***This chapter will be told from Kazuya's point of view.***

I pulled into Logan's driveway, the sound of gravel bouncing against the car filled my ears. Everytime I pulled into the driveway I started to feel nervous. Which was stupid considering she was my girlfriend...

I saw her happily escape through the door on the side of her house and smile as she saw my face through the passenger side window.

"Hi!" She said getting into the car, her sweet scent filled my nostrils and I felt like I could've melted.

"H-Hey." I stumbled through my words. She giggled and kissed my cheek, heat rising to where her soft lips were.

"Your so cute when your nervous." She moved her lips and sat back down to put her seatbelt on, I mentally cheered and backed out.

"So, your sisters aren't at home tonight?" I asked trying to bring up conversation. I had remembered she mentioned something like that when we were texting earlier.

"Nope, Dillion is out with Zack and Stevie went to a study thing at the school. She keeps complaining about failing her midterms..." She trailed off, her eyes redirecting from her hands to the window. I looked over at her and saw the sadness in her eyes.

"Logan? Something wrong?" I put my hand over hers, her fingers were frozen. Just like the first time I had held them...

"Can I tell you about my mother?" She said, no shakiness detected in her voice. Just as sturdy as a rock.

"S-Sure." I was shcoked at her reply.

"Her name was Reiko, Japanese as you might presume. Reiko Kasumi, she married my dad young and had Dillion and Stevie. They are only a year apart ya know? "

Anyway, she was having a good life I guess until right after Stevie's first birthday. She found out she was pregnant but it wasn't planned, yep. That was me, I was a mistake. Dillion says thats when she started to notice mom wasn't acting right. She would sit alone in dark rooms and mumble to the wall stuff in japanese. One time she even threw a knife rack at Stevie because she wouldn't quit crying, Dad took her to the doctor and he said she was forming a mental illness dude to some sort of guilt... she wouldn't tell anyone what it was. After I was born and she was released from the hospital she didn't go home, Dad thought she was staying back with me since I was born premature. He went to the hospital the next morning to see how I was and the nurses said she wasn't there. He visited with me and then went home looking for mom. He found her seizing and bloody on the floor with Dillion and Stevie crying next to her, they said she just started to freak out and scratch herself so hard she was bleeding. He checked her into a mental hospital three days later. "

I got released from the hospital and Dad took me to her, she wanted nothing to do with me. She kept repeating stuff in japanese when she saw me, stuff like 'sin' and 'kami-sama nande?" "

She wasn't around a lot when I was growing up because of her mental illness and Dad started to cry all the time. When I turned three, Dillion and Stevie tried to get Dad to take us to the amusement park for my birthday. He said no so instead he took us out for ice cream. While Dillion took Stevie to the bathroom to wash her hands Dad told me that I didn't look like Dillion and Stevie and that I was weird, I made my mother go crazy and that God was punishing him for something he did in a past life. Then he walked out of the ice cream shop, I waited for Dillion and she took the bus with me and Stevie because Dad had already gone home. "

That night he sent just me to go to my grandma's. "

Six months after that we all went to visit my mother, they said she was doing better. Once she saw my face she started to seize and scream. The doctors asked if someone could take me home because whenever she saw me she acted like that. I went four years without seeing my mother, four years and then she was dead. She had killed herself after the doctors showed her my school picture. "

She wrote a note on the cell wall before though, it said 'MITCHELL IS NOT LOGAN'S FATHER.' in japanese characters. They know because they translated it, apparently I am a love child. The guilt though wasn't what made my mother go crazy. "

She was always insane according to my oba-chan. Whatever though... I inherited the most from my mother and she never even loved me."

Logan started to cry, I squeezed her small hands tighter, the words she had spoke were heartbreaking. So much so that I had to pull onto the freeway shoulder and hug her in my arms, her salty tears staining my shirt. I didn't care though, I just wanted her to know that even if her mother didn't love her, I always would.

"Logan?" I interupted her sobs.

"I'm sorry, I just. I want you to know, I feel like you needed to know." She grumbled into my shirt. I patted her soft hair hoping to console her more.

"I love you." The words had spilled out of my mouth, she stopped hiccuping and looked into my eyes. Her tear stained cheeks broke my heart.

"Aisheteru." She replied with a giant smile, I laughed and hugged her tighter.
