is only twenty minutes walk.” Jaehyun sneered.

Taeyong ignored Jaehyun before waving his hand at me, “Bye, Woori.”

“Bye, Taeyong!” I waved my hand back while watching his back getting farther. “So, where should we go next?”

“Home.” I started to walk from my spot and away form the 4AB. “Okay, let’s go home.” He stood beside me suddenly. I looked over at Johnny, Doyoung, and Ten. They looked confused.

“What about them?” Jaehyun his cheeks before turning around at the boys. “I’m going home, guys.”

Doyoung stared at us with unreadable expression, “Okay.” He smiled.

Both of us walked to the bus stop and waited there. Somehow going home together with Jaehyun didn’t seem weird or awkward anymore. I glanced at his face and decided to observe his face a little longer.

He’s still the same boy who used to defend me when all of the boys at the playground took my doll. He’s still the same boy who loved to share his chocolate with me, and the same boy who made me feel safe and laughed a little harder when we’re kids.

But it’s still a bit weird that he suddenly became annoying and all, but maybe he’s going through puberty?

Argh. I don’t know!

“What are you looking at, cockroach?” I was caught. “Nothing.”

“Hey, don’t you think it’s too early to go home?” I thought so too. It’s a pity that I dressed this nice and I didn’t get to show it off. But, wasn’t it going to be awkward if it’s just the two of us?

“So what?” I asked. “So, let’s go to the arcade.” That’s not a bad idea actually. I'd rather go to the arcade than spending time with my computer. So, I guess, I’m in! “Okay.”

We left the bus stop and head to the arcade near the department store. “Oh, there is a karaoke box too!” I jumped like a kid who just got a bucket of ice cream. It had been a while since the last time I’ve been to a karaoke box.

“I’m definitely deaf after hearing you sing.” He stood up and I pushed him back. “Let me sing one more song, please.” I begged. “Fine.”
