Returning to her dorm, Sana expected to be hit with a million questions but surprisingly the girls accepted her, “It was fun, we talked about just normal stuff, no big deal.” Jihyo must have told them to not pester her because they usually were not ones to let such a simple answer sedate their curiosity. She greatly appreciated her leaders maturity in that moment as she slipped away to her room.

Heaving a heavy sigh as she laid down on the bed. She was long overdue for a nap and just as her eyes began to grow heavy her phone pinged with a message. Picking up her phone, she unlocked her phone with a blush as she read the name of the sender. The message opened immediately and she was met with her own face smiling back at her with Junmyeons face close by with his own smile. Unconsciously smiling back at the picture she stared at it in awe, mostly at his face. She knew it was highly unlikely that they’d ever speak to each other like they had that morning but she was glad to have a photo preserving the moment.

She set it as his contact photo quickly and laid down to take her well deserved nap.

Junmyeon had expected the rapid questions to bombard him as he entered the dorm, his years of acting practice allowed him to keep a straight face as he made his way toward the couch. If he was gonna have to deal with them than he might as well do it in comfort. He wasn’t at all surprised to see Amber had also joined from the time he had left in the morning.

“So how’d it go!?” Chanyeol yelled at him.

Glaring at him first and then exhaling with a large sigh, Junmyeon gave up his act and slumped down and whined. “Terrible.” He said grabbing a pillow and burrowing his face in it.

“What do you mean terrible?” Amber wrestled the pillow away from him. “Sana’s a great girl.”

“She is. A really great girl. And beautiful. And funny. And she laughed at my jokes. AND SHE HAS A THREE YEAR DATING BAN!” He glared over at all of them. “What were you guys thinking sending me on a date with a rookie!”

“Wait what?” Chanyeol titled his head in confusion.

Kyungsoo slapped the back of his head. “She can’t date for three years you idiot.”

“And Jun had a really great time with her so he’s super pissed at you and basically everyone.” Minseok further explained.

Amber buried her face in her hands. “Aw man, I completely forgot she’s from JYP. Jackson told me about their dating ban but I completely forgot. But wait, why didn’t she just say no to me when I texted her about it?”

“She mistranslated your message.” Junmyeon mumbled. “Her Korean is good but she must have read it too quickly and mistranslated it. She thought she was meeting up with you.”

“Well that .” Sehun commented, earning a glare from everyone. He simply shrugged and slumped down beside Junmyeon. “Don’t worry hyung. You can either wait three years for her to finally be able to date or go on another date with some other girl that doesn’t have a ban. The show must go on as they say. Either way at least you tried and that’s all we wanted.”

Junmyeon pouted as everyone dispersed and went back to what they were doing before he arrived. “But I really liked her.” He whispered. Unlocking his phone and opening his pictures, he smiled softly, despite the ban he hoped they could at least be friends.

Happy as she was to be preparing for their first come back, she was also insanely nervous. Their debut had gone so well and she knew expectations were high for their comeback so they worked twice (hehe) as harder than they did for their debut. Her last free day had been spent on her lunch da- meeting with Junmyeon and was into album preparations the next day and the day after that.

Three days later after finishing her parts for the day she stated, “I’m going for a hike.”

The other members all looked frightful as they offered to go with her, none of them fans of Sana’s hobby. She relieved them from their stress as she told them to cover for her as she snuck out, they happily obliged and were thankful to be excused from having to join.

Plugging in her headphones, raising her hood and medicine mask Sana made her way to the nearest hiking trail. No one suspected the rookie idol as she rode the subway and bus toward her destination.

Arriving, she already felt more at ease as she began her walk, lowering her hood and humming along to her music. In her trainee days she’d walk and hike often but since debut she wasn’t allowed to leave without a chaperon. She knew as they continued she’d begin to get recognized by more people and even hiking might be risky without being stopped by fans, at least she hoped they’d reach that point in their careers.

It wasn’t until she tripped that she realized that the sun had set and the pathway she was on was illuminated by small lights along the trail. It was usual for her to space out as she walked so it wasn’t surprising to see that she’d walked long enough for the sun to set. Not wanting to sneak in so late she turned back to head back down. Looking down at her phone she gasped at the sight of the time. The latest bus was set to leave in ten minutes and if she didn’t catch it she would be forced to call her manager to pick her up. Not wanting to receive a scolding or get any of her privileges she quickly jogged down the trail. It was yet another bad idea as she found herself meeting the floor and her ankle unhappily crying in pain.

Pushing herself up to stand; she cried out in pain as she tried taking a step. Shuffling down the mountain would be a bad idea with the rocky trail.

She was stuck.

Panic quickly set in as she unlocked her phone with shaky hands. As tears formed in her eyes she dialed the first person who came to mind.

“Hello?”

“Help me.” She sniffled.

It felt strange not having a schedule to attend to for the week. The days were mostly spent lounging around and eating as they enjoyed their rare rest. Although they spent the days in their own rooms doing their own things; Junmyeon had declared that one night out of the week they’d gather together to truly bond and enjoy each other’s company off the stage. So the eight boys, Yixing sadly still missing, all sprawled out in the living room in their comfiest clothing as they argued over which movie to watch. Usually one member was allowed to pick for the week but none of the members ever enjoyed Kyungsoo’s choices. Thus an argument would break out for an hour of the night.

It was in that hour that Junmyeon received a call.

“I want to watch 22 jump street!” Chanyeol yelled as Junmyeon answered, smiling despite his brothers preparing to fight behind him.

“Hello?”

“Help me.” The voice on the other sniffled.

Immedietly freezing up his entire mood went on alert. “Sana what’s wrong? Are you okay?”

She sniffled again, “I think my ankle is broken and I’m all alone on the trail and I don’t know what to do.” He could hear her trying to hold back her fright as she spoke.

“Okay tell me what trail you’re on and I’ll be right there.”

After receiving her location he hung up unwillingly.

“Hyung where are you going?” Jongin questioned as he noticed him slipping into his shoes and sweater.

“Sana’s hurt. I have to go help her.” He said, grabbing the keys to their car and rushing out the door with no further explanation.

Driving as quickly as he could, he tried not to ponder on negative thoughts, not letting his mind wonder onto dangerous thoughts. Sana needed him to be strong and take care of her.

Arriving at the mountain Sana had told him he wasted no time locking the car as he raced up the trail. Thankfully the trail was lit so he could see his way, being cautious to not hurt himself. He’d be no use to Sana if he was hurt as well.

He let out a sigh of relief as he caught site of her hunched over body up ahead.

“Sana.” He called out softly, not wanting to frighten her. She still jumped in surprise and he noticed tear streaks on her face.

“I’m sorry.” Was how she greeted him as he knelt down in front of her. “I panicked and didn’t know who to call. I didn’t mean to drag you out here so late.”

He chuckled softly at her concern for him, it was her who was hurt and she was worried about him. “I’m fine. I’m more concerned about you. Should we take a look at your ankle?”

She nodded, lifting her pants leg to expose the swollen ankle. “It’s definitely sprained.” He murmured, hesitating before his fingers could touch her skin, “Um, is it okay if I…” he motioned to her ankle.

“It’s okay.”

He touched gently on the swollen area. “It’s thankfully not broken. Dr. Kim Junmyeon recommends wrapping it and lots of rest.”

She giggled, biting her lip as she looked down at it. “I think I can manage the first one doctor but with our comeback soon…” She sighed. “Minatozaki look what you’ve done to yourself.” She grumbled.

He found it adorable and sympathized with her, he knew all too well that proper recovery just wasn’t allowed in their field of work. Still he couldn’t help but be bitter as he pursed his lips. “We should get you home.”

She nodded than froze, “Oh no.” She whined. “The cameras will already be on and sneaking in won’t be possible with my injury. I’m gonna get caught.” She said in fear.

Junmyeon pondered for a moment, mulling over her words. Strangely feeling over protective over her, he didn’t want to get her in trouble. An idea came to his his head quickly but he wasn't sure if she would be okay with it. He'd get her down to the car before he'd let her know his crazy idea.

He helped her stand up and then crouched in front of her. “Hop on.”

“W-what?” She said staring at him with wide eyes.

“You won’t be able to make it down the mountain with your injury; it’ll be easier and faster to give you a piggyback.” He explained.

“Oh.” She hesitated for a moment before wrapping her arms and legs around him.

Hopefully she wasn’t able to see his blush as he held onto her thighs. Making their way down the trail, Junmyeon couldn’t help but imagine the same situation but in his head, Sana would be his girlfriend and she wouldn’t be hurt. Casting the thought aside, he decided to hum to ease the tension. He was surprised when he heard the humming echoed in his ear.

“Sorry.” She giggled, continuing to hum.

“Call me baby.” He sung along, smiling when she’d pause to echo the fanchants, and then continue to hum. He knew the song was very well known but it made his heart flutter that she knew it well.

The singing and humming made the the trip down the trail pass quickly and soon they were by his car. After helping her in they made their way away from the mountain.

“Where are we going?” She asked curiously as they drove.

He coughed, knowing she might not be up to his idea. “I figured that we should get your ankle wrapped quickly and since I'm assuming that hospitals are a bad idea, that we’d go back to my dorm.”

“Oh.” She squeaked, “Is that appropriate?”

He was almost certain her cheeks were as red as his as he fidgeted in his seat. “I know it’s not the best idea but I promise I don’t mean anything inappropriate. We can figure out what to do after we patch you up.” He had noticed her scratches on her hands when he had helped her into the car which he thought would also need to be taken care of.

“Thank you, I think it’s a great idea.” She said sincerely.

Thankfully his dorm was accessible from the garage so they would be able to both sneak in without being seen. He carried her piggyback style again as they entered the building and rode the elevator. It must have been an amusing sight as she pressed the buttons for him and held his keys. Arriving at the door, they both froze at the sound of yelling from inside. He had forgotten he had left them in the middle of deciding a movie.

“Before we enter, I apologize for my boys.” He said, hoping they would behave for once in their life.

She giggled nervously, “You sound like their father.” Junmyeon leaned over so she could reach down and unlock the door for them. The door beeped open and they entered the chaos that was the EXO dorm. Kyungsoo had Chanyeol in a headlock and Baekhyun was beating Jongdae with a pillow. Minseok stood filming the fight and Jongin and Sehun, the youngest of the bunch, sat with a bowl of popcorn watching the mess. It was Sehun who noticed them first, the bowl of popcorn in his hands falling to the floor. Jongin turned to glare at him but quickly noticed where his gaze fell. One by one their heads began to turn towards them. Kyungsoo quickly let go of Chanyeol who yelped as he fell to the floor.

Clearing his throat, Jumyeon glared at them. “Everyone this is Minatozaki Sana, she is hurt and in need of assistance. Minseok if you could please retrieve the first aid for me.” The boys snapped into action as Junmyeon walked them forward. Cleaning up and arranging the mess they had made.

“Hello.” Sana greeted them formally as she could on Junmyeons back, the boys mumbling back in embarrassment. Junmyeon set her down on the floor and helped her sit as Sehun slid over the foot seat for her. She smiled gratefully at him as Minseok appeared with the first aid kit.

“What happened?” Kyungsoo asked with concern.

Sana blushed and ducked her head as everyone focused their attention on her. Junmyeon was making fast work on wrapping her ankle. “I fell while hiking.” She answered simply.

“Is it okay if I…” Minseok motioned to her hands, bandages and ointment in his own.

“Oh s-“

“I’ll do that.” Junmyeon quickly intervened. Grabbing the supplies from his hands and gently holding Sana’s hands. “This might sting.” He cautioned.

“Ok Dr. Kim.” She smiled through her nervousness. She giggled forcibly through the pain and he was taken aback from the sound but nonetheless preferred it then sounds of pain. Once again he couldn’t help imagining a different scenario for holding her hand as he worked. The boys were thankfully calmer now in her presence as they watched curiously.

“There all done.” He finished placing the last bandage on her hand.

“Thank you.” She whispered, looking at him with sincere eyes.

Sana surprisingly began to feel comfortable around the famous boys as they allowed her to choose the movie for the night. Junmyeon had explained it was tradition for them to gather up once a week together, she replied with her own groups similar agreement. Their choices were interesting and she decided to pick something familiar so she wouldn’t have to work as hard on translating the movie the entire time. She respected them further as they gave her space on the couch, some of the boys choosing to lay on floor and on the other couches. Junmyeon and Minseok were the only ones to sit beside her. Junmyeon sat closest but still far enough that they didn’t touch. She found herself beginning to nod off as the long day caught up on her. And soon enough she was fast asleep.

Junmyeon had noticed her head dipping half way through the movie, watching her carefully as she would snap back awake with sleepy eyes. Before he could offer to lend her his bed her head fell onto his shoulder. He froze at the contact and peeked over at her and noticed she was fast asleep. And then suddenly before he could recover, her head slid down his body and onto his lap. He looked over wide eyed at Minseok who mimicked his expression. He had no idea what to do with his hands as they floated above her body and he panicked. He had to think quickly, knowing that if she was to wake up she’d be mortified. Wanting to save her from embarrassment he motioned for Minseok to pause the movie. He’d have to require their help.

Minseok quickly shushed the complaining boys as he paused the movie. He pointed over to Junmyeon who still had no idea where to put his hands and looked like a lost puppy. The boys quickly snapped to their feet at the sight of the sleeping girl, Sehun and Chanyeol trying to hold back their laughter.

“Help.” Junmyeon whispered desperately. It’s not that he disliked the situation but for Sana’s sake it would be wise if he was out from under her quickly.

“I’m going to lift her head so you can slide out.” Kyungsoo whispered. Junmyeon nodded and watched as Kyungsoo gently slipped his hand under her head and body, lifting her up gently so Junmyeon could escape. He let her down gently and the boys looked down at the sleeping girl.

“She’s out.” Chanyeol whistled.

“She had a long day.” Junmyeon commented. “I should move her to my bed.”

“Does that mean we’re sleeping out here?” Sehun groaned.

Junmyeon nodded and moved to lift her. It would be the third time he carried her that night and the first time he got the chance to look at her as he did. Her face was peaceful as she slept and he couldn’t help admiring her face more. Her expressions which were naturally innocent seemed to remain as she slept and he had to force himself to look away so to not hurt her as they entered his room.

Minseok had followed behind and pulled back Junmyeons sheets. Gently Junmyeon laid Sana down, carefully removing her shoes so she could sleep more comfortably. He tucked her in and couldn’t help himself from brushing away the strand of her that fell over her face. He smiled as she snuggled into his pillow and smiled in her sleep.

They barely knew each other but Junymeon couldn’t help being so enamored by the girl.
