The Confused Girl POV

I was really young when I—or my mom—decided all this sht, yes, joined an idol agency, the biggest decision I’ve ever made. Well it wasn’t my mom, it was me. I was my sister’s biggest fan when I was younger, and I wanted to be like her. And besides, I love art, any kind of it. 
If people think it were us—my sister and I—who wanted to be idol, well it wasn’t actually like that. I was only five that time, and My sister, Jess, was an 11 years old teenager. We were roaming around the mall with our Mom when suddenly a tall guy approached us. He talked to Mom, and asked if my sister and I interested to be idol. My sister was excited to be a trainee in that agency, because she really liked dancing and singing. Me? I was too young, so my mom told to him she would ask me when I got older. And yes, I decided to join after few years later, I was sure because I just wanted to be with my sister. 

I remember the first time I saw you. I just finished practicing in our agency, I was thirsty and decided to buy some fresh juice in a convenience store nearby. You were a skinny-rocker like oppa, I thought. You looked clueless when you were talking with the cashier. 
 

“Ha… how… much s…should I p..pay?”, you spoke in broken Korean. 
 

I didn’t know what made my feet stepping towards you. With that no-kidding-broken-Korean, you, the rocker oppa, must not be a Korean, so I tried to speak English to you, “hey.. what language do you speak?”

The Clueless Person POV 

 

“hey.. what language do you speak?” 
It was like I just heard an angel voice from heaven. No, not because it was 'that' beautiful, but it was because finally someone spoke English to me. It was really helping, you, you were helping me. 

“I speak your language, I mean, English, American English”, I said. 

You sighed, you really looked like a little girl that time. I think you were only 12 or 13. “What happened? Can I help?”, you approached me. 

“Yes!!”, I was too loud because I was too grateful, but then you glared at me, and you still do that up until now when I'm being annoying. Well I couldn’t help but thinking that you were a grumpy little girl because of those sharp eyes, “uhh I mean yes you can, nope, I mean yes please and... t.. thanks b..before”, I scratched my not-itchy-head. I heard you giggled a little. That grumpy face was gone as I saw those lovely crescent eyes when you smiled, “I… I wanna buy this snack but it doesn’t have the price tag. I... I don’t know how much should I pay” 

“Kay, give it to me. I’ll talk to the cashier” 

“Uh… wait I'm gonna get the money” 

“Nah.. you can pay to me later” 

“Okay, th… thanks”, you smiled again, I think you liked seeing me stuttered, “uh wait!” 

“Huh?” 

“Would you mind if I add two ice creams?” 

“Why would I mind? You will pay later right?” 

I couldn't help but laugh, “Sure! Ah wait I’m gonna get the ice cream, wait again, what flavor do you like?” 

“… me??” 

“Yeah! I mean you help me, you don’t mind if I buy you an ice cream do you?” 

 

That was our first time talked to each other. The first time I bought something for you. Before finally we met again in studio when my mentor brought me to meet my soon-to-be group. My heart jumped when I saw you among the girls. You recognized me but you looked so confused. 

“Girls this is Amber, she’s from LA, she will be the member of our group”, the mentor said. 

“What?! I thought you’re an oppa!”, that was your first sentence when we met again.
