Sungyeol slowly walk through the thick forest, a slight smile tugging at the corner of his lips. He kept going calmly and keeping his back straight… waiting for that moment to arrive…

Suddenly the young werewolf found two hands clasping on his eyes, from behind him, making him to grin harder but he tried his best to tone down his wide smile before saying in a fake exasperated voice, “How many times I have to tell you… you trying to surprise me doesn’t work because I can sense you coming from 10 miles away.”

A sweet melodious chuckle resonated just beside Sungyeol’s sensitive ear, making his stomach to twist pleasantly.

“Yet you still let me sneak up on you, and that is enough for me.” Myungsoo’s amused voice drummed in Sungyeol, the hot breath of other making a shudder ran down his spine. And the younger got to admit, he could have turned around before his mate’s sneak ups on him but Myungsoo’s bright childlike eyes always make him want to do otherwise.

Sungyeol hands reached out to uncover his eyes before swirling around his mate’s arm in order to face Myungsoo. His eyes roamed over the dimple smile and bright eyes of Myungsoo and unconsciously his hand reached out to clasp behind latter’s neck and tug him a little before planting his lips on Myungsoo’s. A blissed sigh escape both the mate’s with their lips molding perfectly against each other. Myungsoo’s arm reached out to hold the slim waist of other before hauling his body toward himself. Myungsoo’s hands moving ever so sensually on Sungyeol’s back were reeling up the younger a little too much. When things started to get slightly heated up, both the wolves’ knew they were inclined toward something dangerous. Still, Sungyeol’s loud whine echoed around the otherwise silent forest once Myungsoo broke the kiss and leaned away, his hands still wound around his mate’s shaped body.

Myungsoo chuckled to see Sungyeol’s disapproving expression before he leaned in to brush their nose together, “So, did you sneaked out easily? Nobody saw you right?”

“I think General Hoya did see me but you know he is on our side… so no worries.” Sungyeol chipped happily. “Once he said my father was being an idiot.”

“Well, I whole heartedly agree with him,” Myungsoo muttered sourly earning a punch from a not so happy Sungyeol. “What?? Your father hates me!! And he does everything to make me suffer.”

Okay Myungsoo would admit, the Alpha might- MIGHT- has a reason to hate him.

It so happened… Kim Sunggyu, Kim Clan’s King, prediction came true. The moment Myungsoo opened his eyes after that fateful night, he blindly searched for his mate… failing to notice certain changes in his own body. Woohyun was only half way through telling him about the event of last night when Myungsoo was up and about, running toward Lee Clan because the dull pain he was experiencing being away from Sungyeol was building up with passing seconds and knowing Sungyeol would be going through same pain had Myungsoo wanting to reach his mate as soon as possible.

Myungsoo was aware of his friends following him from behind and worried to see him collapse after every two steps because of unbelievably harsh pain he was going through but they kept their distance and let the newly curse-broken werewolf to seek out his mate on his own. It took nearly two days for the howling in pain wolf to cover the vast forest… but to his utter relief and surprise he made it alive.

It was only when Myungsoo saw the big castle loaming in his line of vision that a fear gripped his raw heart… how would Lee Clan react to him?? Would they even let him trespass the main castle gate?

To Myungsoo’s great surprise he found himself facing ten big bulky werewolves’ but none of them were cracking their knuckles at him, on the contrary he could make out faint smiles adoring their faces. His confusion at the unexpected event came to end when General Hoya walked out from the castle confinements, giving a please look to Myungsoo’s panting form, before uttering, “Sungyeol has been waiting for you.”

Hoya’s words did the trick, triggering the mate instinct of Myungsoo and the latter found himself running toward his mate without regarding the weird and baffled looks he received from rest of Lee Clan, mostly women and children, who most probably didn’t even knew who Myungsoo was. But next thing Myungsoo knew he was bursting into Sungyeol’s bedroom, to find his mate howling in pain… all it had taken was one moment, where Myungsoo and Sungyeol’s eyes had met, and next time they became aware of their surrounding… they had already sealed the deal.

Regardless to say… Lee Sungjong, The Alpha, was out for Myungsoo’s blood.

Myungsoo had been belatedly informed that it was customary for a werewolf to officially approach an unmated werewolf’s guardian to ask for consonance and a special ceremony is held to bind the two wolves together but seeing how Myungsoo had acted on impulse… well, now all that was left to say was… oops!

Sungyeol’s mother has taken a quick likening to him… the only reason why Myungsoo was saved from the wrath the Alpha had planned for him… saying how Myungsoo was so good-looking, so well-mannered and kind, and the scoff the Alpha would let out was loud enough to echo in the whole forest.

“My father has every reason to hate you,” Sungyeol’s mirth filled voice broke Myungsoo out of his train of thoughts, snapping his attention back to his mate. “First, you kidnapped me.”

“What… no I didn’t… well I did… but you know… it was kind of necessary…” The baffled Myungsoo tried giving lame excuses but his mate was having none of that.

“THEN, you made me fall in love with you so much that I was willing to disobey my father.” Sungyeol pointed out

“Well not my fault if I am too good looking for you to resist,” Myungsoo said with a smug smile, earning a pinch at his side.

“AND, you ended up mating with me without asking my father first,” Sungyeol chuckled seeing the accusing look Myungsoo threw him.

“You are as much of a culprit as I am… you contributed in mating as much as I did,” Myungsoo grumbled before pulling his shirt down from his shoulder with one hand and doing the same to Sungyeol with his other… two identical marks, right in the junction of their neck and shoulder, could be seen easily. Feeling mesmerize by the sight that always leave Myungsoo breathless… because not being able to mate for last twenty decades it was nothing short to shocking to know he had ended up mating, finally… Myungsoo reached out to trace a finger at the bright mark, sending a shudder down Sungyeol’s spine.

Sungyeol wriggle out of his mate’s grasp because he still had many reasons to give and the dark lust filled look the elder was tossing him was not helping.

“Moreover, even if my father had forbid us to meet until our binding ceremony… but you lure me out of the castle everyday…” Sungyeol said cheekily.

“Wait what?! Yah! You are the one who sneaks out and lure me out to meet you.” Myungsoo pointed out with his eyes slanting dangerously but Sungyeol only grin and flickered elder’s forehead.

“Try telling that to my father,” Sungyeol felt giddy seeing how Myungsoo paled hearing his Father’s name. “And lastly but most importantly… you are taking me away from him.”

Myungsoo noticed how his mate’s voice dropped all happiness and engulfed in a sad aura and he knew the very reason of that. By tradition the Alpha-to-be had to find a mate, marry and have a first born child before they qualify to step up as the Alpha but seeing as Myungsoo and Sungyeol won’t be able to fill the last part thus obviously Sungyeol fell short to be the next Alpha. Naturally General Hoya’s 14 year old son was nominated as next Alpha-to-be… Myungsoo really hate to gloat but everything worked out for him. Now he could return back to Kim Clan with Sungyeol seeing as the younger was no longer bounded by Lee Clan… something Kim Clan’s Kings has pointed out much to Lee Sungjong’s dismay… thus forming another reason to hate Myungsoo to hell and back.
