.Chapter 6.
The Jinxed Vampire
Sungyeol didn’t know how much time has passed but he still couldn’t bring himself to break that staring competition he was holding with deep chocolate eyes of, apparently, one of the strongest and most powerful creature that has walked the surface of the Earth, while his mind still trying to digest the words Myungsoo had thrown his way… the same Myungsoo who used to give piggy back rides to little Sungyeollie and used to play games with him all evening, who used to dazzle Sungyeol with his precious dimple smile and who had always been there for Sungyeol.
He clearly remember that day, he was just turning six and had taken a walk in the forest with his mother… leaving his mother to her work, of plucking beautiful flowers to make a perfume out of them, little Sungyeol had taken the task of exploring the stunning place on his own. Sungyeol noticed how the sky outside was bright and sunny… meaning the whole night has passed, his parents and tribe must be really worried. But looking at Myungsoo’s hunched down shoulders all Sungyeol could think about was the grave feeling he could feel the elder was emitting… all thoughts of his parents evaporated as Myungsoo’s earlier words once more rebounded in the confinement of his brain.
“Y-you… you are my mate,” Sungyeol spoke sotto voce and noticed how Myungsoo’s whole body became
