Maybe he had been cursed since he was born. His father left him when he was born. A fortune-teller predicted that his life would be surrounded with cold and loneliness. Therefore, his grandfather named him Dongwan, so that he will always be warm and passionate. He lived with his mother in a rich neighbourhood, despite they were only living in the basement, just that his mother could give him a good education. The downside of it was his mother worked around the clock to make money to keep them alive, leaving him to care for himself. He was thankful though, as his hard life taught him to be independent since he was a kid.

                Just like the name he was given, he grew up as a naughty bubbly passionate boy. With his bright attitude (and handsome face.. he knew it), he fit in easily with the peers. Despite he was doing well in study during high school, he became distracted with rock music. So he decided to pursue his passion alongside his same passionate comrades, much to his mother disappointment.

                However, luck was not in his favour. Just after he finished high school, Dongwan and his bandmates went around to several entertainment companies to sell their worth, but was rejected countless times because their genre was not in market. Finally a company took them in, but the excitement did not last more than two years before the group was disband. They did not even made it to debut.

                After one disappointment after another, he gave in to his mother’s advice and decided to continue his study. He remembered clearly his mother’s tearful face and warm hug when he received the admission letter to the university. How a mother’s love never abandoned him, he determined to do his best on the path he had chosen then.

                He had been set back about three years behind his friends and pretty much everyone in his engineering class were younger than him. Even so, he had no problem blending in thanks to his friendly and charming demeanour (and of course his handsome face too). In addition to his clever mind, he effortlessly became one of the most popular lad in the uni. Then he was distracted again. Living to his name, Dongwan was wild and would mingle with anyone he could meet. Unfortunate for him, he never really stay for a close relationship as he was busy jumping around like a social butterfly.

                Then……. He met him. And everything took the worst turn.

in case u are wondering why im so late to update (i dont think anyone would), because of this chapter.. dongwan's background. i didnt like this chapter much bcoz its too dark to my liking, but i need to put it here to explain how dw feels and why he behaves like that. so ive been proscrastinating from writing this. . .
