Sunggyu wasn't comfortable. He felt like he couldn't breath and he couldn't move. He hated crowds and he was sure he was about to die at that moment. He didn't want to be there, he hated places like that, but since that stupid rat practically promised Hoya they were going to the club, he couldn't say no. He wasn't the type of guy that would turn back on his word, even if in this case, he didn't said a single word. His drink was still in front of him, untouched and he wasn't sure if he was going to try it while Hoya and Nam Woohyun were probably on their third glass or something like that. “I still can't believe you actually came!”

Hoya said with a shining smile and Sunggyu just looked way. He hated when Hoya looked at him like that. It made his insides twist and his cheeks burn. He hated that feeling, he hated to know how much impact the younger man had on him. They were waiting for Dongwoo to be finished with his paper work and join them. At least, that was what he told them as soon they arrived. “He doesn't go out much?” Nam Woohyun asked and Hoya almost laughed at the question. “How about never? I think the only time he went out was after graduation...at least, that's what Dongwoo told me.”

Nam Woohyun noticed that every time Hoya spoke about Dongwoo his eyes would sparkle and he couldn't help but smile. He didn't know why, but he liked his new friend, if he could call him that already. It was cute to see the man blush every time he spoke so fondly about his boyfriend. It was even cuter because Hoya had no idea he was doing such a thing. Both men were enjoying themselves a lot. Laughing, drinking and talking. It was exactly what they needed. Sunggyu on other hand, just wanted to go home. His head hurt, he was tired and all he wanted was to rest for a little while. He was tired of the noise, he was tired of the smell of the smoke, he was tired of the smell of alcohol around him. All he wanted was to go home, listen to his music, drink his coffee and read a book. That for him, was the best way to spend his free time. That or go for a run next to the Han River. What else a man needed to be happy? He was a man of simple tastes and it was all he needed.

“Sorry it took me so long guys!” They heard and they saw a very smiling man sit next to them. While Hoya was radiant that his boyfriend didn't took so much time coming back, Sunggyu just forced a smile. It was more than obvious he didn't want to be there, that he would rather die than stay there, but the blissful couple couldn't see it, while Nam Woohyun could, but he decided to stay quiet and continued looking to the happy couple in front of him.

“So, how much did you payed Sunggyu to come tonight?” Dongwoo asked and Hoya started laughing. Sunggyu just raised a brow and drank a little of the small glass of water he had in front of him. His throat was beyond dry and he wasn't sure if just water was going to help him. “Actually...it was he who brought him.” All eyes were now on Nam Woohyun who smiled brightly. Dongwoo smiled back but couldn't help but wonder one things. “How do you know each other? I've known Sunggyu all my life and he doesn't have friends beside me and Hoya.”

Hearing this, Nam Woohyun couldn't help but raise a brow. So his suspicions about the man being a loner weren't wrong. He was indeed a loner but he seemed a little proud because of it. “....fate.” Nam Woohyun said with a smile and while Dongwoo was a little curious, Hoya just smiled and nodded, liking the answer. Sunggyu on the other hand, just took a deep breath and tried his best to relax. “I'm sorry....but I have to go...” He said and all eyes became sad. “Why? I just got here....” Dongwoo asked, showing how disappointed he was. Sunggyu hated when his friend looked at him like that. He hated it. It made him feel like he was a bad person, like he was doing horrible things, like kicking a poor dog or something. “It's 2AM....and I've work at 7AM...” Dongwoo looked down to his hands but then smiled. He knew how his friend's work was and how it pushed Sunggyu over the edge. It was miracle he managed to stay that long, that's for sure. “It's okay, we'll re-schedule!” Hoya said and everyone nodded.

Sunggyu just grabbed his wallet and car keys, waved goodbye to everyone and left the club. “Well, I've to go too...he's my ride!” Nam Woohyun said still smiling. “Bye, it was very nice to meet you!” With that, he left the happy couple all alone, but they didn't seem to mind, not a little bit. Sunggyu on the other hand, didn't even seemed to notice the younger man following him to his car. He was so distracted with his own thoughts. He wanted those feelings inside him to vanish, to disappear completely, but it seemed the harder he tried, the worst it got. He opened his car door and almost jumped when he heard a voice. “You have to be more careful with the looks you send Hoya.” He looked up and he saw a very serious Woohyun looking at him. “What do you know?” Sunggyu knew he sounded like a kid at that moment, but did he cared? Not at all. He just wanted to go home and rest.

He entered his car, but before he could take a long deep breath, he saw his own personal plague enter the car and sit. “You're too obvious. One of these days Dongwoo will notice and he might not found very amusing. On the contrary. I can see he's very possessive when it comes to Hoya...and I doubt he'll care you're his best friend!” Sunggyu didn't know how to answer that. He didn't know if he should scream and insult Nam Woohyun or actually admit this stranger was right and that he had to do something about his own feelings. He grabbed the car wheel but didn't do a thing. Instead he looked at it and could feel his breathing heavy and he could hardly think. Nam Woohyun allowed his head to hit the car sit and closed his eyes. “I get why you felt for him, I do, but I doubt Dongwoo will.” He paused, making sure he could continue talking. “If I noticed, I'm sure you did too...the way he looks at Hoya, like he's the best thing that ever stepped the earth, like he's the only thing that matters, like-”

“I get it!” Sunggyu cut him and looked at him. Both were staring at each other, and it looked like they changed characters in that exact moment. Sunggyu looked lost, unhappy and broken while Nam Woohyun looked dead serious, like he knew what the older man was going through, and Sunggyu highly doubt he knew. “I get it, I don't need to have someone like you to tell me what Dongwoo feels, that I have to be careful.” He felt like hitting with his head on the glass but controlled himself. Instead he passed a hand through his hair and started biting his lips even harder, not sure of what to do. “...life is so much easier in books...” Sunggyu thought to himself and didn't even noticed he said it out loud. Nam Woohyun on the other hand just stood there listening to the loud thoughts of the man next to him. “You're not as cold as I thought.” He said, trying to make the other feel better but instead of a 'thank you' or something else, Sunggyu just glared at him. “Why are you here?”

Nam Woohyun wasn't surprised by the sudden change of subject. He smiled and looked to the older man. “Would you believe me if I told you I'm an angel?” He asked, almost laughing but Sunggyu didn't seem to find that funny. “I would rather believe you were sent to torment me.” Another pause between the two. “I know you more than you actually would like to believe.” Nam Woohyun whispered to himself but Sunggyu managed to hear a single thing. He looked to the man next to him and couldn't help but feel a little scared. Was this man...a stalker? Because if he was, he was going to waste no time on calling the police and would probably change houses before he got out and managed to found him again. “I'm not stalking you, I swear...I just...know you.” Sunggyu rolled his eyes annoyed and glared to Nam Woohyun, who once again, wasn't affected by it one single bit. “You don't know me at all. Not even Dongwoo knows me fully, and he's my best friend since we were kids.” Sunggyu pressed his lips together and before Nam Woohyun could say a thing, he talked before him. “Who in the world are you?” He asked again and Nam Woohyun smiled and looked down. “If you payed attention to the world instead of your books, you would know.”
