A long and heavy sigh left your lips as you shifted yourself into a slightly more comfortable position. Not that any single position seemed uncomfortable at this moment, but you were enjoying your sleep so much that you didn’t want to wake up any time soon. The smell inside of the room was horrible, but the only thing you were aware of was the amazing smell of his aftershave. With a small turn of your head and dropping your arm over his stomach, you pursed your lips, trying to hold on to the great dream you were heaving. The soft touch inside of your hair made you return slightly back to the real world, but it wasn’t enough to wake you up. You knew that he was brushing away the hair behind your ear that had fallen into your face due the movement of your head. The feather light touch was enough to make you realize that he was still here with you and that you had nothing to worry about. But when a soft chuckle reached your ear, you couldn’t help but frown, normally he was always very quiet if you were asleep so that he wouldn’t wake you up. 

The fast few days had been rough for you and at this moment you could use all the rest you were able to get. It was because he was here that you were able to sleep peacefully, otherwise you never would have been able to drift away and feel comfortable. A soft groan left your lips as you blinked your eyes a few times, feeling how they were fighting with the light around you. If it had been your choice than you would still have been able to sleep for a whole hour more, but his laughter had made you curious. You lifted your head at him and found him staring down on you with a sweet smile on his face. But you couldn’t see past the mischievous twinkle inside of his eyes. “What?” You muttered and blushed when you noticed how hoarse your voice sounded. You had been asleep for quite some time, it had been hours since you had still used your voice. “Nothing, I just noticed how cute you look while snuggling against me like that. I should have let you use me as a pillow much sooner.” The look inside of his eyes changed into one of adoration and you couldn’t help but blush. 

Sometimes he was able to say something like that, that was able to make you blush in no time. In one way you loved it, you had never had someone who said those sweet things to you without a special reason. On the other hand it still felt weird, after all you only knew him for a few days. But it felt as if you had known him for your entire life, that was how good you felt when he was with you. Everything just seemed to happen by itself, it was all so natural and real. When you were with him it seemed as if nothing else still seemed to matter but the two of you. “Stop telling those terrible jokes, they’re not funny.” You said as you pushed your face against his T-shirt and felt how his chest vibrated when he laughed. It was a sound you had gotten used to by now, and one you would no longer be able to miss. His free hand brushed up and down your arm and in the other one he was holding his book. You had suggested for him to go home, you didn’t want him to give up his free time just to sit here with you in the hospital, he probably had so many more better things to do. But it didn’t matter what you said, he wouldn’t leave. “My biggest priority right now is you, the rest can wait.” He repeated again when he saw the thoughts going through your mind. 

Knowing that you couldn’t convince him in any way you just hummed as you looked around the room. There weren’t a lot of things that had changed so far. You were still in the hospital and the two of you were spending most of your time here after school, you because your parents were still here and Baekhyun because he went everywhere you were. The doctor had told you that they had been very lucky, this could have ended dramatically. But they were still alive, they had made it and now you only had to wait for them to wake up so that you could finally figure out what had happened. The thoughts had been filling your dreams for days, you weren’t able to push away the feeling that something wasn’t right. “You’re worrying again, it’s normal for you to always be that tired if your brain doesn’t get a single minute of rest.” Your soulmate said and you looked up at him with a grumpy face. You knew that he was right, but you hated to admit it. You pushed yourself off of him and couldn’t help but enjoy the disappointed look on his face when you did so. You were sure that there were wrinkles on your cheek because of his T-shirt and that you had bags underneath your eyes. “I know, but my dad never forgets to secure his safety belt. I just can’t believe he would be so reckless. Something is not right.” You said while crossing your arms over your chest and leaning against the pillow of the couch so that you could look at him
