“Woohyun!” Hearing his name being called, he looked to the right and there he saw Dongwoo and Hoya almost running towards him. He could see how worried they were, he could see how scared they were that something bad happened to their dear friend. God, he knew how they were feeling, if not more. The thought of losing Sunggyu was too big for him to handle but he promised himself he would do everything in his power to make the older man feel better and to be sure nothing bad happened ever again. “What happened? Is he alright?”

Hoya asked and Woohyun could see he was worried and that he was really scared. Woohyun started pressing his lips together and continued looking to the two of them. “The doctor said it was a heart-attack.” He paused and the other two continued looking at him with full attention to know every single thing. “He said Sunggyu has been under a lot of stress and that if he doesn't take it easy, the next one may be fatal.” His voice cracked in the middle of his words. He felt so guilty. It was because of him that Sunggyu was under stress, it was because of him that Sunggyu's life changed. Before him, the older man had a very calm, relaxed life, but because of him, his peaceful life changed for the worst and now he didn't know how what to do.

Hoya grabbed Dongwoo's hand and brought the older man closer. Woohyun could recognize the pain in Hoya's eyes. He was imagining Dongwoo in their friend's place and that Woohyun could see he was in pain just by thinking a thing like that. The three stood there looking to each other without saying a single word. What could they say? They barely knew each other and they were far too busy thinking about what would happen to them if Sunggyu disappeared without warning.

What would they do? What would they do without him? He was a important person in their lives and they couldn't just allow him to go away like that, they couldn't. “Nam Woohyun?” They heard. They turned to see a doctor walking towards them and they started thinking the worst, but instead of showing it, they decided to keep quiet and waited for the man to speak. “Yes? Is Sunggyu better?” Woohyun asked right away. The doctor continued looking at him but then gave him a small smile, making the three men relax a little. “He's wonderful. He is stronger than he looks.” The doctor had complained about how skinny Sunggyu was but Woohyun couldn't explain that. From the little time he had spent with the older man he never saw him eating, just drinking water and maybe tea, nothing else.

“You can see him if you want. He's awake now. A little bit drugged, but fine.” Woohyun looked to the couple next to him but they just smiled and told him to go, that they would have another opportunity to see him. Woohyun just thanked them and walked slowly down the hall. Sunggyu's room was the last one, which gave the older man more privacy, a thing he was positive the older appreciated a lot. Woohyun was scared to open the door. He was scared to look right to Sunggyu's face and was scared to look at him. He was scared the older man would look at him and say he was the one to blame for him being in a hospital bed in that moment. He was scared to ask the older man why he said he was sorry before he fainted in his arms.

But why? Why did he said something like that? Why was he sorry? He didn't do anything wrong, he was perfect. He was always perfect while Woohyun wasn't. It was his fault that the older man was there, so he should be the one apologizing, not Sunggyu. Slowly, he knocked to the gray door twice and opened it gently, not wanting to scare the older man or even wake him up. Just because the doctor said he was awake, it didn't meant he actually was. “Come in.” He heard and entered the room without making noise. He closed the door behind him and stood right there, without moving a single muscle. He just kept looking to the older man and didn't said a thing. He wasn't sure of what he should say to make things a little better. “H..hi...” He said, his voice cracking a little.

Sunggyu turned to look at him and Woohyun couldn't help but bite his lower lip. The older man looked so lost, like he had no idea of what was happening and what he was doing there. The cold look he always wore...it wasn't him, it wasn't him at all. It looked like a different Sunggyu, a lonely Sunggyu who needed attention, completely different from the mean, cold teacher Woohyun was used to see. Right now, the older man looked like a little child. His eyes were smaller than usual and he looked so pale. He looked like he had died and came back. “You....Are you feeling better?” Woohyun asked feeling incredibly nervous. Sunggyu just nodded and turned his head and continued looking to the window. He made no efforts to speak and that was making Woohyun even more nervous. Was the older preparing himself to give a speech full of hate? Was he getting ready to tell Woohyun he was the reason why he looked like that? “I...I'm-” Before he could continued, he was cut of by Sunggyu. “Come here.” He said but he kept looking to the window. Not even asking why, Woohyun grabbed a small bench on the room and brought it close to the older man's bed. He couldn't help but think that in a week it would be he in Sunggyu's place, the only difference was that he doubt he would look that...good.

“It's not your fault.” Sunggyu said, still looking to the live outside, his eyes looking dreamy. Woohyun wasn't expecting that, so he just started biting his lower lip and he didn't know what to say, so he just decided to keep quiet. He wanted to hear Sunggyu to keep talking, but he had no idea how the older man knew what he was thinking, it was like he could read his thoughts, and at that time he really wished he didn't, because he would find out things Woohyun didn't want him to find. He continued looking to the older man and couldn't help but think the man looked a little peaceful, which was weird, specially coming from Sunggyu who never looked like that, not even in classes when he spoke about his favorite books. “I don't blame you. Not at all.” Sunggyu said and Woohyun continued looking at him. What could he say, he just continued looking and listening to the voice that he loved so much.

He wanted to keep listening to everything, he wanted to keep listening to Sunggyu because he wasn't sure when he would have another chance to be like that with the older man. He had to take this chance. “My heart-attack wasn't your fault. My stress wasn't caused by you, but by other things.” Sunggyu looked down to his hands, like he was in shame and this time, Woohyun had to raise a brow, not knowing what to say. He opened his mouth to speak but when he noticed the older wanted to keep going, he just closed his mouth.

“I've been thinking too much, I've been putting too much pressure on me, about a thing that I should forget, but for some reason, I can't. For some reason I can't be happy because of it.” Now Woohyun couldn't help but think the tables had turned. He was the one listening and Sunggyu was the one confessing something, but he wasn't sure if he was understanding fully what the older man was saying. “Is it because of Hoya?” He asked, a little scared. Sunggyu forced a smile and looked to the younger man. “No...but it involves him.” Now Woohyun had to know. He had to know what was happening because he couldn't even think about it.

He waited and saw Sunggyu's expression change to one that he never thought he would see. The older man looked like he was going to die from pain, and it wasn't physical pain, not even close, but he was pretty sure the older wished it was at that moment. “What happened?” He asked and Sunggyu started biting his lower lip. “....If he finds out, he'll be heart broken, he'll never look at me ever again.” Woohyun looked at him and didn't said a single thing. He was starting to think about something, but he wasn't sure if he was thinking the right thing. He couldn't be thinking straight. He couldn't be thinking because if he was, he couldn't believe something like that was even possible. He continued looking and waiting. “It was after he and Dongwoo started dating. A month after, to be more exact.” Woohyun could see this was being beyond hard for the older to confess and he wasn't sure why he was telling him those things, but he had to admit it was a prof that the older was trusting him with something big. “Dongwoo came to my house, the two of us got drunk...And that isn't an excuse, because it isn't!” Sunggyu said and Woohyun didn't need to hear more. He stopped the older man from talking and he could see he was nervous. “Sunggyu...did you slept with Dongwoo?"
