As Sana began to wake she couldn’t help but snuggle into the fluffy pillow and warm comforters she lay in. It was like she was sleeping on a cloud and she just wanted to stay there forever. Her bed was comfortable of course but nowhere near the level of the bed she currently laid on.

Which was when she realized she wasn’t on her bed.

Jolting off the bed as she snapped awake, her head met the unfamiliar floor. Groaning as something dug into her back painfully, she tried detangeling from the heavenly covers. She heard footsteps approaching, freezing her from her actions. The door banged loudly against the wall as it opened and her eyes widened at the sight in front of her.

Boy would Mina and millions of girls around the world be jealous of the sight before her. She knew she should look away but she had never seen such a view in her life.

A shirtless EXO stood in the doorway as Sana’s soul left her body.

“Are you okay?” Junmyeon quickly rushed forward, crouching down to help her sit up. Sana’s heart felt like it would burst out as her eye’s met his exposed abdomen, his perfectly sculptured abdomen. Quickly looking away before he could catch her, she was met with another more perfect sight, his face looked down at her in amusement and she was sure he had caught where her gaze had gone. She felt slightly ashamed for ogling him after he had taken such good care of her.

She tried stopping herself from giggling but she couldn’t help it, laughing was her natural instinct for any situation whether good or embarrassing. He chuckled along with her as he helped detangle her from the sheets.

“I was just surprised.” She explained once she was free, “I wasn’t sure where I was for a moment.”

“It’s alright. As long as you’re okay.” He ruffled her hair and she giggled again. “Let's check your ankle shall we?”

She nodded, and took his hand as he helped her up and back onto the bed. The rest of the boys had left, she noticed, and she could hear them nosily getting ready for the day.

Junmyeon gentley examined her ankle and nodded, “It's doing better. I would still recommend going easy.”

“Thank you, I'll try but we're supposed to learn more cho-, oh no,” She jumped up, (Junmyeon had to quickly catch her before she lost her balance), “I forgot to tell them where I was! They're probably worried about me.”

Junmyeon chuckled, “Don't worry. I asked Amber too call your manager and tell him that you fell asleep over at her apartment. She'll be by in a bit to pick you up and then you two will head back to your dorm.”

“Oh.” She relaxed. “Thank you.”

“It was no problem at all. We have extra toiletries if you'd like to wash up while she gets here.”

Sana quickly covered , realizing she hadn't brushed her teeth yet, “Thank you.” She ducked her head and followed him out of the room.

It was uncharacteristically quiet at the table as the boys and Sana ate their respective breakfasts.

Junmyeon couldn't help but catch Sana's eye as they ate, smiling gently at her to ease any awkwardness she might feel. Someone kicked him under the table after the fifth time of him looking up to look at her and he quickly blushed as he realized all the boys were looking at him.

“So Sana, you're preparing for your first comeback, any nerves?”

Sana looked up, startled by the sudden question.

“Yes.” She nodded. “A lot.”

Jongdae who had asked the question smiled at her warmly, “Don't worry, it gets easier after the first comeback.”

“I'm sure you will do great.” Junmyeon added.

The doorbell startled them, “That must be Amber.” Chanyeol stood to go get the door.

All the boys stood to go with him except for Junmyeon and Sana who sat awkwardly across from each other.

“I guess I have to go.” Sana whispered.

Junmyeon nodded. “I guess so.”

“Thank you for everything. I don't know how I could repay you.”

“No need. Remember we're friends.” He smiled at her.

“Right.” Sana nodded.

Sana was scolded lightly for having stayed out late without permission but thanks to Amber she'd gotten off a lot easier. Of course she kept the actual truth from everyone including the other members which made her feel insanely guilty. She went easy on her ankle which thankfully healed in a matter of days even with all the dance practices.

“Let's go to the movies.” Chaeyoung suggested after they finished their schedules early.

As they arrived the girls began heatedly discussing which movie they should watch. Sana studied the movie posters hanging up, looking for a movie that caught her attention.

One in particular made her pause as she looked at it.

Nayeon slid up beside her and looked at the poster, she squealed as she pointed at Kim Jisoo, “Let's watch this one!”

Sana nodded in agreement, though it wasn't for the K-Drama heartthrob on the poster that Nayeon was focused on.

“Glory Day?” Jihyo read, “Ah I saw the trailer! It was good I agree we should watch this one.”

The other members slowly began to agree, sending Jihyo and Jungyeon to purchase the tickets while Momo, Mina and Nayeon purchased the snacks. While the other members were distracted, Sana quickly snapped a picture of the poster.

She bit her lip nervously as she opened her messages, scrolling until she found his name. She pondered quickly on what to write as she attached the photo to the message.

“Sana unnie!” Tzuyu called out to her.

Sana looked up to see them heading into the theater and quickly typed a message and locked her phone before she could regret it.

Junmyeon had walked off set for his new web series when he'd received a text message. Despite being exhausted a smile lit up his face as he read the senders name.

His smile widend as he read the message and saw the attached picture.

Sana: About to watch this, is it any good?

He wondered how he should respond before he decided on playful.

Junmyeon: It's decent. :) Hope you enjoy it!

Back at the dorm he took a quick shower before making himself something to eat.

Jongin walked in, phone to ear and at the sight of Junmyeon he quickly whispered a goodbye.

Junmyeon raised an eyebrow but didn't question him. Jongin had been acting weird around him for a while now and although he had his theories he wanted to wait until Jongin was ready to talk to him about it before he said anything about it.

He unlocked his phone as Jongin grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge and took a seat across from him.

Junmyeon ignored him and wasn't aware that he was searching up Sana until the search bar on youtube gave him the most popular results of “Sana”. Before he could convince himself to back out, he caught a glimpse of one of the thumbnails and couldn't resist pressing play. He smiled as the video showed her sitting on the floor talking about others underestimating her before it cut to her standing on stage. He wasn't sure what he was watching but his jaw dropped to floor as he watched her dance in the video.

“What are you watching that has you so flustered hyung?” Jongin craned his neck to look at the screen.

Junmyeon blushed and tilted the phone so he could see.

Jongin laughed, “You're hopeless hyung.”

He ignored him as the video ended, “What is this?” He muttered, noticing the title read “Sixteen Ep 3- Sana 1v1 Dance Cut”. The video had been entirely too short for his liking.

“What? The show? I believe it was called Sixteen and aired last summer. A survival show that formed Twice. That was probably one of her evaluation performances.” Jongin explained.

Junmyeon nodded and stood, “Well it's getting late I should head to bed, night Jongin.”

“Goodnight hyung.” Jongin smirked as Junmyeon walked towards his room, eye's glued to his tiny phone screen.

In bed with his headphones in he watched clip after clip of Sana in the survival show, laughing at her quirkiness and her clumsiness during the variety challenge, and even though she had already made it into the group he got bitter as he watched as another trainee would take the necklace from her.

His marathon was interrupted as he received a text from the very girl herself.

Sana: that ending….. :(

Junmyeon smiled.

J: So did you like it?

S: I would have changed a few things…

J: Like?

S: Well I'll just say Sangwoo deserved better friends. :/

J: hahaha could you blame them though

S: yes I could

Junmyeon's smile widened, he liked the fact that Sana cared enough for him that it extended towards his character.

S: I just realized it is very late, sorry if I woke you.

J: It's fine, I was up watching videos.

S: Oh sorry for interrupting

J: You apologize too much, you don't have to

S: sorry :)

S: well I should go to sleep, my roommates will start getting annoyed by my light, goodnight :)

J: Sleep well :)

The first conversation led to a million conversations between the two (via text message of course) and although they didn't see each other for a fairly good amount of time, it was enough to develop their friendship into a more friendly one then the awkward phase they had been in before. Usually their messages consisted of sending funny photos of their group members or meals they were eating or pictures of the other they would run into while out on the streets.

Even with their amount of communication, Sana wished she could see him in person.

She knew that they'd been lucky so far in not getting caught but still she craved his presence.

Thus feelings proved to her that the separation was necessary.

She had to remind herself that she wasn't allowed to date or fall in love. Getting too attached would be heart breaking and troublesome. So she accepted the separation and reminded herself to not give to much.

It was a good thing that her comeback was there to distract her.

In a matter of hours she'd be too busy to even think about Junmyeon as she'd be into a whirlwind of activities.

“You're distracted a lot these days.” Mina murmured as she slid up next to Sana.

Sana jumped, prompting a chuckled from Mina.

“A-am I?”

Mina nodded, a smirk on her face, “Could it possibly be a boy?”

Sana's face whitened at her words, as she nervously looked around. Even though Mina had muttered the words in their native tongue she was still paranoid and wondered if anyone had also caught on.

“W-what? What do you mean? Boy? What boy?”

“You left your phone unlocked other night, you should really be more careful.” Mina responded. “Don't worry I locked it before anyone else could see... I think you should tell everyone.” She whispered more seriously. “I don't know what's going on but if it's something that could affect the group I think we all have a right to know.” She pursed her lips. “But I'll keep your secret if you decide to not tell us.”

Sana bit her lip.

She knew Mina was right, even though nothing was going on between her and Junmyeon, they did deserve to know what was going on with her. They'd agreed to hold no secrets from each other and always be open and honest which had been key to their strong sisterly bond and her secret would be breaking that promise.

“I'll tell everyone tonight. You're right.” Sana nodded.

After their managers left she'd tell them.

The boys were yet again arguing about what movie to watch but Junmyeon could only focus his attention on his phone as he waited. In a few short minutes Twice would be having a V-Live before their new music video would drop. Sana had informed him of her upcoming schedule and of course he'd seen the updates on Naver to know what would be going on. He'd all but fainted when he had seen Sana's teaser photo, she sported her newly dyed blonde hair beautifully in the two photos released and he had lost the battle with himself as he saved the photos on his phone.

He shushed the boys as the notification popped up for the Twice V-Live and frowned when he didn't see Sana immediately. He quickly brightened when she popped up from behind the couch.

“What are you watching hyung?” Sehun plopped down beside him while the other boys grumbled. He shook his head as he noticed what he was watching. “You have it bad.”

Junmyeon glared at him as he stole an earbud and listened along with him as the girls talked about their debut and comeback.

“She's cute.” Sehun commented about a girl sitting to the far end of the couch with redish hair.

“I believe her name is Mina.” Junmyeon tried recalling.

Sehun hummed and watched along with him until Chanyeol walked up and grabbed the phone from them.

“It's family time.” He scolded jokingly.

“Your right.” Junmyeon nodded. Although his hands twitched with the need to grab the phone back. “Sorry, have you guys decided on a movie.”

“We're watching Ironman.” Minseok responded.

Junmyeon brightened up at the news and settled down to watch the movie. He'd watch the rest of the stream later when it was uploaded fully.

Right now he needed to focus on his brothers.
