Jin POV

I feel a gentle but firm shake on my arm and I return to consciousness. I look up into the kind warm eyes of my mom. She is giving me a kind smile, and lightly sits on the edge of the cot.

“How are you feeling sweetheart?” ask asks gently, “Does it hurt bad?”

“I throbbing of my eye and my head isn't pleasant, but I think I’ll be fine.” I assure her,  “I think what hurts to most right now is my ego at the moment.”

We both chuckle and she gently rub my arm in a comforting fashion. “The nurse says that you’ll be fine, but you are going to have the black eye for a couple weeks.” I nod in acknowledgment. “You are also going to have to wear your glasses because you obviously will not be able to put contacts in both your eyes.”

I sigh. I hate wearing my glasses, I feel so self conscious in them. I nod my head, and decide to deal. It won’t be the end of the world. “Ready to go home?” she asks.

“Yeah,” I say, “Can I see Namjoon when we get home?” I ask. I wanted to see him and make sure he was okay, he looked really upset, and I didn’t want him to feel bad.

“Of course Sweetheart,” she smiles, “But we’ll make it quick, the nurse wants you to be in be for the next day or so to make sure you are okay, you hit your head pretty hard.” I smile and agree.
