Days after the kiss, Sungyeol & Minah finally became a couple. Most girls in school despised that idea while some supported them. Most girls who were jealous were hopeful whenever the two would fight and get into arguments but unfortunately for them, the couple stayed together.

It’s been days and Sungjong was never seen anywhere anymore. Also, Myungsoo & Soojung were always together, resulting to Myungsoo never been hanging out with the guys anymore.

Eunji sighed, “I wonder where Sungjongie is … and Myungsoo oppa,”

Minah looked around; giving the others looks, “I wonder where Sungjong is too,”

Sungyeol was putting an arm over Minah’s shoulder, “We all know that idiot Myungsoo’s out with that flirt Soojung,”

“Poor oppa, going out with a girl who’s going with hundreds of other guys,” Eunji said

“Karma for breaking Minah’s heart,” Sungyeol muttered

Minah rolled her eyes and slapped his arm, “Can we forget about that already?”

“Oh, yeah! Minah’s in love with me anyways so let’s not bring any idiots in~”

Now it was Woohyun’s turn to roll his eyes and slap the younger’s other arm, “You hate my cheesiness yet you’re using some too?”

“OW!” Sungyeol winced, “What’s with you two siblings and smacking a poor innocent man’s arms?” he glared

The others laughed as the Nam siblings shrugged and high-fived each other.

“Now, back to Sungjongie,” Eunji shook her boyfriend’s arm slightly and pouted. Eunji had known Sungjong when they were kids as well. Every one of them was childhood friends with each other except for Sungyeol & Myungsoo, despite him being Eunji’s cousin. But he was her step-cousin at 15 years old anyways.

Minah sighed at the thought of her best friend, “I really am concerned! Where’s my Jongie?” she pouted sadly

Sunggyu frowned as well with the others, “I haven’t seen him since New Years,”

“I know… it’s been 6 days!” Dongwoo exclaimed

“We should go visit him,” Hoya suggested

“We should!” everyone else agreed.

After classes, the gang went straight to where Sungjong lived. As expected, the kid lived in a mansion. For more information, Sungjong was a smart guy who studied in the States. He was the Asian nerd everyone loved bullying. Sungjong bore with it and carried on, continuing to be the happy and cheery girly boy who everyone from his childhood knew.

Everyone arrived in the gates and was met by guards in front of the gates. “Who are you?” they asked with deep voices

The gang gulped in unison as they stare at the giants, “Um… we’re here for Lee Sungjong,” Sunggyu said

One guard leaned in the doorbell while the other one watched the group wordlessly. “Master Lee Sungjong, you have guests,”

“Eh? Who?” a voice heard from the doorbell chirped

The guard looked back at them. Woohyun cleared his throat, “Sungjong-ah! It’s us! Y-Your friends,”

On the other hand, Sungjong felt nervous, “O-Oh… um… let them in,” he mumbled through the doorbell

The others sighed in relief and stampeded in when the gates opened. They headed in the mansion and started looking around in awe.

“Whoa. This is much better than ours, oppa!” Minah squealed

Woohyun agreed, “Indeed,” he mumbled

Suddenly, someone walked down from the stairs. Sungjong came down with a weak smile. He gave Minah and Sungyeol as glance and looked down, “Hey, guys,”

“Jongie!” they exclaimed, bombarding him with hugs and pats on the back. “Are you okay?” “Are you sick?” “Is there something wrong, maknae?” “We haven’t seen you for days,” “We were worried,” they attacked him with sentences and questions. Normally, Sungjong was cheerful

“Sungjong?” Minah called, tilting her head slightly and blinking her sad eyes in concern, “Is there something wrong, buddy?”

Sungjong looked away after giving her a glance, “Uhn… y-yeah… I’m just sick? I guess…” he mumbled

Everyone frowned, “Yah…”

“Guys… I’m kinda busy packing right now. I’ll talk to you guys, soon,” he sadly muttered

“Wait…” Sungyeol started, “Packing?”

“Packing for what?” Eunji asked

Sungjong gulped inaudibly, “I’m going back to the States,”

Everyone sighed, “When?”

“Tomorrow,”

“MWO? And… you don’t have time to at least hang with us?”

“I’m sorry…”

“You’re still gonna come back, right?”

“I guess…”

“Yah,” Minah started again, “There’s something wrong. Talk about it with me,”

Sungjong shook his head, “I can’t,”

“Why?”

Sungjong didn’t answer and just gave Woohyun a glance. The truth is that Woohyun knows Sungjong is in love with Minah. Woohyun sighed and pulled him away to the garden.

Everyone watched their retreating figures as they give each other glances.

Outside, Woohyun gently let go of Sungjong, who was looking down as if he was ready to cry. “H-Hyung…”

Woohyun sighed, “Yah… I know, alright? I know- I understand, Sungjong… but you just have to let go. Minah’s happy with Sungyeol and… you should accept that. Everyone experiences heartbreaks. Love isn’t that easy. Let’s get you to move on, okay?”

Sungjong kept quiet as he quietly sobs. Woohyun bit his lip and brought the younger to a tight hug. Little did they know, everyone else was watching.

Minah frowned deeply, “I wonder what’s wrong,”

Sungyeol put an arm over her shoulder and rubbed her arm, “Let’s just hope he’ll be okay,”

Minah nodded quietly with the others. Minutes passed then Woohyun and Sungjong came back. To everyone’s surprise, cheerful Jongie was back.

“Let’s go get ice cream before I go!” he exclaimed, giving Minah a look and a smile

Minah softly looked back and smiled as well, “Let’s~”

Everyone grinned and cheered, walking out of the mansion and going to get ice cream. Everyone had fun and went to the mall and the karaoke too! They took a lot of time but they didn’t care! All they cared about is to hang with Sungjong until he goes back. They’re not sure if he’ll ever come back anyways. It was almost midnight when everyone went back home.

Minah and Woohyun entered the house with a happy atmosphere. Minah turned around and faced her brother, “So what happened?” she asked with her arms crossed and hands together behind her back.

Woohyun raised his brow sleepily, “Eh?”

Minah puffed her cheeks, “Did you know why Sungjong was crying?”

Woohyun paused, finally he untruthfully shook his head, “He just cried! I … I tried to talk to him but he just cried,”

Minah sighed, knowing her brother’s not telling the truth. Since she knew it was Sungjong, the boy would tell anything to her unless it’s really personal, so she let her brother go, “Fine. I’ll go to bed first, good night, oppa,” she said, going up to the stairs

Woohyun smiled slightly and nodded, “Ne. Good night, Minah,” he turned around and sighed, ‘Good luck, Lee Sungjong,’
