Namjoon’s POV

A few days had passed and Jimin was ready before us, a smile that was too big for our liking smeared across his face.

“I’ve listened to our song over a hundred times, it’s catchy and it’s definitely going to hook people with its sound, but for this performance, we really need to catch their attention visually as well!” Jimin started, his mini-speech starting to roll. We all sat in front of him in the rented studio we got for the afternoon. None of us looked ready to dance except for Hoseok and Jungkook, for they were the only other active ones in the group.

“Don’t get crazy,” Yoongi said with sass, laying flat on his back. “I’m not doing anything big, I barely walk.”

I nodded in agreement, sitting with my back against Jin’s. 

“Look, being lazy is not going to get us recognized! You know the word is that there may be scouts in the audience at this thing. This goes beyond a school competition, it’s a possibility for our future!” Jimin protested. We all groaned knowing Jimin already had a crazy dance planned.

“Look, the moves are not too complex, but if we practice a lot over the next few days, we could get a good handle on it!” We all sat in silence taking in his words. I knew I wouldn’t mind getting scouted for a music career.
