Human

Human

Sunggyu counted to ten, then to thirty, then to 100. it wasn't helping. On the contrary. He was having the urge to kill someone, more specifically, Nam Woohyun. This man wasn't living his house, not even when he started shouting at him and started cleaning the mess that man had made. His precious books were dirty and all over the floor.

He took off his jacket and placed it carefully on the chair. Nam Woohyun continued staring at him, a little curious why the man was so...meticulous with his jacket? It was just a piece of clothing, not something that would break or anything. “Why do you wear a suit? Are you like...a director of a company?” Woohyun asked as he seat more comfortably on the couch. Sunggyu just ignored him and rolled his sleeves so he could clean his house. “I'm a teacher.” He answered, not looking to the curious man. “A teacher? High School?” Another question and Sunggyu couldn't help to bite his lower lip. “College.” It was a dry, cold answer, but Sunggyu didn't want to talk. He just wanted his apartment to be clean and wanted to be the way it was before.

He wanted it to be Nam Woohyun free. “Why do you dress a suit? It makes you old!” Sunggyu could feel his neck burn in anger. He brought the books to his coffee table and looked down to Nam Woohyun who had a curious, innocent look on his face. Sunggyu didn't know if he should scream or just punch the man in the face. Why was he so irritating? And how could he be so comfortable in a situation like that? Not being able to say a word, Sunggyu just grabbed the books that were around Nam Woohyun and continued making his messy house perfect again. He could feel Nam Woohyun look at him with much attention, like he was some sort of alien, but he just ignored. He started ordering his books from A to Z. He liked them to be perfectly placed, he liked to have them right on the shelves where no one could touch without his permission. At least that was what he thought before a certain rat touched and messed everything.

Because that was what Nam Woohyun was at that moment. A rat! Nothing else. What other explanation could there be for the younger to still be there and destroy his house? “Why are you cleaning up? It's books, not like they are worth something.” hearing this, made Sunggyu's blood boil. He dropped his books on the floor and glared coldly to Nam Woohyun who didn't understood the sudden reaction. “Not worth a thing?”

He asked, his voice so low it could freeze someone's soul. When Sunggyu wanted to be mean, he was going to be mean, and he could make even a grown man cry like a little baby. He knew he could, from experience. “These are worth more than your life!” Nam Woohyun couldn't say he was surprised when he heard that but didn't lost his smile, instead he grabbed one book that was next to him and started reading a couple of pages, ignoring a possible argument from Sunggyu. The owner of the apartment, blinded by anger, didn't even thought twice. He stole the book from Nam Woohyun's hands and the younger was forced to look up to him.

“I told you to leave! Why are you still here? Look at the mess you made. I want you out!” Sunggyu was trying his best not to scream, he really was, but he was failing so much. He was about to scream his heart out, and if no one stopped him, he was going to kill the man in front of him. “Not tomorrow, not in two weeks, now!” Nam Woohyun continued staring at Sunggyu. He lost his smile and looked down to his hands, not knowing what to say. It wasn't like he was scared of the man, because he wasn't, on the contrary, he was founding this a little amusing. “I don't have a place to go.” Nam Woohyun whispered but Sunggyu glared at him. “I don't care. Just leave before I lose it and kill you.” Sunggyu turned away and continued cleaning his apartment. Nam Woohyun was looking to him and didn't said a thing. He didn't know what to say. But then he thought he could talk. Maybe that way Sunggyu would soften up a bit right? “Do you live alone?” Sunggyu groaned in frustration. “I'll take that as a yes.”

Nam Woohyun said, his smile back. How was that possible? All Sunggyu wanted was this man out. He wanted to be left alone, but it seemed the other man couldn't understand the message. “Do you have a girlfriend?” Sunggyu could feel a his head about to explode. He continued taking deep breaths. “No.” He decided to answer. Maybe if he did, the other man's curiosity would vanish and he would the finally at peace. “Boyfriend?” Nam Woohyun asked even happier, knowing the other man was answering him. “...No...” This time Sunggyu's answer was almost a whisper and Nam Woohyun couldn't help but he a little curious when he heard that.

His eyes opened widely and he almost jumped from the couch. “But you want to have one right? Your expression totally says that!” Sunggyu just ignored those words and continued cleaning this things. “I like my loneliness.” He didn't had to look to the younger man to know he was pouting like a little baby. Annoying, that was what he was. “No one likes to be lonely....Not even you.” Sunggyu stopped what he was doing and looked to Nam Woohyun. His tone of voice wasn't the hyper one that was moments ago. It was serious and his expression matched his voice perfectly. The stood looking at each other for a couple of moments and when Sunggyu was about to speak, the front door opened and a voice was heard. “What the hell just happened here?”

Sunggyu and Nam Woohyun looked to the front door and while one saw a very familiar face, the other had no idea who this person was. “Hyung...what happened to your apartment? This is so not you!” The man said as he walked inside the house, trying his best not to step in anything that could make Sunggyu pissed. “Remember the rat problem? This is him!” Sunggyu said pointing to Nam Woohyun who just smiled to the unknown man. The man raised a brow but continued confused. This was not the same house he was used to see, the same house he spent so many hours with his boyfriend and friend. This was like it was a completely different house, that belonged to someone else, but not to Kim Sunggyu. “Hi, I'm Nam Woohyun!” He introduced himself but Sunggyu just glared. “...Hi...I'm...Hoya.” Nam Woohyun smiled and got up to introduce himself in the right way, but stopped when he saw the intense glare the owner of the house was giving him.

“What are you doing here?” Sunggyu asked, and Nam Woohyun couldn't help but to notice the man's voice was a little softer. That was weird, wasn't it? “I'm here still trying to convince you to go out with us! Dongwoo wants you in the club....at least once. Do you even know how it looks like?” Nam Woohyun stood there listening to everything and he couldn't help but stare at the cold, mean man. It was like in seconds he transformed himself into someone else. Someone with the same expression, someone with the same attitude, but with gentler eyes. “You know that this guy haven't gone out on a date or for fun in almost ten years?” Hoya asked looking to Nam Woohyun. He couldn't say he wasn't surprised when he heard that, because he was. He thought that someone like Sunggyu was a little bit of a playboy, that liked to have girls or even men all around them just by showing his elegant figure. “Really?” Hoya nodded and looked to Sunggyu again. “C'mon Hyung...Let's go out....”

Sunggyu started biting his lower lip. He didn't want to go, Hoya and Dongwoo both knew how he hated the night life, but he hated to see his friend look at him like that. “Sure, we'll go! I would love to go out.” Nam Woohyun said and the two man looked at him with surprised expressions. Sunggyu was ready to tell his 'guest' to mind his own business, but then he saw the smile that was across Hoya's face. “Awesome! You'll love it! Dongwoo has the best club of Seoul! The music is great and since you guys are his guests, you don't have to pay for a thing!” Hoya said and Nam Woohyun smiled even more. Sunggyu on the other hand just wanted to know what was happening there. He looked to Hoya and saw how he was smiling brightly. The only time he saw him smiling like that was when Dongwoo confessed to him. For some reason it made his insides twist a little.

Nam Woohyun noticed it but didn't said a thing. Instead he raised a brow and continued looking to the older man. He went from having gentle eyes to have a serious look on his face, his hands shacking a little. “We'll meet you guys at 9!” Before the older could say a thing, Hoya left the house. Nam Woohyun smiled brightly to the older man who was just glaring at him. “Why in the world you said something like that? I hate to go out, and you don't know me or my friends, you have no ri-” Before he could continue, Nam Woohyun stopped him with another serious expression and voice. How this man could change from hyper to serious so fast was a case to be study, for sure. “You like Hoya.”
